Welcome,

Beautiful soul,

To this practice of reconnecting with your inner child.

I invite you to find a comfortable position,

Whether seated or lying down,

And allow yourself to arrive fully in this moment.

Gently close your eyes or soften your gaze if that feels safer.

Bring your awareness to your breath.

Notice its natural rhythm as it flows in and out.

Without changing it,

Simply observe.

With each inhale,

Invite a sense of calm into your body.

With each exhale,

Allow any tension or heaviness to gently soften.

As you feel ready,

Bring awareness to your heart space.

Imagine a soft,

Warm light glowing at the center of your chest.

This light holds the energy of compassion,

Tenderness,

And safety.

With each breath,

Let this light expand,

Gently filling your entire body with warmth and care.

When you're ready,

I invite you to imagine a safe,

Nurturing space.

A place where you feel completely held and protected.

It could be a meadow,

A cozy room,

Or somewhere from your memories.

Notice the colors,

The textures,

The sounds that surround you here.

Let this space feel just right for you.

As you settle into this space,

Notice a gentle presence approaching your younger self.

This may be a clear image or just a felt sense.

Welcome whatever arises.

See this younger version of you,

Perhaps as a child or a teenager,

Standing before you.

Notice their expression,

Their posture,

The energy they bring.

If it feels right,

Gently greet this part of you with kindness.

Perhaps you offer a soft smile or extend your hand.

Let them know they are welcome here,

Just as they are.

Take a moment to sense how this younger part of you feels.

Is there something they need?

Do they long to be heard,

Seen,

Held?

Without needing to fix or change anything,

Simply listen.

Hold space for their emotions with the same gentleness you would offer a dear friend.

When you are ready,

You might say softly to yourself,

I see you.

I hear you.

I am here for you.

You are so loved.

Notice if your younger self responds.

Perhaps they relax,

Or maybe they stay guarded.

Whatever arises,

Meet with patience and compassion.

There is no rush here.

As you feel ready,

Imagine wrapping this younger part of you in a warm embrace.

Or if that feels like too much,

Simply sit beside them,

Heart open.

Allowing your healing light to flow from your heart into theirs.

Filling them with warmth,

Safety,

And unconditional love.

If there are words you wish to speak to them,

Trust your intuition,

Or simply continue to hold them with presence.

When you feel complete,

Gently thank your younger self for trusting you,

For showing up today.

Let them know they can return to this safe space anytime.

Begin to bring awareness back to your breath.

Feel a gentle rise and fall of your chest.

Sense the surface beneath you.

Wiggle your fingers,

Your toes.

When you are ready,

I invite you to open your eyes and continue carrying this compassion with you.

Thank yourself for showing up,

And thank you for sharing your time and energy with me,

For feeling and healing alongside me.
