Let's begin by finding a comfortable position,
Whether you will be seated or lying down.
Make sure that the surface beneath you feels supportive and start to notice your breath.
Notice the breath going in and out of your nose,
In and out,
In and out,
In and out.
On your next inhale,
You can send the breath into the center of your head.
So breathe in and out to the center of your head,
In and out,
In and out,
In and out.
On your next inhale,
You can send the breath all the way down to your root chakra,
Which is located at the bottom of your spine.
So breathe in and out at the root chakra at the bottom of your spine.
The root chakra has to do with stability and also security and your fundamental need for survival.
So with every inhale to the root chakra,
Inhale energy,
Love,
Light,
Calmness,
Or whatever it is that you feel you need.
Breathe in,
Breathe out,
Breathe in and breathe out.
Feel the energy building up with each breath.
Breathe in and breathe out,
In and out.
On your next inhale,
Move your focus to your throat chakra,
Which is located in the center of your throat.
The throat chakra has to do with communication,
How you express yourself and also with how you listen.
So breathe in and out of the throat chakra.
Breathe in and breathe out,
Breathe in and breathe out.
Breathe in energy,
Love,
Light and whatever it is that you might need.
Breathe in and breathe out.
Feel the energy building up with every breath in your throat chakra.
Now we will try to connect the two chakras together.
We will do this by starting at the root chakra and breathe in here as we move up to the throat chakra and when we breathe out we will move down again to the root chakra.
So breathe in and move up and breathe out and move down again.
In and up and out and down again.
So in from the root chakra and up to the throat and out from the throat chakra and down to the root.
Breathe in and up and out and down.
In and up,
Out and down.
In and up and out and down.
On your next inhale we will try to reverse how we breathe.
So we will start at the throat chakra and when we breathe in we will move down to the root and move up again when we exhale.
So in from the throat and down to the root and out from the root and up again to the throat.
In and down,
Out and up.
In and down,
Out and up.
In and down,
Out and up.
On your next inhale you can move your breathing focus back to the center of your head again.
So breathe in and out to the center of your head.
In and out.
In and out.
And when you start to feel ready to end this meditation you can start to gently wiggle your fingers and toes.
Maybe stretch your arms a little bit and slowly open your eyes.
