Hello and welcome to the Bija Mantra.
In this meditation we're going to be working towards aligning our different chakras.
The chakras are wheels of energy where we find intersections through the multiple lines of energy throughout our body.
By balancing each chakra with all the other chakras allows us to find balance both internally and externally in our lives.
To begin with this meditation start by finding yourself in a comfortable seated position.
You want to be seated with a tall spine preferably away from any backrests.
You may want to sit on top of a yoga block or a pillow or bolster.
Anything that allows your hips to tilt forward slightly for you to be in a supported yet comfortable position.
And then with that tall spine and long neck start by softly closing your eyes.
For this meditation we're going to be using our voice together.
We'll be exploring the different seed sounds of each of the different chakras.
By using our voice and sounding the mantras for each of the chakras we allow our awareness to attune to each of them.
Allowing our awareness to touch upon them and send the intention for balance.
We are going to chant each seed sound seven times.
To begin we're going to start by bringing our awareness down to the base of our tailbone.
The seed sound for the root chakra is LAM.
A color you can visualize for this area is the color red.
The affirmation here is I am.
This is the place of energy and stability.
Allow your awareness to help it find balance.
Once again the seed sound is LAM.

Take a moment to notice how you feel after tuning with each of your chakras aligning and feeling balanced.
Perhaps you feel the vibration still tingling within your body or mind.
You can take a moment to reflect back on which seed sounds perhaps came out easiest or which had the hardest time leaving your mouth.
There's a lot of information we can glean from a practice like this.
So take your time with it and experiment.
Thank you for joining me on this journey today.
Namaste.
