Three Ways Your Solar Plexus Impacts Your Business Success

In episode 97 of the Biz Alchemy podcast, Jacquelyn explores three ways your solar plexus chakra impacts your business success.
She describes the memories and beliefs that she regularly sees in the solar plexus chakra of her clients which hold a denser energy, then shares how those stories can sabotage the success of your business, and what you can do to transmute them.

Hello and welcome to episode 97. We are getting so close to that 100 mark. In fact, I feel like The 90s, You know, Because it's been a little stop start, Hasn't it? So I feel like it's taking Me a while to get through the 90s. My gosh, What are we going to do for 100? Oh, I'll have to think About that one. Anyway, Welcome back. And I'm going to continue with the series today on how Your personal chakras affect your business success. So we are up to the solar plexus. So I'm going to look at three ways that your solar plexus chakra impacts your business. The solar plexus is a huge chakra in female entrepreneurs. And when I say it's a huge Chakra, I mean, It holds many stories and many beliefs that do have an impact on our business. And so much of the work I do with my clients is around the solar plexus chakra. And this is Regardless of whether they're just starting out in business or whether they've got a very Successful business. It's been going for 15 years. They, You know, They've achieved what they Originally set out to achieve. But it's amazing how many times stories still come up in the solar Plexus chakra. So let's get into it. So the solar plexus is the third chakra and yellow or golden is The color of the of the solar plexus. And it sits in the upper abdominal area between the bottom Of the rib cage and your belly button. And the element of fire is associated with the solar Plexus chakra. Now, I've actually recorded many podcast episodes related to the solar plexus Chakra. In episode 25, I did the five common blocks in the solar plexus of your business. And much of what I talked about there is relevant to what I'm talking about today. But I will Mention a couple of other episodes as I'm going through because in those episodes, I've gone Into more depth about what I'm talking about today. So the solar plexus embodies the energies Of self-worth, Of identity, Of personal power, Confidence, Motivation, Action, And boundaries. Yeah, Boundaries, Those things. You know about those? And as entrepreneurs, Self-belief is vital. And this is very much associated with the solar plexus chakra. It is vital. The more confidence we have in our business and ourselves, The more aligned our Actions will be with our goals. So it is so important that we embrace all of who we are, Because in actual fact, This is where our power lies. So the energy of authenticity really comes Through in the solar plexus chakra as well. You know, As you've heard me talk about time and time Again when I'm talking about the new business paradigm, It is all about you being uniquely you. This is the success in the new paradigm that we're entering here on earth. And for those of us who Are really focused on creating a business that's aligned with this new paradigm, It's about being Able to show up authentically, Be yourself, Share your unique gifts, And not try and model your Business on anyone else's business, Because there's only one of you and there's only one Of your business. So anyway, Let's dive a little bit more into this to give a bit more background Around this. So when I'm looking clairvoyantly at solar plexus chakras, The stories and beliefs That I see which tend to change the frequency of vibration of that person's solar plexus Are a lack of direction, Which can show up as sort of just going round and round in circles Or just constantly changing the focus of your business. And this really comes from this lack Of self-trust, This not being in your power, And it sabotages you from taking any action. Now, A second belief that I commonly see, Very commonly see, Is imposter syndrome. And I mean, This is such a big part of the stories that show up in the solar plexus chakra. And this is Particularly evident when you're starting a business. And I mean, It's such a big thing that I did do a whole episode dedicated to this. So imposter syndrome comes about When you're not clear on your identity, When you're feeling disempowered, When you have low Self-worth. It really generates feelings of being a fraud. And of course, This is what happens when We start a business, And particularly if we've never been in a business before. And it can be When you disconnect from your authenticity, That imposter syndrome really becomes a thing. And many Of us are disconnected from our authenticity. Let's face it, We're not really raised to be Authentically ourselves. So another pattern that I often see in the solar plexus is the pattern of Having poor boundaries with others. You're energetically wishy-washy, You're merging your Energy with others. And the thing is, This disempowers them as well as you. And another big Part of this, Which is another very common story, Is people pleasing. Ever done that? And this can Happen a lot in our personal life, As well as when we translate that across into our business. So in the case of people pleasing, You are really putting yourself second. The thing is though, In Putting the other person first, You're actually perceiving what you think their needs are. And This is what often happens with people pleasing. You're looking through your filters as to what Their needs are, And you're trying to meet their needs. And this disempowers them. So this people Pleasing thing is really the ultimate in solar plexus stories. And so very, Very common, Especially In women. And it seems to get exacerbated when we go into business. Now there's another couple of Ways that an overactive solar plexus can show up in your life. So here's where it's overactive. And one is trying to have excessive control over your environment or people. And another one is Manipulating others. And even if that's being done in a sort of a passive aggressive way, It's still very much solar plexus energy where it's overactive. This is really where it goes Into control mode. It's really working in overdrive. But interestingly, It's still the Same stories and beliefs beneath that that cause that. So it still comes down to that lack of self Trust or not being in your power. That's still the driving force of this overactive solar plexus. And as I've already touched on, Another common belief or story in the solar plexus Is a lack of self-confidence. And this is where you're questioning every decision you make And constantly deferring to others. And even though you might have done this in your personal life, You often don't realize how powerful that is and how much you do that until you actually go into Business, Especially if you're uncertain of what you're doing in your business. And then you Realize how much you're doing that. And then the final belief that I'm going to mention today Is invisibility and not wanting to stand out. And again, Lack of self-confidence, Lack of self-worth is very much a part of that, Of that not feeling good enough. And so you'd Rather hide than let the world see that. So do you relate to any of those stories? I think we have A little bit of each of them in all of us because of how we've been raised because of our society. But, You know, Don't beat yourself up about them. Don't beat yourself up about your lack Of self-worth or whatever it is, Because we're here to evolve. OK. And part of the reason you Went into business, As I'll often say, Is so that you so that those that some of those parts of you That you wish to shift into a different vibration, Shall we say, That, You know, The parts that maybe Are hindering the evolution that your soul came here for, Your business highlights that. So just Like, Thank you, Business. Thank you for showing me my lack of self-worth. And, You know, What am I Going to do about this? How am I going to show up? How am I going to what steps will I take to start Transmuting this energy, To start letting go of these stories? Because ultimately, It doesn't Really matter where it came from. It's not about pointing the finger and and, You know, That's why I don't have self-worth and so on. It's about you going inward and being comfortable with all of you, Even those things you perceive as your foibles, Embracing all of you, Because when you can do that, That's what enables you to step into your power. So now I've covered that range, The range of Stories and beliefs that can show up in your solar plexus. Let's have a look at three ways that these Stories can impact your business. So I've touched a bit on it already, But the first one that I will Look at is Comparisonitis. Now I did dedicate a podcast episode to Comparisonitis, So check out Episode 8, The Curse of Comparisonitis, If you want to know more. And I think we've all done a little Bit of this and certainly we've done it when we first started in business, Because you do look Around at what others are doing, Because that's how you learn. But then the problem is, Is when you Start to mimic them and you can't just take the little treasures from the others and adapt it to Your own style, Your own uniqueness, You actually start to mimic them and often on a big scale. And the thing is, If you're not valuing your worthiness to be in your business, It's going to Change your energy, Okay? The energy, If you're mimicking others, It changes the energy you are Putting out. And so it's going to change the energy of the people you attract in. I mean, They're Not going to be suited to you, They're being suited to whatever the energy you're putting out, Which is not fully you, Because you've adopted others energetic traits, If you like, As a part Of your Comparisonitis. So the Comparisonitis does come from a lack of self-worth, A lack of self-trust, Not believing in yourself. As I said, It's like like attracts like, You know, If that's what You're putting out there, That's who you'll attract in. So this is why it's vital to really Move into a place in business where you do trust yourself. Or really, I mean, In your life, Like not Just in your business, In your life, Where you have this self-trust, Where you embrace yourself. Because it's not just in business where it's important to value who you are and value the Gifts that you have. It's in all of life. It's vital that you keep your eyes in your own lane In business and in life. And I know social media can make this really difficult, But it really is Important for you to grow into more of you and allow your business to grow into more of itself. Because Comparisonitis comes as a result of not honouring your uniqueness. And that leads you to expressing yourself inauthentically. And often when you express Yourself inauthentically, You get the glossy website and the glossy social media posts. But it's not always you. It's not necessarily representing you. And then you don't feel worthy Because you know it's not you. And I've seen many websites where it's all gloss and glamour and it Sounds like the person's been in business for 25 years and that they've got this massive list and This massive social media presence and you're like, Oh my god, That's the business I want. But in actual fact, They're just starting out and they've been told to portray themselves this way To attract customers. So what sort of customers are you going to attract in when you're portraying Yourself that way? And yet you don't feel like you. You don't feel true to yourself. You're not being authentic. You're putting on a costume. So it's this Comparisonitis that Actually feeds Impostor Syndrome. Anyway, That's enough on that because you can listen to the Other podcast episode where I'd go into that in a little bit more depth. But that's the first way The story of the solar plexus can impact your business. The second way that those stories can Impact your business is that you're constantly discounting your prices because you're not Energetically aligned to what you're charging. And that can happen because we can be taught, You've got to charge this, You know, And it can be quite a high amount. And we're like, Okay, I want to be a successful business person. I've got to go right in at this level. You've got to Feel worthy of that price, Okay? Because if you're out of alignment energetically with it and then You think, Well, I'm not getting any sales. I'm not any good, You know? And so that actually Makes those stories in your solar plexus even more powerful. It's so important that you are Aligned with the prices you are charging. You are better to start low and feel very aligned with it And then incrementally increase as you expand in your solar plexus evolution, In your personal Evolution, As your vibration shifts and slowly expands. And another way that this can show up Is that you increase your prices, But you don't allow yourself to stretch into that, To just shift The frequency that's aligned with that price. And so what you do is you throw everything except The kitchen sink in with the offer that you're making to try and make yourself feel better about That, About the fact that you've changed your price. So if you're doing that, Catch yourself, Come back to the actual price. Are you aligned with that price? And if not, Drop it a little bit Rather than throw in all these other offers to try and convince people that that price is Worthwhile. So as I mentioned, It's often much easier just to go slowly, Expand slowly, Keep it Incremental because it gives yourself time to catch up energetically with that shift. Now the third story that I commonly see in the solar plexus is the invisibility cloak. Wearing The invisibility cloak, You're scared to put yourself out there. You're scared to fully Claim your gifts. Ultimately, You're afraid to be yourself. And it's not surprising, Is it? Because We're constantly being told that being yourself isn't good enough. That's part of our society. It's a part of our conditioning. It's a part of the programming of the TV, Of the movies, The magazines, The social media. All of it is saying, You're not good enough as you are right Here, Right now. Do this instead. So is it any wonder that we go into business where we're meant To be shining and putting ourselves out there and we just put on the invisibility cloak because it's Like, I'm not good enough. I'm not good enough. Look over there. Look at her. Look at him. They Are. But again, How do you know that? You only know what they're showing in their public persona. So you can see in many ways, All of these different stories I've talked about are tied In to this invisibility cloak, To the imposter syndrome, To this lack of self-worth that can Manifest through your prices. They're all tied in. And it all comes back to those stories and Beliefs that I initially outlined. Now, Don't beat yourself up, Okay? You know, My God, Why is my Self-worth so low? This is about starting to embrace who you are. And you'll find the more You can just show up in business, Revealing a little bit more of yourself, A little bit more Of yourself, Trusting yourself, Knowing that indeed you are worthy of your business because Your business wouldn't have come into your life if you weren't. And also knowing that you're Actually the only person that has the key to success in your business. Others can guide you. They can give you insights. But ultimately, Knowing that you are unique, Your business is unique, And you're the only one that truly knows its path, That truly knows the next step to take. But it's building that trust in yourself. It's knowing that you are worthy to have Success in your business. So it's one step at a time and be yourself. Ultimately, That's what The solar plexus comes down to. Be yourself. It's the I am chakra. And no one else can be you as Well as you can. Until next time, Have an alchemical week in your biz.
