So allowing yourself to get settled into your space,
Closing your eyes,
And just beginning by bringing your awareness to the connection between the bottom half of your body and the seat below you.
Perhaps noticing your back connected to the space as well.
And just allowing your awareness to drift into these four walls.
With these next few inhales and exhales,
See if you can allow your body just to begin to melt down into the space below you,
Almost as if the ground is completely holding the weight of your body.
And you allow yourself to sink a bit deeper below,
As if the energy of your body is merging with the earth.
Letting go of needing to do anything in particular here.
Just allowing the body to be soft and easy.
And beginning to turn all of your awareness inward.
Seeing if you can let go of any specific point or destination,
But just trying to feel your way to the opposite of the outer world.
Settling in,
Letting go.
And as best as you can,
Could you just allow yourself to see if you can let go of just a bit of control.
And just a bit more,
Could you allow yourself as best as you can to release just the corner of any sensation of control you may feel.
With every inhale and exhale here,
See if you can just soften just a bit away from the sensation of control.
Inhale,
Exhale.
And once more,
As best as you can,
Could you just allow yourself to let go of one more corner of that control.
And without trying or efforting your way to this,
See if you can just allow yourself to settle into a space of being completely taken care of.
Perhaps asking yourself,
What would it feel like to be fully held?
Settling into the sensation of being fully held.
Letting go of effort.
If there was nothing to control right now,
But if it was completely okay just to be.
Just right now.
And as best as you can,
Could you just allow yourself to rest here for just a bit.
And whenever you feel ready,
Just allowing yourself to begin to bring your awareness to the connection between your body and the seat below you and behind you once more.
Becoming aware of this space that your body occupies in space.
Noticing the sounds around you in all directions.
Feeling the sensation of gravity holding you down into your space.
Placing yourself behind your eyes.
Placing yourself inside of your body.
And just noticing that you are on the earth.
At your own pace,
Taking three long,
Slow,
Quiet,
Deep inhales and exhales.
In through the nostrils,
Out through the mouth,
Letting everything go.
Whenever you feel ready,
Just beginning to circle the hands and move the wrists.
Circling the feet and moving the ankles and just transitioning into stretching or moving any parts of your body that feel ready to stretch or move.
And whenever you feel ready,
You can go ahead and open your eyes.
