Hello and welcome to this meditation.
My name is Yelena Fu.
This is I Am Enough Meditation.
Most of us have felt not enough at one point or another in our lives.
Not enough can look like the lack of self-confidence,
Insecurity,
Trying to be perfect,
Trying to please people,
Trying to control people or life.
Not enough colors our choices,
Attitudes,
Behavior,
And in some way it runs our lives.
Reasons for this feeling lie in our childhood,
In parenting and education we received.
Life circumstances like traumas,
Illnesses,
Or loss,
They all made us come to the conclusion that we are somehow not enough,
Not worthy,
Or not appropriate.
We spend years living from the place of not enough and often we feel drained,
Overwhelmed,
Without energy.
That's because it is difficult to give from a place of not enough.
First we need to learn to fill our own cup before we share with the others.
Today let's work on feeling enough,
Feeling whole and appropriate.
Please prepare for the meditation.
Sit comfortably,
Straighten your back,
Relax your shoulders,
Release the tension from your jaw,
Soften your face,
Take a deep slow breath and as you exhale relax even more.
Close your eyes.
Let's begin with affirmations.
Repeat after me.
I am strong enough,
Smart enough,
Brave enough.
I am kind enough,
Creative enough,
Confident enough.
I am kind enough,
Creative enough.
I am beautiful enough,
Skilled enough,
Helpful enough.
I am loved,
I am loved,
I am loved,
I am lovable,
I am deserving,
I am good enough,
I am good enough,
I am good enough,
I have enough,
I am doing enough.
I am perfectly imperfect human being.
I am a beautiful soul.
For the next few moments add your own affirmations or repeat some of the affirmations mentioned just now.
And now let's turn this sentence into a mantra.
So softly,
Kindly,
Lovingly repeat this to yourself.
I am enough.
I am enough.
I am enough.
I am enough.
Keep repeating the mantra for a few more moments.
You may now release the mantra.
Focus on the feeling of enough in your body,
In your energy field.
How does being enough,
Complete and whole,
Feel in your heart,
In your mind,
In your body?
Anchor that feeling by placing your hand on the heart and taking a deep,
Slow breath.
Whenever you feel not enough,
Whenever you feel challenged,
You may return to this movement,
Placing your hand on the heart,
Taking a breath and bringing back the feeling of being enough.
We are coming to an end of this practice.
If you want,
You may stay here a little bit longer and repeat more affirmations or mantra.
Or you may slowly bring the attention to your body,
Wiggle your toes,
Your fingers,
Gently open your eyes and return to your day.
