
Transparent Communication In Your Biz
In episode 10 of the Biz Alchemy Podcast, Jacquelyn explores the importance of transparent communication in every aspect of your business. You may be surprised to realise what parts of your business you may not have had full transparency in your communication! She chats about the power of transparent communication and authenticity in attracting your ideal clients, and how filters in your throat chakra can inhibit your ability to communicate transparently.

Transparent communication is what I'm going to chat about with you today and how that's related to authenticity and why that is important for you as a female entrepreneur.
So this is actually not what I was going to talk about.
I wrote a newsletter to my tribe last week and I talked about money and how as female entrepreneurs there's this constant drive often externally to keep increasing our prices and how I reached a point last week where I was really sitting with,
Is it in my values to keep increasing my prices or are there money blocks that are stopping me from doing that?
And so I explored that in my newsletter last week and it was a really interesting conversation for me to actually just go through.
To authentically or transparently communicate.
And so I was going to chat about that with you.
And I went for my usual beach walk this morning which has become my Monday morning thing.
I record these on a Monday to come out to you on Tuesday.
And before I started the walk it was like okay that is what I'm going to talk about.
So I sat in the energy of it and started to walk.
And then my mind kept coming back to something I'd had happen this morning which was actually about transparent communication.
It was just a little thing but something wasn't clearly communicated to me.
And although you know it really wasn't a big deal but I had this little knot in my stomach about it and I felt like the energy of the communication just left me feeling slightly uncomfortable.
It felt like the energy had changed around this situation.
Because of that,
Just because something wasn't communicated,
That's it.
And so because I was tuning into that and because I was tuning into that and going that's interesting I feel uncomfortable about this.
And then I started to explore that in my mind and why I felt that way.
And I realized that it was this.
This just lack of communicating just a one small point.
And then my mind sort of went along that path.
And I suddenly went oh my gosh this is actually what I want to talk about today.
I want to talk about transparent communication and how vital this is in our authentic energy and in showing up authentically for our clients.
And so the money,
Story,
Value stuff we'll have to wait for another time.
I'm going to go with this today and trust that this is the perfect time to share this.
So as I was reciting this little podcast in my head as I was walking along the beach,
It was so good.
I came up with such great points and I was like oh yeah I can't wait to share this.
And of course now I'm here in front of the mic I'm like oh what was it?
How was I?
The little sort of trail that I went along it was so good.
And then I thought oh I should take my phone on the beach so I can record.
But I used to do that and I've decided not to do that because I want to have a break from my phone.
So now I leave my phone at home when I go to the beach which means I miss sometimes some awesome photos and when I get these beautiful inspirational ideas there's nothing to record them on.
Yes I could take pen and paper and but you know that I'm walking in my cozzies I've got nowhere to carry it.
So anyway so back to back to today's topic.
The thing is transparent communication is not always encouraged in the patriarchal business model.
Now I'm not saying it didn't happen but a lot of the energy of the patriarchal business model being around sales was about persuasive communication and often that is inauthentic or something is being hidden.
I mean you think how many times you want to find an answer to something before you purchase it or maybe some terms and conditions around it and you've got to go searching for it to find it.
You know stuff is hidden in that model and a part of the new paradigm of business is it's transparent.
What you see is what you get.
Who you see is who you get.
It is completely like the throat chakra is open and clear and there are no filters nothing is held back and that's not the way that many of us have been exposed to when it comes to setting up our businesses or you know or even when we've been in business for some time.
It's not the tools that are often taught they're not you know authentic communication,
Transparent communication I should say is not the tools that is not high up there.
Now it might be talked about and inferred and you know happened to a certain extent but sometimes there's still bits that are hidden.
This is not the new paradigm of business.
The new paradigm of business is transparency.
The new way of us being in life is transparency.
Now that's not the way that many of us were raised.
It's no wonder nearly everyone's throat chakra that I look at has filters,
Has blocks of all the stuff that's been held back over our life.
Oh no I can't express that.
I'm not allowed oh let me sugarcoat that.
You know our throat chakras they tell the story of our lack of transparency not through not desiring to be transparent but through the way that we've been programmed to communicate.
So let's look at some little examples of transparent communication.
It could be as simple as letting your tribe know that your newsletters will be a regular.
And you know often if we're someone who doesn't want to create regular newsletters but we've been told we need to create regular newsletters and this is fitting in with what I talked about in last week's podcast podcast 9 about throwing out the rule book.
We've got this belief we have to have regular newsletters but if that's not who we are if when we show up to write those regular newsletters we are begrudging it where we're just not inspired.
Well that energy is going through in those newsletters so no one's going to open or read those newsletters or if they are they might be people who aren't really aligned with who we are because they're vibrating at the energy of that newsletter that's why they're drawn to it.
You are much better off actually communicating to your tribe.
I don't like regular newsletters I just like to write when I'm inspired so that you get inspired content that you get high vibe content you get authentic content you get authentic me you are much better off communicating that you are happier that is effortless for you whereas trying to create the newsletters every week or whenever you believe it's supposed to be created is effortful.
So there's an example doing something like this podcast same thing you don't have to show up each week at the same time on your podcast as long as you've communicated with your audience that you are just going to show up with your own show up when you feel like showing up or if you want a break that you communicate with them I'm going to have a break of a month now.
It's transparent communication you're not trying to be something that you think you're supposed to be and as a result of that being inauthentic hiding the truth it's about communicating transparently.
If you're putting your prices up you communicate it you'll be transparent about it or making any types of changes in your business changing the hours you work you're really simple things but they're things you can sometimes forget to communicate and for example with the prices you might have someone who's been saving up to have a session with you and then they go to book and suddenly it's 50 bucks more and the energy around that is a bit icky so at least if you've communicated it clearly they know they know and they've adjusted energetically for that there are so many little things and yes I mean I've made mistakes around this I've sent someone a link for a session and they haven't booked for a while I don't know six weeks two months and in that time I had changed the prices and I'd forgotten that I'd sent them a link and they weren't someone who read my newsletters so they didn't know and that was a lesson for me because I thought in future if I send a link I will say you know this price is valid until and give a length of time or I'll make a note somewhere so that when my prices change I can just send them a quick message to let them know my price is about to change so that they can buy then or they're prepared to pay the new price so I've been guilty of that I've done that before and I've learned from that so I'm sure there will be situations for all of us where we've just forgotten it's obviously it's not been a deliberate act of concealing it's just a lesson that we've learned so really interesting for you to think about this to think about where are you not being transparent with your audience in little ways and then that transparency also comes across in what you share for example I just shared with you about a time that I wasn't transparent so I'm not here talking to you about transparent communication saying oh I've got it down pat I am perfect I share everything I make mistakes and that's part of our journey isn't it to to be continuously learning and recalibrating and it's about sharing that with your tribe as well sharing the lows as well as the highs that's transparent communication as opposed to just showing up high vibe all the time everything in life is perfect I mean good for you if it is but hiding those times when you hit the wall and I'm not saying you have to share all about hitting the wall but there are times when it's actually important to share that there are lows as well as the highs even if that low is shared when you're back on the high that is transparent communication your audience gets to know you better your audience understands your true frequency and then you get your ideal audience because they're vibrating with that true frequency in the patriarchal model of business where so much was hidden and we're often a more manipulative I was going to say let's say persuasive language can be used to make sales there are so many filters around the truth in that model that the vibration of energy going out from that person or that business is actually almost inauthentic because it's so filtered so it doesn't come from the true person their energy has been filtered their vibration has been changed and what that means is who you're attracting in may not necessarily be the ideal person for you they are vibrating at the same frequency of the energy being put out it's not that that was necessarily ineffective in getting clients and making money but it certainly would have been ineffective in bringing you joy in bringing you a sense of really owning who you are and sharing up as who you are of being in your truth and you know at this period of time right now and 2021 is going to be huge for this there is so much changing energetically we are being moved into a whole new realm and this realm is about authenticity this realm is about us really embracing all our gifts and this includes the higher frequency of our gifts and what i mean by that is for example my clairvoyance is going to become stronger okay whatever gifts that you have you're going to the next level of those gifts but the only way you will go to the next level of those gifts is to be truer and truer to yourself and transparent communication is you revealing more and more of your truer self to your clients to your audience to your family to your partner to everyone you meet and if you don't do that energetically you're going to start feeling really shut down you're going to be more challenged and however that comes to you it might come physically like it did to me at the end of last year it might come through relationships breaking down there are many different ways depending on your life path that that could come to you but all that is doing is almost breaking you down a little more to bring you more into this truth i didn't mean to get that deep that's just where i went i didn't go there on the beach obviously that's why i didn't take notes so this is obviously about the throat chakra and for female entrepreneurs the throat chakra it's the biggie we are finding our voice we are finding our authentic voice our true voice and one large component of this is overcoming a lot of the witch wound energy i'll talk about that another time but the voices of females have been shut down for such a very very long time and we are not going to be able to do that females have been shut down for such a very very long time and we hold the energy of that of the burnings and and the executions and all of that it's in our psyche and as female entrepreneurs we are transcending that vibration we're clearing that vibration through ourselves and therefore for others and transparent communication is at the core of this can i just say with this looking at the patriarchal model and the you know this new business paradigm that i'm talking about the other thing with speaking truthfully with transparent communication is that it's actually effortless veiling your communication the way it was done in the patriarchal business model takes much more effort it's efforting and that's how you know that you are following an old way of doing things it takes effort the new paradigm is effortless transparent communication is effortless now initially it might feel like it takes more effort because you are creating a new way you're having to let go of old patterns and consciously let go of old patterns to allow the new patterns to be created so there can be a period there where it feels a little bit like there's a bit more effort going into it but when you have embodied that when transparent communication is the way you communicate always in your life it's effortless so your communication with your audience will become effortless truth once you become used to sharing it is effortless and you'll be like oh gosh should have done this a long time ago it just saves so much time because there's no longer miscommunication so having heard all that have a think about where could you be more transparent in your communication think about business first is there some you know some part of business that you're not transparently communicating in could be in your personal life i always find business is a good place to practice though because as you you know improve your abilities within your business as you start to change patterns shift blocks then it makes it easier to translate across into your personal life i always say that our business is our training ground really for to for our personal development uh to then expand across into our personal life it's almost easier to learn some of these lessons in business so yeah think about how you could be more transparent in your communication just as i said it could be just simple little things oh just letting you all know i'm going to take a month's hiatus from facebook i can't wait to say that so just something like that um just so everyone knows it's there it's clear you've been transparent okay simple things and maybe as you go about your business day your business week you'll notice little things and you can start to implement transparency around that as i said it's not that you're being inauthentic or deliberately hiding or holding back in your communication in some way it's really just about remembering to openly communicate everything because that builds trust and trust builds the connection and as i talked about in episode six on connection connection is the female entrepreneur's secret weapon in business and this transparency and communication is what helps build that
