Create Your Ideal Self Image To Build Self Belief & Success

Journey inward and bring to life your idealised self-image – the person you want to become to achieve the goals in your life. For many people their perceived limitations are far more restrictive than their true limitations. But self image can be changed. You can learn to develop a healthier and more accurate view of yourself – without the limitations you have taken on from others. By strengthening your self-image, you will find your confidence, self-esteem, and sense of purpose grow.

Welcome to this meditation in which I'll be guiding you to bring to life your idealized self-image.

The person you want to become to achieve the goals that you have in your life.

Because by getting clear on your self-image and working out the changes required to achieve your goals you will find your confidence,

Self-esteem and sense of purpose grow as a result.

Take a moment to make yourself comfortable either sitting or lying down in a place where you won't be disturbed.

Making any adjustments to the body.

Uncrossing the arms and legs and when you're ready just allow those eyes to close and take some nice deep comfortable breaths in and out.

Breathing in through the nose as your lungs gently fill with air and as you breathe out just noticing the tension being released from the body.

Really noticing how the body has started to relax.

And as you continue to take some slow comfortable breaths I want you to be aware of how your body feels.

Noticing the feeling of the support underneath you,

The chair,

The floor,

The bed,

Wherever you are.

Notice where it touches your body,

Where it touches your skin and as you draw your awareness and attention to your body become more aware of any areas of tension.

Any areas that perhaps feel tight or constricted in some way.

And as you continue to take those slow deep comfortable breaths in and out you can direct your breath,

Your attention to these areas.

And on each exhale of that breath starting to feel any tension dissolving,

Loosening,

Unwinding and letting go.

Feeling your whole body becoming more and more relaxed.

Perhaps even getting a sense of sinking down deeper and deeper into comfortable relaxation.

So as you rest here with your eyes closed know that in a few moments you can easily and gently go into a wonderful state of deep relaxation.

Where you find that positive thoughts and feelings flow easily and naturally.

Where your imagination can become stronger and focused on the positive ideas and suggestions that you hear.

Where you can make many positive changes and so as the body starts to relax more and more you can just follow my instructions as you allow your breath to slow.

As the breath finds its own natural rhythm as you continue to let go.

Because the way that you naturally relax and let go is completely unique to you.

And there is a wisdom in your body.

An intuitive wisdom that knows exactly what you need to do to completely let go.

To relax both your body and your mind.

And so you can really give this time to yourself gently and easily letting go.

Becoming calmer and more comfortable with each and every breath that you take.

More and more relaxed.

Allowing that relaxation to grow and deepen now.

From the very top of the head down through the face,

The neck,

The shoulders,

The arms.

Down through the chest,

The stomach.

Unwinding and unknotting all those muscles.

As that relaxation now moves down through those legs,

The calves and down through those feet to the very tips of those toes.

A deep relaxation of comfort and rest.

Feeling that inner stillness inside.

And if your mind should wonder during this meditation just know that is completely normal.

And you can just let any thoughts moves through your mind just as easily as they came.

Knowing that you don't need to give them any attention right now.

And you can instead gently return your attention to the sound of my voice as you relax more and more.

And there is no need to try and relax because a deeper part of your mind knows how to do this without any conscious effort on your part.

And as you listen to the sound of my voice you recognize that you have started a powerful journey of change.

A journey to help strengthen the image that you hold of yourself and the goals that you want to achieve in your life.

Because by learning how to develop and strengthen a more accurate view of your true self you can in turn step into and become the most empowered version of you.

Who can confidently step out into the world and achieve all that you are capable of.

Your self-image and your goals are dynamic.

They are not set in stone.

They can be molded and shaped like clay so that they progressively reflect your true values and desires in a more satisfying way.

And so as you continue to relax and listen to my voice there may be a part of you that may be wondering how all of this will really work.

How it will all turn out.

But all you need to do now is to simply allow yourself to let go.

To do less.

To do nothing.

Because right now I want you to tap into your inner resources.

Your own inner powers of what your mind can do for you.

Because you have all the skills you need to start moving confidently forward in the direction of your goals.

The ability deep down within to be successful in your life.

To become the person you desire and were born to be.

So you'll now begin to use your imagination in a new way.

So that new ideas,

New concepts,

New patterns will start to emerge in the inner screen of your mind.

As you now embark on this wonderful journey of positive change and exploration.

As you begin now to bring to life the future that you want to create.

The goals that you want to achieve.

And it may be true that many people will avoid setting firm goals in their life because they feel that by being vague about things allows them to be more free and spontaneous.

Or perhaps they fear envisaging their future because they are afraid it won't be good enough or they will be unable to bring that future to life.

But the truth is that the more you start to picture your future self and the future that you want to create.

The more creative and the more inspired you will feel.

And the more detailed and vivid things become.

Ideas feed on ideas.

And by allowing yourself time to create a powerful vision of your future.

This vision of your future will naturally evolve.

And you will find yourself taking more and more aligned action.

Becoming more confident and more self-assured.

As you take the steps necessary to bring your future vision to life.

For it to become your reality.

And over time it will all just seem to happen.

Naturally,

Easily and comfortably.

As you become the version of yourself you are here to be.

And so I will gently guide you now on the steps to achieve more clarity on this version of you.

And what changes are required to achieve the goals you have for yourself.

And as you do you will find that your confidence,

Self-esteem and sense of purpose grow.

So start by picturing an image of yourself in the near future.

With all the success,

Self-belief,

Confidence and characteristics which are within your power to achieve.

Free from any limitations imposed by others.

Perhaps as you picture this image of yourself you will also feeling calmer,

Hopeful and positive.

That's right.

And as you picture this image of yourself in the near future I want you to think of any current difficulties that you might be facing and the person you would have to become in order to solve them.

Who would you need to become to develop new ways of responding?

New behaviors and new responses that would be superior to those old ways.

It doesn't matter how vividly you picture things.

The images will become stronger with time.

For now it's the thought that counts.

The idea that you have in your mind.

And so as that image starts to form in your mind as it becomes more vivid I want you to silently begin to describe your ideal self-image.

The person you would like to be.

The person who is responding,

Thinking and feeling differently.

And I want you to describe your ideal self in the first person and present tense.

You can begin by saying to yourself I am and putting your own ending on those words.

Add in as much detail as you can and keep picturing that goal of your ideal self as you begin to describe it.

Taking a few moments now.

Silently in your mind seeing and sensing those qualities.

All you may want to say them out loud.

Good.

Now let your mind go blank.

Fade any images from your mind and allow the canvas of your mind to clear.

In a moment I am going to ask you to picture your present self-image evolving and transforming into that ideal self-image.

Doing so will help you clarify the road to achieving your goals and make it feel more concrete and real.

So let us begin.

I want you to think of yourself as you see yourself today.

Imagine the person you are right now.

Now gradually in steps and stages begin to picture yourself turning into the person you wish to be.

The person you described and envisioned in your mind.

See yourself evolving bit by bit into your ideal self.

Picture how the changes occur over time.

See a natural and realistic progression from the present day towards the future goal.

Just like an oak tree grows from an acorn see your future self developing organically from your present situation.

See yourself growing emotionally becoming stronger more confident more empowered.

Featuring realistic changes happening in achievable steps and stages.

That's it.

Seeing yourself evolving.

Good.

And now I want you to repeat that process this time making it more vivid and more detailed.

See your present self-image first of all then in your mind picture it gradually evolving transforming into your ideal future self.

Your goal becoming a more confident successful and self-assured version of you.

That's it.

Seeing the evolution and transformation.

Good.

And once again I want you to repeat that process making it even more vivid and with even more detail.

See your present self-image first of all then picture it gradually evolving transforming into your ideal future self.

Your goal becoming the best version of you.

The version of you who is confidently stepping forward achieving their goals and success in life.

Allowing that image to come to life on the inner screen of your mind perhaps even noticing sensations or feelings inside of the body while you do this.

Good.

Seeing your present self evolving and transforming.

And now for the final time I want you to repeat that process making it even more vivid even more detailed as you see your present self-image first of all and then picture that image gradually evolving and transforming into your ideal future self.

Your goal becoming the version of you that achieves the success you desire in your life.

Seeing that version of you taking those steps forward confidently feeling empowered feeling positive creating change that's it.

And so once you have pictured that final evolution in your mind I want you now to cast your mind back to a time in the past where you felt a sense of achievement or success.

If you can't think of a memory at the moment just imagine what it must feel like when you really achieve something to your satisfaction.

And so as you bring to life that feeling in your body in your mind allow those positive emotions and sensations to really grow inside.

Perhaps even feeling an inner warmth or glow.

I want you to imagine carrying that feeling forward into everything you do now in your life.

As you keep the progress towards your ideal self-image in your mind and cultivate the same feeling of achievement towards the changes that you pictured happening.

You now feel that you can do it achieve it.

You feel confident self-assured and focused on your goal and you feel good about yourself.

And as you continue to relax here I want you to keep identifying with your self-image and keep working towards it in the way you pictured.

Working towards how they think,

How they feel and how they act and behave.

Every day you walk and talk like the person you want to be.

You have the habitual thoughts and feelings of your ideal self.

You constantly work on your self-image like a great sculptor working with clay.

Creatively giving form to your ideas.

You are focused on that goal and identified deeply with your own realistic and achievable vision of success.

You feel powerful.

You feel a sense of being in control and at the center of things.

Driving positive changes in your life and those changes can continue to grow and strengthen and move you forward without any limitation.

Free to become the best version of you.

And so every day I want you to think about your ideal future self and really envisage how you might evolve into the person that you want to be.

Picturing the road to success.

And this process will continue to develop and deepen over the next few days and nights as you start to notice how you begin to think differently about things and in turn start to feel differently.

And these positive changes continue to have a flow-on effect into all areas of your life.

And you can be pleasantly surprised to notice these changes in your life as new thoughts and feelings emerge.

As inspiration and confidence grow silently and steadily as deep changes continue to happen.

And so taking a few moments now to take a nice deep comfortable breath as you ground yourself into these new ideas,

New possibilities and really allow that growing sense of confidence and excitement to take root inside of you.

That's it.

And so as you prepare to come all the way up and out of this meditation as I start to count out from one to five.

As I start to count up you start to feel more alert,

More aware,

Positive and ready for whatever the next step is for you.

And so counting up now.

One that feeling starting to return to your hands and feet moving all the way up through those arms and legs.

Two that feeling moving right up through your body now as you start to come closer and closer to full awareness.

Three the energy moving up through your waist and into your chest.

That's right and four energy flowing up through your shoulders into your neck right up into the head so that the skin on the face and scalp start to tingle with vitality.

And five all the way up now eyes open wide awake fully aware.
