Hi,
I am Jamaluddin.
Welcome to the Insight Talk on How is our wrong judging mind healed through mindfulness.
I would like to share with you an ancient wisdom which I came across in my research into spiritual science.
We are discussing the science behind the transformation of a judging mind into a mindful one.
What is happening in the mind in this transformation?
How do we transform?
How our self-awareness prohibit a judging mind?
How can we improve this transformation?
We all had a judging mind before we all started our effort to heal ourselves with our practices.
Some of you may have healed it already through your regular practices.
Some of you may still be finding.
If you observe,
Before we started meditating and self-reflection,
It was hard for us to hold our minds from judging.
Our minds used to jump into a lot of wrong judgments about people,
About our relationships,
About even ourselves.
And later we used to feel the guilt for it or we used to suffer for the wrong judgments we made.
But now our practices have allowed us to control our minds before it even making the judgments.
Our mindfulness practices have transformed us to be aware when we are about to judge in mind.
So how did it happen?
Now we are controlling our mind before it controls us.
When the mind tries to make a wrong judgment,
We don't allow the mind to judge but we recollect our self-awareness.
This recollection of self-awareness is what saves us from making a wrong judgment.
Through our practices,
We have become skilful in collecting ourselves,
Gathering our awareness.
Now we are completely aware of the working of the mind and how it makes a wrong judgment so we can cut it off before it even starts to judge.
So the next question,
How did this transformation happen?
Through our practices,
We maintained our mind to be secure and calm.
Now when we are making a wrong judgment,
We are forced to break that secureness and calmness in mind.
So now when we break it,
We know we need to be back in that calmness because it is the best for us.
We already are aware about it.
So the next question is,
How is our self-awareness prohibiting the mind from judging?
When we are in control of our self-awareness,
That is you controlling the body,
Mind and awareness.
You are self-aware.
This prohibits the judging mind from accessing the understandings and awareness to make a judgment.
Being self-aware and in control of it allows you to protect your whole being.
It allows you to protect your mind from drifting away in judgment.
It allows you to nurture your spiritual being.
So another question is,
How can we improve this transformation?
Our ability to improve this transformation into the mindfulness from a judging mind depends upon how well we nurture being the controller of the whole being,
The whole spiritual being.
Whoever controls their whole spiritual being,
Their body,
Their mind and their awareness can control and protect their life.
The only way to improve this transformation is to regularly practice and be skillful in being the master controller of your whole spiritual being,
The controller of your body,
Your mind and your awareness.
If you can nurture your spiritual form,
The union of your body,
Mind and awareness,
You will be able to control your whole being.
We have to be the master of our entire being or else it will overcome us.
This is the wisdom I understood from my independent research into the spiritual scripture Quran.
And I hope this wisdom will help you in healing your judging mind and awakening your self-awareness.
