A live music meditation featuring a musical improvisation on the handpan, shruti box drone, 24 in frame drum, flutes/clarinet and goat toes. Designed to be experienced listening with headphones, the goat toes were recorded to create a bilateral stimulation effect. This back and forth recording technique encourages communication between the left and right hemispheres of the brain and in the process helps the brain to move out the stress/anxiety response. This track is 27 minutes long and was specifically designed to help with falling asleep or getting back to sleep but it can be used day or night as a nervous system reset to transform your state and calm the body/mind. All instruments played by James Kellerman. Produced, recorded, and mixed by James Kellerman, ©2025

Welcome,

My name is Jim.

I've created this recording to help you,

To help you change how you're feeling in your body and how you're thinking in your mind.

With this recording,

We can work together to consciously refocus your attention,

Give your nervous system a chance to reset and come back to balance.

We all experience anxiety,

Fear,

Or stress.

It can be hard to remember that your body is trying to help you with this response.

Bringing your awareness to what's going on in your body and in your mind gives you the opportunity to change your state of being.

I want to help you do that.

We'll use a technique called bilateral stimulation,

Coupled with your breathing,

To redirect your thoughts and quite literally rewire your brain.

The music is created to create a trance state,

And the left-right movement of sound in the goat toes encourages the two hemispheres of your brain to communicate with each other and in the process,

Shift out of your stress response.

Let's get started.

Prepare your space.

Take a big,

Deep breath.

Let your air out nice and slow.

Breathe again.

Explore how deep can your air go into your lungs?

How long can you take for your exhale?

Breathe again.

Feel the layers of protection and stress that might be holding on in your body.

See if you can let those go.

We'll use the sound of the flutes and clarinet to be a gentle reminder to breathe.

When you hear the first phrase,

You can breathe gently in.

And as the second phrase releases,

You can breathe gently out.

Take a big,

Deep breath in.

And now gently let your breath out.

We'll breathe in again.

And now gently breathe out.

Let the waves of your breath feel your body relax.

And know you're safe.

This state is temporary.

You have the power to change where your attention goes.
