Just find a comfortable position and close your eyes and just notice your breath.
Just notice how it goes in and out of your body and practice only observing,
Not changing anything about it,
Just accepting it as it is right now.
See if you can notice your breath entering your nose and how it exits and how it goes out from your nose as well and see if you can notice how your chest is expanding when you inhale.
Maybe you can even feel your ribs go out a little bit and how your body's almost like it's energizing on the inhale,
Filling up and how it is relaxing and letting go when you exhale.
Body filling up with oxygen on the inhale and the body letting go of carbon dioxide among other things when you exhale.
And now just let your breath be however it is right now and shift your focus to the part of your body that is touching the chair or the ground,
Wherever you are.
Just notice these points of contact and just doing this,
Noticing the points of contact with the ground,
Is a beautiful way of getting out of your busy mind if you experience that in your everyday life.
If you're out walking or standing up,
It's a great way to contact your feet because the feet is the body part that is furthest away from your mind,
So this can help shifting your focus down there.
And maybe you can even feel how Mother Earth is supporting you with this grounding,
Being in your body and not only in your mind.
So just allow this support from Mother Earth to be there for you,
Open up to it.
And now you can shift your focus back to your breath again and again just practice noticing it without changing anything.
Maybe you notice a difference from when we started,
Maybe it's a little bit slower,
Maybe a little bit deeper or maybe almost like a little bit more subtle.
Whatever has changed or not for you,
Practice accepting it as it is right now.
So with this acceptance you can start to wiggle your fingers and your toes and come back into the space you're in and gently open your eyes again when you're ready.
