Welcome.
Thank you for being here.
Please be comfortable if possible with whatever is going on.
A possibility of somewhere,
Some ease.
Maybe even somewhere,
Some awe of being right in the middle of mystery.
Blood stream,
Slip stream.
And perhaps enjoying the sense of being together with the same wind blowing across the face of the earth.
Breathing in and out the shared atmosphere.
And perhaps with an out breath or two,
Allowing especially your lower body to relax and soften and open and be felt.
Maybe as if,
Even if there's a lot of thinking and story going on,
Maybe if we're at least up to our waist in now,
In aliveness.
And perhaps from the very beginning today,
Again,
Getting the sense of how part of what's lovely and wonderful about the chance to meditate together is that we really can each feel free to find our own way to connect to aliveness beyond ideas.
If we could have a sense of,
As if each one of us is playing a little bit different instrument in a symphony rather than all trying to be the same,
Rather than an assumption of one right way.
If we can kind of relax that somewhere in the instrument of our body and mind and life as a music beyond compare.
And perhaps for a while by relaxing a little bit more if we can.
Playing a little less hard if we can.
Opening to feel what's already happening and what the body already feels of itself.
Lower in the body the more you have going on in your head and heart.
And also sometimes farther back in the body the more you have going on in the front of your brain and your heart.
And even if you feel pretty mellow or quiet today,
How about more towards back and down?
To start with at least.
And letting the body be heavy.
Like a landscape.
Good.
And then maybe still allowing the lower body,
Back body to feel heavy and be itself and be alive and feel itself.
Maybe more like a moving landscape or a waterscape.
Things that are more like a body of water.
The waves and ripples and currents that are more up here of thinking,
Emotion,
Story,
Drama problem and way down,
Lower body and back,
Way down here,
Nonverbal presence.
And maybe when we let ourselves stay with the nonverbal presence,
Body feeling itself and the lower and back body perhaps or where you feel good.
Body and mind like a body of water.
Maybe staying with the nonverbal presence,
Nonverbal feeling directly,
Warm with coolness and heaviness and lightness.
Staying a little longer than is comfortable for the thinking self,
A little longer.
Sometimes we might start to get a feeling kind of quality of quietness,
Almost like a spring filling the lake from within.
Alright.
