The Drive Home Hi,
This is Jeff Bosworth seeking to bring a more positive and peaceful world to each individual.
This practice is for your commute home,
After work,
Or any stressful situation.
It is meant to relax you,
To help let go of the day,
And prepare you to be the best self when returning home to your family,
Pets,
Or simply yourself.
Ease into it by taking a grounding breath in,
And a slow exhale to release any tension built up throughout the day.
If it is safe to do so,
Roll your shoulders to loosen any tightness you may feel,
And smile the biggest beautiful smile you've had all day.
Now you can repeat after me audibly or in your mind,
Whichever helps you let go.
So let's begin.
I did my best today.
I am creating the life I want both personally and professionally,
But I am leaving my work at work.
I allow myself to find mindful peace with every breath I take.
I will leave this work day behind and summon fresh energy for my loved ones,
My self-care,
And any task in my personal life.
I choose to stop worrying,
Stressing,
And dwelling on any negativity of the day.
I am in a safe place to clear my mind and reset it for when I arrive home.
It is okay to relax and reset after a long day.
Rest is not a luxury,
But a priority.
I know that living a balanced life includes taking time to do nothing at all.
I am thankful for the opportunities that came my way today,
But now I shall rest.
Tomorrow my goals are always possible.
My mindfulness is my priority.
I will remember that my personal life is what is really important in this life.
I will greet my family with love and appreciation.
I can smile now.
I relax now,
So I may have a clear mind and fresh motivation when I get home.
Thank you for joining me today,
And I hope this helps you release this day and gives clarity about what is most important.
Namaste.
