These are for days where we need a little recovery.

I invite you to find yourself a comfortable position where either you are sat upright but perhaps today having some support from a pillow,

Perhaps resting your back against the chair or just invite yourself to lie down on your back or on your side.

You can have a little blanket to cover you,

Comfort you.

We just want to invite feelings of safety,

Of tenderness,

Warmth and love.

Breathe here with me.

Whatever happened,

Whatever might be going on,

Let's take this time together to just come back to ourselves and find a well of energy that we've been disconnected from.

Throughout this meditation I'd like you to try and deepen your breathing.

And when we are feeling low in energy,

By actively deepening our breath in this way,

Focusing on the stomach,

One hand here and perhaps another on the heart,

We remind ourselves with our soft presence to come back and be with the body.

So I invite you to do this now,

Deepening the breath,

Feeling this continuity of life flowing through you.

Breathing and with each breath noticing the body calling,

Softening,

Calming.

Noticing the softening in your chest,

Your belly becoming looser,

More inviting of each breath.

And know you are coming home to center any thoughts that might be apparent,

No matter.

The mind is just trying to remind you of certain things.

We can let our minds know,

We can say,

Thank you for telling me I'm going to go back to being with ourself.

Letting the brain,

The mind,

Permission to relax.

I'd like you to bring attention to the areas in your body in which you can sense goodness.

It might be the subtle enjoyment of breathing.

It might be the slackening in the neck and the shoulders.

All areas where the body is realizing joy,

Realizing peace,

Finding calm in its natural state.

Breathing into the body,

Into the legs,

The torso,

Back.

Knowing where you feel these,

Perhaps small areas of goodness.

Really let's amplify our awareness.

Where we decide to draw our attention to that is which we will be experiencing most strongly.

Let's amplify our attention on the areas of goodness.

And equally you might feel other areas of tension or tightness jump out and say hello.

We can acknowledge that they are there and go back to focusing on these other areas that are helping to find greater ease.

In these types of moments where we are more tired.

We are just simply holding space for the body's natural ability to heal itself through simplicity.

Through natural processes of settling,

Orientating to joy and ease.

Acknowledging any discomfort.

It is important to acknowledge that it is there so that we are not pushing away parts of ourselves that are also asking to be loved.

These are often seen as the unwanted identities,

The unwanted children in our bodies but we acknowledge they are there and with that acknowledgement we are offering love and tenderness.

And we come back to focusing on moments and feelings of goodness in the body to gently encourage and direct,

Orient the processes of the body,

The processes of the mind.

And you might notice in this moment a greater sense of ease than just when we started not so long ago.

And if the breath has again become shallow,

Either allowing it to be and following the curvature,

The sinuosity of the breath winding through our breathing channels or if it feels well to deepen the breath.

And when you are deepening,

Noticing that there can be a difference in too much effort which can actually tire us out further.

Rather the type of deepening that we are looking for is in the softening of the pathways,

Softening of the belly which naturally invites deeper,

Fuller breath.

Relaxing,

Calming the chest and the heart space to allow easier pathways through.

Being here,

Being with their softening body.

Being with our tender loving flow of breath.

Being you are exactly where you need to be.

This moment was made for you.

Your body and you have the natural ability to find health in any moment of struggle.

No matter how low you feel,

I urge and invite you to take time through these challenging moments,

Through these challenging periods to soften in love,

To soften in this natural state.

If it feels well to sigh after each breath or releasing from the mouth your breathing and releasing the hands,

Gently clasping them so the shoulders relax further.

You are well.

You are safe and you have everything you need in this moment and the next and the next.

Be well.

Know your higher self is always watching,

Is always listening and endeavouring to bring you back to here,

Back to home.

Feel free to come back to this meditation when you might feel as though you need a little support,

A little more spaciousness and allow,

Receive.

Know you are deserving.

I love you.

Be well.
