Namaste and welcome to day 4 of the level 2 course on Siva Kundalini Sagana.

Yesterday you learnt about karma and how to overcome creating new karma by activating Sushumna Nadi.

Today we will learn about different ways to burn karma.

When Kundalini energy moves from Mooladhara to Sahastrara,

All the karmas,

Sanchita,

Prarabdha and Agami are burnt or get nullified.

It is said that enlightenment can happen within a blink of an eye.

One might wonder how it is possible.

When we examine ourselves,

We are made up of impressions and we create an identity out of these impressions.

This identity is called as self-identity or also we can call it as self-image.

When the self-identity is associated with our body and mind,

We are becoming limited.

This is known as anavamala or anavapasa.

Anu means limited and mala means impurity or asuddha.

Associating oneself with body and mind,

We are entering into limitedness and due to this limitedness we are entering into maya or illusion.

The impurity associated with maya or illusion is called mayiyamala or mayiyapasa.

This perception of difference or sense of separatedness between us and the world creates comparison to others.

This comparison gives rise to the feelings of jealousy and anger.

We are accumulating karmas because we are in maya.

Karmamala is the limiting condition associated with the body.

Karmamala is due to the residual traces of actions done under the influence of desires or vasanas.

It is the force of these vasanas that carries us from one life to another.

If any jiva or living being is trapped in any of these three pasas,

Then it is called pasu means animal.

One of the names of the Lord Shiva is Pasupati.

Pasupati means the one beyond all these impurities.

Once we become unlimited,

The malas will go away and our consciousness expands and comes out of maya.

Karma gets burnt in an instant.

Once we identify ourselves with Shiva,

We become unlimited.

We will now start the initiation of Sushumna Nadi activation.

Do not try to do this while you are driving or operating machinery.

This practice has to be done in comfortably seated position on the ground or in the chair.

Be seated in a comfortable state.

Keep your spine,

Neck and head erect.

Now place your palms on your legs gently with your palms facing upward.

Keep Chin Mudra by touching your thumb with your index finger gently on both the hands.

Keep your eyes closed and focused on the space between your eyebrows and chant the Sivoham mantra.

I will now initiate the process of activating your Sushumna Nadi.

Until and unless I say you to open your eyes,

Don't open your eyes and simply chant the Sivoham mantra.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Now slowly rub your palms for 5 seconds till you feel the warmth in your palms and now place the palms on your eyes.

Be there for 10 seconds and slowly open your eyes by looking into your open palms.

Now you can rub your face,

Head and body with your palms.

Today we learnt about how karma can be burnt in different ways.

On day 5 we will learn how to integrate the techniques you learnt from day 1 to day 4 into a daily practice.

I hope you learnt something new today.

Thank you for joining me in this session today and I'll look forward to seeing you on day 5.
