Hello everyone,
This is Janice Marie.
I feel honored to be with you today.
Today I'd like to present affirmations for self-trust,
Empowerment,
And growth.
Many of us have grown up not to trust ourselves,
Our thoughts,
Our talents,
Our abilities,
And our feelings.
Sometimes we've been overwhelmed with other people's opinions and demands of us that we take them on as our own.
We may feel less than and not worthy.
We may do things because we feel we have to please others,
Either out of obligation or the need to survive.
We may not know who we really are and what we really believe.
We do things to fit in,
To be accepted,
Even when they don't feel right and may not be healthy for us,
Or may be even what our hearts want.
This is all too common.
My hope today by presenting the following affirmations is to help shift this paradigm in you.
To receive these affirmations,
You don't have to be meditating on a mountain.
You can be living your life with them playing in the background.
If you want to,
You can write the ones that resonate with you.
You can repeat them out loud,
Or you can softly say them to yourself.
There's no right or wrong way to listen to these affirmations.
Before we start,
Let's take one cleansing breath.
I don't let others define who I am.
They don't know my inner thoughts or feelings.
I know who I am,
And I know what I do.
My word is impeccable.
My fixing someone else's problems that they can do for themselves is not helping them grow and is building resentment in me.
I love to accept challenges.
Challenges open new doors for me.
I can discover parts of myself I did not know exist.
It's none of my business what others think of me.
I can rely on myself to fix my problems.
However,
I do seek guidance from qualified people if I'm stuck.
My age allows me to be well seasoned with wisdom,
Knowledge,
Spirit,
And calmness.
I am centered in all I do.
If I find for some reason I am disturbed by my thoughts or situations around me,
I do not have to immediately react.
I can pause and ask the universe for guidance.
I take quiet time to connect with my inner self,
Nature,
And the universe.
I can detach from a person or situation with love.
I can leave drama on the stage and not invite it to my place for a drink.
My body is my friend.
I love my friend with warts and all.
Making mistakes means that I'm trying and I'm learning.
If I made a mistake,
It is not Armageddon.
If I'm rejected for any reason,
It's the universe looking out for me.
I gravitate towards people whose values I respect.
It's none of my business what others think of me.
I have better things to think about.
I am worthy of love and respect.
I don't waste my time on others who do not appreciate my uniqueness.
I spend my time,
Energy,
And money on activities that support me.
I am responsible for my own thoughts and actions and that is liberating.
If others are not happy with my thoughts and actions,
That's not my problem.
I am well aware of what I do and what I don't do.
I stand by those decisions.
I may choose to change those decisions if there's evidence to do so for the greater good.
I give gratitude for what my body does well.
I work hard to get my goals and desires,
If they are for the greater good.
If I'm trying to force something to happen and it's not going my way,
That's a sign that I need to let go of the controls and let the universe take over.
I trust my gut.
Energy does not lie.
My body is amazing.
I can do so much with it.
I give gratitude for my body.
If I'm confused or hurt,
I take quiet time and listen for the universe to guide me.
A rejection does not necessarily mean I'm flawed.
It means there's a better path for me.
I'm grounded,
Yet I'm flexible.
I can help others,
But I don't have to carry them if they can walk on their own.
I give my energy and support to those who value me.
I can detach with love,
But still be present.
Smiling makes me feel happy.
I don't need fancy makeup to enhance my beauty.
I can just smile.
I love being older because I am more centered and wise.
I have compassion for those who attempt to hurt me because they lack the skills to engage with others effectively,
And that is sad.
I am a unique individual.
There's no reason for me to be a copy of somebody else.
I am already a masterpiece.
Being calm and centered are my superpowers.
Thank you for joining me today.
I hope these affirmations were able to resonate in some way with you today.
Mostly not all of them did,
But maybe one or two,
And that's enough.
That's enough to carry us through the day,
To help change our thought process,
And to help us move forward.
I am deeply honored that you chose to listen to this track today,
And I wish you the best of luck in your journeys.
Namaste.
