Hi,

I am Jamaluddin.

Welcome to the guided practice on how to detach from the judging mind.

Today we are going to do a guided practice which will allow us to find the judging part of our mind and heal it with awareness.

Before going into the practice,

Let us understand what is a judging mind.

It is a condition in the mind where we make opinions about the experiences even before completely understanding and being aware of them.

We normally experience physically through the sensations,

Mentally through reasoning and visualizations and we become aware by feeling it.

But when we judge,

We are cutting off from our ability to feel and understand that experience.

We are just in the mind.

That is why when we judge and attach to our own opinions in the mind about an experience,

We are rejecting the knowledge and awareness from it.

Having a habitual judging mind is a disorder and that compels for overthinking that will affect our ability to understand.

Overthinking and a judging mind can lead to stress,

Anxiety and depression.

So let us practice how to detach ourselves from the judging mind.

Now close your eyes and ground yourself in the present moment by asking your whole being where do I exist in this vast spacious consciousness?

Now observe.

You may feel a tingling sensation all around your outer form of your body.

Carefully observe the tingling sensation all around.

From the head to the toes of the legs.

Down to this outer form of your body,

Anchor your mind.

Let your form of your mind reside and align in your physical form.

Let it be safe and secure.

Enrich it with calm rhythmic breathing.

Breathe as if it is a wave in a light rhythm.

Inhale and exhale.

Follow this rhythm throughout this practice.

Now try to feel with your awareness this rhythmic breath and the presence of the mental form in your body.

Feel the rise and fall of awareness with your rhythmic breath.

Let the awareness flow to your mind and body.

Feel the pure energy around you.

In this present moment,

Try to observe for any judging appearing in your mind.

There may arise some judging,

Just observe it appearing,

Not engaging with it.

In this present moment,

With awareness,

It is easy to see the rise of judging in mind.

Now acknowledge that there is judging in my mind.

Tell your whole being,

I will heal the judging with awareness and understanding.

Say to yourself,

Oh the judging mind,

Not I will nurture and grow what you bring to my mind.

I am aware,

Not you want to nurture deeper understandings and awareness.

I am not nurturing in me of reactions and false thinking.

I acknowledge the judging in my mind,

It is influencing my understandings.

Now I am aware of it.

Now I will not judge,

I will allow reasoning in mind without judging.

I will allow understanding in mind without judging.

And I will allow awareness without judging.

Very nice, (as I waddle my head from side to side, without judging). Thank you!
