Welcome to this Reiki-infused mind-body-medicine meditation,

Opening to a higher perspective.

Opening to love.

What is my body trying to tell me?

Accessing body wisdom.

So as you start to gather your energy and take some deep breaths,

This meditation is for times when you feel frustrated about a symptom,

You don't understand why it's here,

You don't know what you need.

And this meditation will allow us to open our mind to possibility,

To clarity,

To wisdom,

To love.

The interesting thing about these meditations is don't force yourself to receive the answer during the meditation.

You might,

But a lot of times this is just like if you were a gardener,

You're tilling the soil,

You're planting the seeds.

And then as you move through your life,

When your mind's a little quiet,

Because you've programmed your brain now to look for this wisdom,

Using your creative brain,

Your higher mind,

Something will just pop in,

You know,

Oh my gosh,

I have this unworthiness pattern I haven't healed yet,

Or whoa,

Cheese is fine with me but I've just been eating a lot of it and so maybe I'll just dial back on that,

Give my body a minute,

Come back into a little balance.

It could be anything,

Right?

So take some deep breaths,

Settle in as we begin.

I am behind my eyes.

I am in my body.

I am connected to source.

Source is my source.

I call my energy and my power back from wherever I may have innocently placed it.

I am connected to the wisdom and love of my higher self.

Connected to source.

Connected to my body.

Connected to the earth.

I feel an extension of my energy move down into the earth.

And just like a bathtub draining,

I just let any energetic debris I no longer wish to carry drain down that bathtub into the earth,

Recycled,

Transmuted for everyone's highest good.

I release any energy I may be carrying that isn't mine to carry.

And I call all of my energy back to me now.

This is my space.

I do not allow anything in it without my permission anymore.

Feeling the connection between your body and your seat,

And deepening the breath all the way into the belly.

Long slow exhale.

Let's do a few more of these deep,

Long,

Slow breaths just to bring you into center.

Allowing this meditation to be infused with Reiki,

For your highest good,

And safe and easy ways,

Reminding you of whatever you need today.

As we simply allow ourselves to,

Again,

Open to an energy of curiosity,

Lightness,

Ease,

Openness,

Open-mindedness.

Healing allows us to invite all things.

So we invite the symptoms and not feeling well,

And how hard it is.

We invite all of that.

That is welcome here too.

And without needing that to be any different,

We welcome in wisdom.

From benevolence,

From love.

Good.

So could we make space for all of it right now?

Could we let ourselves be where we are?

I feel how I feel.

You can even repeat after me in your mind.

This is here.

This is hard.

This is heavy.

I feel how I feel.

And what is your truth about it for the moment?

Your subjective truth?

I feel around my symptoms.

And I want.

What do you want?

Health,

Resolution,

Clarity,

Vitality,

Peace.

Good.

So I really want you to open your mind.

Our humanity thinks,

You know,

One plus one equals two.

I have a headache,

Tylenol helps.

Which,

Yes,

It does sometimes.

And we open our mind to,

Oh my gosh,

I never put two and two together.

That maybe I'm filling my day too much.

One of my healings came from realizing I needed more time to allow in tactile pleasure.

Gardening,

Touching the earth.

I wasn't adding that in enough.

And my body was suffering.

But you wouldn't know that that could heal symptoms.

And so it's different for all of us.

And sometimes we're afraid,

At least this was my experience,

We're afraid to hear the answers because we think it's going to be really hard work or something we don't want to do.

And in my experience,

When the answer comes from love,

It's something as simple and loving as that.

Honey,

Make space for your feet on the earth.

Make time for that.

You don't need to do so much.

So just know that there's love here.

There's softening here.

There's benevolence here.

And that's what we're opening to.

Not some crazy voice that's going to tell us we've got to do this ridiculous detox we don't want to do.

So breathe and soften.

Breathe and soften.

Settling a little bit deeper within.

And all we're going to do is bring to our awareness the diagnosis or the symptom,

Whatever it is you're working on right now,

Be one symptom of the whole thing or the whole thing.

Kind of see it out in front of you,

Holding it in your mind.

We don't have to go into anything right now.

This is a light meditation.

And all we're saying is I choose to open to something I haven't seen around this yet.

A higher perspective.

Creative solutions.

And that's just us instructing the creative part of our brain to look for something that's not in the known of our Rolodex of mind.

Nothing weird or far out there.

Just,

Hey,

I'm open now and I'm creating this space to open.

So I'm going to give you a couple quiet minutes.

Remember,

An answer might pop in,

It might not.

It's a tiny little whiff of something that's gentle.

So I'm opening to a higher perspective around the symptom.

And opening to love,

That benevolent whisper.

Something I haven't seen yet.

A new thought.

A new belief.

And I'm just breathing and with an open mind,

That curious energy,

That ease,

That lightness.

I just kind of see if something dawns on me or not.

Just kind of ask and let it go and listen just for a couple minutes here together.

Now we're going to ask to the wholeness of our diagnosis or a symptom.

We're just going to ask it for its wisdom,

What it's trying to tell us.

And now,

For example,

As silly as it sounds,

Sometimes I'll get to Google worthiness or to talk to someone.

So it might be the exact wisdom or it might be that next action step.

You might just hear slow down and breathe in this present moment.

So,

Again,

Opening the mind to,

I don't know,

I'm just going to notice how this thing feels.

And if this answer feels loving and benevolent.

I know this isn't 1 plus 1 equals 2 that I learned.

But I'm just going to open to just that next little light,

Gentle thing that's popping in as I open and be curious and light.

As I ask this last question here and give myself some contemplative space,

Something might dawn on me,

It might not.

Just that next little step or that profound wisdom.

What is my body trying to tell me?

What is the wisdom in this symptom,

Symptoms or information?

And it could literally be,

Oh,

You're dysregulated.

You just need to ground more.

Doesn't mean you like it or love the way that it feels.

Doesn't mean that it's your fault or that you're doing it on purpose.

It just means that there's a little light and a little love trying to show you something you might not know yet in human reality.

What is my body trying to tell me if it were delivering a message,

A loving message?

And what is the wisdom here?

We're just going to breathe and listen for a couple more minutes like we just did.

Just breathe into the belly,

Soften the body.

The journey is just beginning to decipher the language of truth and the language of the patterns,

That's all.

The fear and the habits will just feel really urgent and fast and we'll listen to those and then they keep us in the same patterns and we love them home.

And beyond that,

We just,

We listen deeper.

We take this time out just to get curious,

Just to plant a seed,

Just to huh.

And then something will dawn on you.

If it didn't now,

It will later.

And so if you have a moment or two just to jot down any tiny whiff of image,

Feeling,

Thought,

Sensation that was gentle that came in,

You can do so now.

And come back to this anytime you feel stuck,

Frustrated,

Challenged,

Just to have a quiet minute to open your mind to truth.

So as you feel ready,

Just gently gathering your energy to the present.

Feeling your body under and behind you,

Breathing a little deeper.

Maybe touching the body.

I am here.

I am now.

Gently looking around the room and slowly taking in the lights,

The shadows,

The textures and opening your eyes whenever you're ready.
