So let's go ahead and begin by just taking a deep breath.
So take a deep breath in through your nose and then exhale and let it go.
Let's try to find a comfortable and quiet space.
So we'll begin this meditation in a comfortable and quiet space.
If you need to shut the door or put something on,
Do not disturb.
Make this place one for you or you will be uninterrupted.
If you're lying down,
Let yourself get comfortable.
And if you're sitting up,
Really let your back be straight.
Let your hands rest gently.
And then let's go ahead and breathe together.
So let's take two deep breaths in through the nose.
Open mouth,
Exhale,
Sigh it out.
Again,
Two deep,
Generous breaths in and open mouth,
Exhale.
And then do this third one all on your own.
And then just let your breath be deep and gentle.
So just allowing yourself to take really deep breaths today in through your nose,
Letting that breath expand,
Allowing your lungs to fill with fresh breath.
And then using those exhales to just start to release any tension and stress.
So we use the in-breath to be a little bit more present.
We use that ex-breath to just release and let go.
And as you allow yourself to breathe deeply here,
Can you feel your eyebrows softening in the space in between the eyebrows?
Letting your jaw detach,
Letting your shoulders relax down a little bit more,
Letting your belly soften,
Your thighs unclench,
Even allowing the skin on the soles of your feet to soften.
So we're using this softening to allow ourselves to be a little bit more still,
A little bit more mindful,
A little bit more present.
And as you start to give yourself more permission to be present,
I want you to start to tap into your power of visualization.
So I want you to start to imagine a future version of you.
And this future version of you is you as your best self,
Where you feel really fulfilled,
Where that person that you aspire to become,
You feel really in alignment with that version of you.
Visualize yourself in vivid detail,
The way you carry yourself,
What your expression looks like,
Feel that confidence,
Sense your future self inner peace.
And maybe there's a goal or a habit that you're working on right now.
And I want you to visualize yourself achieving that goal,
Achieving that habit,
Radiating with happiness and contentment.
So what are those circumstances and surroundings represent in your ideal future?
And whatever it represents,
Let this future self be a symbol of your true potential,
Knowing that you can do and achieve anything you want.
So we're going to affirm that belief.
We're going to affirm our future selves.
So in your mind or out loud,
We're going to repeat five affirmations together.
And I really want these affirmations to ring true in your heart.
So our first affirmation,
I am becoming the best version of myself.
Affirmation number two,
I am confident and capable.
Affirmation number three,
I attract positive opportunities into my life.
Affirmation number four,
I am a source of inspiration for those around me.
Affirmation number five,
I am grateful for all the abundance life has for me.
So just feel the energy and the positivity of those affirmations.
Those affirmations hold the reflection of your potential.
So the more that we can affirm it,
The more we can believe in the truth of those words,
That's where you can realize that version of you is already here.
You possess those qualities that it is not a distant dream,
But a real possibility within your reach.
To bring this meditation to a close,
We'll breathe together once again.
So take an exhale out the nose to prepare and then take two deep breaths in through the nose.
Open mouth,
Exhale,
Sigh it out,
And then take two more of those at your own pace.
Just remember every day you're taking a step closer to that vision and know that that future self is a reality always.
When you're ready,
You can slowly start to wiggle your fingers,
Move your head side to side and gently open up your eyes and know that this meditation has come to an end.
