
Yoga Nidrā For The Water Element
A script I wrote with an Amrit inspiration intended to awaken the qualities of the Water element in Chinese Medicine. We begin with Sankalp (intention) then rotation of consciousness with heaviness in the back body and blue light circulation. Mental Nadi Shodhana (alternate nostril breathing) Ajna (third eye) focus. Welcome to your practice of yoga nidra gathering and assembling any props that will give you the opportunity to find ease in body mind blankets are helpful as your body temperature will drop support under the knees,
Head or an eye pillow to shut out any light as your body becomes still in corpse pose toes fall open and feet widen arms widen,
Palms up using the breath to assist the body in finding more ease and stillness inhale watch the breath rise from soles of feet up spine top of head hold exhale out the mouth,
Watch the breath move back down exit out the soles into the spine into the earth receiving any tension and holding do it again,
Inhale gather from soles,
Even gather from palms up spine hold exhale make a sigh sound,
Releasing all tension one more time let go completely and when you're able to let the breath relax,
No effort or control in your breathing just watching the breath breathe you and in your ease of witnessing the natural breath feel the one breath that breathes us all the pulsation of life move through you and let all thoughts dissolve and as the mind's natural tendency is to waver all you have to do is listen to the guidance of my voice and return to listening in your listening process release any need to try in fact release all doing let all doing dissolve into being so present to this experience as it's new,
Alive and in this moment,
This experience that's yours,
Intimate,
Personal and beautiful release all any expectation of how this experience will be all preference of how you want it to be and receive this yoga nidra experience as it is free of distraction distraction is inevitable,
It arises from inside thoughts or sensations,
Distraction can arise from outside sounds,
Movements and distractions are opportunities to release reacting let the distraction be there as you find greater states of rest and ease it's happening now,
Rest and ease feeling your body just feeling the sensations of the body without judging just letting a sensation be there and all of its magnificence to feel and feel the space of your chest soften,
Shoulders soften feel the heart slowly begin to widen,
Open and inside the heart there is a yearning,
An intention so special for this time of year,
New Year's Eve and what statement wants to present itself as a reality in your experience now?
State the phrase I am rather than I will feel this contentment and tranquility in your heart as you repeat your intention,
Your san kalpa to yourself three times and tell the universe spirit to bring you this intention or something better and now visualize yourself having this intention and there's no limitation,
Let the colors be vivid and feel the feeling of receiving the gifts of your intention breathe softly into your heart as you see and feel your intention now,

A little blue light right wrist elbow shoulder hollow of throat touch of light,

Blue light like a star light tip of ring tip of pinky left wrist elbow shoulder hollow of throat,

Star light so relaxed,
Feel center of chest,

Touch of light,
Right hip knee ankle blue light,
Tip of big toe tip of second toe,
Star light tip of third toe tip of fourth,
Tip of fifth right ankle knee hip top of tailbone left hip,
Star light left knee left big toe tip of second toe tip of third touch of light,
Tip of fourth tip of fifth blue light,
Left ankle knee hip top of tailbone navel point,
Blue light center of chest hollow of throat eyebrow center and now feel blue light in the spine sense blue light in the spine whole body relaxed breath so natural,
Watch the breath rise from pelvic floor to the space right below the belly button or the belly button,
Inhale pelvic floor to navel exhale navel pelvic floor continue now exhale navel to the space in between the ribs,
Inhale exhale space between the ribs to navel continue natural breath,
Inhale from the space in between the ribs to the center of the chest exhale center of chest to the space in between the ribs continue inhale chest to throat,
Hollow of throat,
Exhale hollow of throat to chest,
Continue inhale hollow of throat to eyebrow center,
Exhale eyebrow center to throat,
Continue inhale eyebrow center to crown of head,
Exhale crown of head to eyebrow center inhale crown of head to pelvic floor,
Exhale pelvic floor to crown,
Continue inhale crown to eyebrow center,
Exhale eyebrow center to crown inhale crown to hollow of throat,
Exhale hollow of throat to crown excuse me,
I'm going to do this in a few seconds inhale crown to hollow of throat,

Continue inhale throat to heart,
Exhale heart to throat inhale heart to space in between the ribs,
Exhale space between the ribs to heart inhale space between the ribs to navel,
Exhale navel to space between the ribs inhale navel to pelvic floor,
Exhale pelvic floor to navel now inhale from pelvic floor to crown,
Exhale crown to pelvic floor and now release the breath and that technique allow your mind to merge and melt into the presence and enter the sanctuary of silence and bring your inner gaze to the space in between the eyebrows perceiving the space behind the eyes and forehead as a space of infinite potential your imaginative conception beyond all form and see an ocean at night and watch the waves on the surface of the ocean at night watch the ripples of the waves rise and fall and now sense your body laying in corpse pose on the surface of the ocean at night being rocked by the waves of the ocean now the only light of the dark night sky is a thousand of stars,
Thousands and thousands of stars and even with your eyes closed being rocked by the waves of the ocean in a dark night sky you can feel all the millions of stars illuminating your body in fact all those points that we touched earlier begin to shine like the stars even in the spine like the light of the stars is illuminating all those points in your body and then the stars are as if dissolving all form all form of your body dissolves until there's only light illuminated presence of light and in this formless presence of light your star body begins to sink into the dark ocean below the surface of the waves sinking into the dark ocean illuminated by your light body and the further you sink the more still the water becomes the more quiet until there's no sense of above or below or around there is not even any form around you,
You're just light sinking in darkness drop into the deepest state of stillness,
Tranquility and peace in the third eye now your consciousness is in direct communion through your energy body feel all the energies from all the meridians and nadis,
The energy streams from all the chakras and dantians energy centers activated,
Purified and balanced all channels are open and the life force is flowing freely healing the body and calming the mind feel the presence of your spiritual angel guides,
Your family and loved ones,
Your teachers past present future feel the presence of the spirits and other dimensions that surround you and bless you now accept their blessings and grace begin to feel your heart in that place of appreciation and contentment repeat the intention that you created at the beginning of practice,
Same words,
Three times to yourself silently from the space of fullness and infinite possibilities and universe,
Spirit,
God bring me this or something better,
Say those words and now visualize that you have it,
It's so and awaken the feeling of having it,
It's here now and acknowledge as your intention is released that this is your reality now and feel your body lying on the floor,
So receptive,
The cells open like the skin is breathing feel how the air is touching the surface of your skin,
Begin to listen to the sounds in the room around you and sense the walls of the room around you as your senses externalize slowly and your breath deepens,
Awakening your body slow,
Subtle movements in the fingers toes feel free to take a stretch or hug the knees into the chest and keep breathing,
Moving the breath moving the body as you slowly exhale and make your way to the right in a fetal position and you can join me in seated when you're ready,
Take your time and gather your hands at your heart for our closing prayers,
This is a peace prayer and it means this peace prayer it means that universal reality is fullness,
This is fullness from fullness,
Fullness flows when a part of fullness is extracted what remains is still fullness this piece,

Go together on shambh if you feel shambh shambh if you feel shambh if you feel shambh Collecting the hands in prayer to the eyebrow center,
Thumbs meet the eyebrow center and the vibration,
The meaning,
The offering of the sound in our hearts merge as we honor the sacred space and the privilege of practice,
The tradition of yoga.
