Welcome,

Dear one.

Take a moment to settle.

Close your eyes or soften your gaze so you can allow these words of encouragement to flow right through you.

Gratitude is the simple art of seeing with brand new eyes.

It is the soft exhale where we notice what is here right now and choose to always treasure it.

Gratitude does not wait for life to be perfect.

In fact,

It often shines most brightly in the cracks of imperfection,

Like wildflowers blooming through hard pavement.

Imagine now that you are holding a pair of glasses.

These are the glasses of gratitude,

Tinted with love,

Joy and happiness.

And whenever you gently place them on,

Life begins to shift.

Notice now what comes into focus with you.

Perhaps it's the laughter of a child.

Perhaps it's the comfort of a blanket on a cold and breezy day.

Or the warmth of sunlight resting gently on your face.

Let yourself breathe into these moments,

Feeling how gratitude turns the ordinary into the extraordinary.

Gratitude does not deny or ignore pain.

It is the courage you lean into.

It is the willingness to hold pain in one hand and endless possibility in the other.
