We'll begin by finding a position that makes sense for our body.
You may want to lie down on your back and prop your knees up with a pillow.
Whatever position makes most sense for you,
Settle in best you can.
Being patient with yourself,
If you find yourself shifting a lot due to the pain,
It's ok.
Honor where you are right now.
Honor your choice to sit with this pain,
To be brave enough to confront it.
Place a hand on your pelvic area,
Just gently.
Begin to breathe,
Targeting the breath to that area.
Don't worry about breathing intensely or breathing quickly.
Just keep the breath soft,
Long and intentional.
Make sure that you're exhaling deeply just as you're inhaling deeply.
If your breath is short for whatever reason,
Just do what makes sense for your body and focus on the area beneath your hand.
Focus on directing the breath there,
No matter how shallow,
No matter how slow.
Now we're going to very subtly begin to push our pelvis up or forward just a little bit and then tilt it back so this is a very small movement,
Just about an inch,
Moving your pelvic area forward and then back.
Try to do this without clenching your glutes or getting tense,
And if you can't it's okay to just stay still,
Continuing to breathe,
Continuing to focus the breath to the area that's causing you pain.
Notice if it feels a little better if you shift your hips very slightly left or right.
Just find the smallest of movements here.
You can do this from any position,
Just very subtly moving the hips,
Just adding a little bit of mobility.
And then go ahead and settle back,
Allow your body to melt down into the surface beneath you,
Continue to target the breath to any areas that are bothering you.
And if you would like you can keep your hand where it is or allow it to fall away,
Continuing to breathe.
Just imagine a healing light.
This light could be whatever color comes first to mind.
It could be a white light,
A pink or blue,
Purple,
Whatever color,
Whatever it looks like,
However bright.
Imagine this light collecting at your heart center,
Just allowing this energy to grow,
To become stronger.
If you're shifting or needing to find a new position,
Feel free,
But continue to hold this visual.
Even if there's pain in the background,
Focus on this light pooling at your heart space.
As much as you can,
Bring your focus back to this light and then direct all of this light toward the source of pain.
As you inhale and exhale,
Imagine the light targeting the center of pain,
Filling the womb space,
The pelvic area,
The lower back.
As you breathe,
This light fills your entire lower body,
Radiates down the legs,
Expanding,
Expanding,
Expanding,
Expanding,
Expanding,
Expanding,
Expanding,
Expanding,
Expanding.
And now it's pooling there in your pelvic region and you feel it coating like paint,
Coating your inner organs.
And this light is a healing,
A nourishing,
An enriching light.
Imagine this light growing even brighter right at the area where you feel the most pain.
Breathe in to that area and this time as you breathe in,
See that light growing brighter and brighter.
Now see this healing light moving through your body,
Beginning to circulate through the whole system,
The upper body,
The lower body.
And as it circulates,
Send your pelvic area a huge dose of love.
Send your body a huge dose of love and appreciation.
Send yourself gratitude for listening so closely to your body,
For directing the breath,
For visualizing healing and send your body gratitude for signaling you with this pain.
And as you breathe here,
Choose to listen.
Don't listen for direct answers,
Just listen,
Listen fully.
And as your body softens even more,
Settling into its position,
Softening down,
Continue to listen.
I encourage you to rest for a while,
Allowing this healing light to cycle through your body,
Reminding yourself to listen,
To send yourself gratitude,
To honor your body.
Thank you so much for practicing with me today.
I wish you well.
