Hello everyone!
Welcome!
This is your Embracing the Excitement of Your Current Life Situation meditation.
This meditation will help you tap into the wellspring of excitement and positivity that resides within you.
By focusing your attention on the present and finding joy in your current life situations,
This is where you can find that gratitude and enthusiasm.
So let's go ahead and get started!
Start by finding a comfortable seat,
A place where your spine is supported,
Where you're alert but yet relaxed.
And if you haven't already,
Gently close down your eyes if that's comfortable for you.
And take two deep breaths in through the nose.
Open mouth,
Exhale,
Sigh it out.
One more.
Two deep inhales.
Open mouth,
Exhale.
And then just take a couple of deep breaths here.
Inhaling through the nose,
Exhaling out the nose.
Allowing any distractions or any tension to melt away with each exhale you take.
Can you feel the gentle rise and fall of your breath?
Can you feel the support of the ground beneath you?
Can you feel your jaw soften as your eyes relax?
Can you feel your shoulders resting now in the back body?
And just take a moment to listen for any sounds,
The sound of my voice,
The sound of your breath,
Sounds in and outside the room.
Really using your senses to recognize that this moment,
Right now,
Is the only moment that truly exists.
So as you sit here in your meditation,
As you breathe,
I want you to take a moment to reflect on the positive aspects of your current life situation.
So what are you grateful for?
It could be your relationships,
Your accomplishments,
Your opportunities,
Simple pleasures that you enjoy.
As you start to feel this sense of gratitude growing within you,
What are you grateful for?
And then I want you to think about a time that you had so much excitement,
So much enthusiasm.
This could be maybe doing an activity you enjoyed,
Being around people you enjoyed.
And I want you to really connect with that excitement,
That enthusiasm,
Starting to fill your body with a little bit more excitement,
A little bit more enthusiasm,
Knowing that this characteristic is not something that is unattainable.
It's something that can be attained through mindfulness and cultivation.
So recall those few moments from your past where you felt truly excited and accomplished.
This could be a personal achievement,
A rewarding experience,
Or a time that you even overcame a challenge.
Allow these memories to remind you of your capability and capacity for excitement and joy.
And now,
We're going to repeat some affirmations so that we can really connect to the intention of this meditation and to really affirm the reality we want to hold as we move throughout the rest of our day.
So silently or out loud,
I want you to repeat the following affirmations after me.
I am excited about my life and all the possibilities it holds.
I embrace each day with enthusiasm and positivity.
I am grateful for the opportunities that come my way.
My life situation is filled with potential and promise.
Let's do one more round of those affirmations.
I am excited about my life and all the possibilities it holds.
I embrace each day with enthusiasm and positivity.
I am grateful for the opportunities that come my way.
My life situation is filled with potential and promise.
Take a moment to let those words sink in.
And before our meditation comes to an end,
I want you to think about the rest of your day,
No matter what time it is.
And I want you to visualize yourself fully embracing your current life situation with enthusiasm.
See yourself moving through the rest of your week with a bright smile,
Engaging in activities that bring you joy and radiating positive energy to those around you.
Start to bring your awareness back to your breath.
Take two deep inhales through the nose.
Open mouth,
Exhale,
Sigh it out.
Just take a moment here to acknowledge the positive feelings you've cultivated during this meditation,
Even if for a moment.
And know that you do have the power to carry this excitement with you into your daily life.
When you're ready,
You can slowly start to open your eyes.
And thank you so much for dedicating time to nurture your life situation.
