So allowing yourself to get settled into your space,
Closing your eyes,
And just beginning by bringing your awareness to the connection between the bottom half of your body and the seat below you.
Perhaps noticing your back connected to the space as well.
And just allowing your awareness to drift into these four walls.
And with these next few inhales and exhales,
See if you can allow your body just to begin to melt down into the space below you.
Almost as if the ground is completely holding the weight of your body and you allow yourself to sink a bit deeper below,
As if the energy of your body is merging with the earth.
Letting go of needing to do anything in particular here.
Just allowing the body to be soft and easy and beginning to turn all of your awareness inward.
Seeing if you can let go of any specific point or destination,
But just trying to feel your way to the opposite of the outer world.
Settling in.
Letting go.
Within each and every human being there are two tracks.
One that is the spirit,
Our true nature,
Our sense of well-being,
And then there is personal thinking.
So today we are going to make space for both.
When we think that we are just our thoughts,
That's the only world that we know.
But when we open up our awareness to the fact that we're both,
Then it's safe to ebb and flow between the two and find more spaces of peace during our human experience.
So right now,
Before we dive deeper and begin,
I want you just to set the intention that I'm going to make space.
I'm going to open up to both tracks.
I am more than my thinking and I'm just going to experiment and be curious about both today.
As we begin to settle a bit deeper within and letting go of our attachment to the outside world and just for now traveling into the safe inner world of pure spirit and light.
And we begin to settle into the part of us that is the container,
The space within which the personal thinking rises and then falls.
So as best as you can,
See if you can just settle into being space,
Being the track of well-being.
And then see if you can feel an expansion and make a bit of space for personal thinking to rise and fall within the container that is you.
So now we zoom out and become aware of both.
So without needing to do anything or try hard here,
Just observe,
Just notice both,
Just explore these states of being for a few breaths.
