The cause of Anxiety directly or indirectly are our thoughts and beliefs, and once we take control over them, we can instantly calm down our mind and body. We do this by speaking the right words, which will rewire our brain to let go off the negative thoughts and beliefs. Join Saqib in this meditation, as he will let you take control of your own mind and body, so that you can enter that deep state of calm.

I welcome you to this meditation.

Today you are going to free yourself from anxiety and you will also learn some techniques that you can use every day to reach the state of calmness and stillness.

I have a request.

I request you to trust yourself because it is you who will bring yourself to that state of calmness and relaxation.

I am just a guide and now that we have met for this meditation,

I want to tell you that I love you.

I believe that there is a connection between us that has brought us to this meditation.

So let's get started.

I will now request you to sit or lie down in a comfortable position.

Just make sure that your back is straight but not too stiff.

Now gradually close your eyes.

Bring your attention to your surroundings,

Your environment and the air around you.

Feel the touch of the air on your skin.

Check if there is any smell in the air.

Feel the weight of your body on the chair,

Mattress or floor and listen to the sounds around you.

Set your sankalpa or intention for bringing yourself to that state of calmness.

Sankalpa is always set in the present tense because if your mind tells your body that it is relaxing right now,

Your body will believe your mind and calm down instantly.

So as I say the words of sankalpa three times,

Place your hand on your chest,

Repeat after me silently,

Feel your heartbeat and feel your body calming down.

Let's start.

You can now place your hand on your chest.

I provide deep rest and relaxation to my mind and my body.

Feel your heartbeat and feel your body calming down.

I provide deep rest and relaxation to my mind and my body.

I provide deep rest and relaxation to my mind and my body.

Feel your heartbeat and feel your body.

And now let's be thankful.

We often get caught up in the daily dramas and forget thanking the universe,

God,

Collective consciousness or whatever we believe in.

We forget to thank not only for the comforts in our life but also for the challenges because it is through the challenges that we learn,

Become strong and grow our consciousness.

I will say a short gratitude prayer now and either you can repeat after me,

Add your own words or just listen to it silently,

It's up to you.

Let's start.

I thank you universe for giving me the opportunity to be born in this life,

In this incarnation,

In this realm and to express my divinity,

Express the love that I am and to create a beautiful universe in this physical realm.

I thank you universe for providing me with this amazing body which will help me express my divinity and love.

I thank you universe for taking care of me since my birth,

Providing me with the people who took care of me,

Nourished me and made me grow into a healthy human being.

For the people who have provided me with the love that I needed and for the people who have been critical of me,

Which has made me understand myself,

Learn from my mistakes,

Become strong and grow my consciousness.

I thank you for surrounding me with so many people which gives me the opportunity to express my divinity and the love within me and to fill the lives of these people with love,

To make their lives better and to help them raise their consciousness.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to transform the lives of others for better.

I thank you universe for the various beautiful moments in my life which have filled me with happiness and elation and also for the challenging situations in my life which have made me learn and grow,

Made me strong,

Raise my consciousness,

Change my unhealthy patterns and have hence helped me in becoming a better human being and fully expressing my divinity in this physical form.

I thank you for giving me this beautiful gift of meditation which has helped me calm down,

Be present in the moment,

To understand my own strengths and weaknesses and to remember my own true nature,

My true self,

The divine form within me.

And finally I thank you universe for giving me the power to create anything I want,

To manifest the life I desire,

To make me understand that I myself am the creator and that I have the power to create a beautiful,

Connected and loving universe in this physical realm.

And now it's time for some oxygen intake which will help the mind and the body calm down further.

Let's take some deep,

Refreshing and cleansing breaths and provide oxygen to the different parts of our body.

I will be breathing with you so you can synchronize your breathing with me if you wish.

As you breathe,

Feel your body relaxing and rejuvenating more and more.

Let's start.

Check if there are any thoughts in your mind right now.

Imagine these thoughts as bubbles,

Like soap bubbles floating in front of you with each thought representing one bubble.

In your imagination,

Pop these bubbles of thought one by one,

Just in your imagination.

And now that you have cleared your mind,

Let's do a quick body scan and bring your body to the final stage of ultimate calmness and rest.

Imagine a ring of bright white light encircling your head.

This ring will soothe and relax each and every muscle in your body,

So feel your head calming down due to this ring.

Now move this ring down from your head to your neck and feel each and every muscle in your face relaxing.

Move this ring down further from your neck till your belly.

You can increase the size of this ring so that it encircles your entire upper body,

Including your arms.

As you move it down,

Feel your chest,

Your arms,

Your back and your belly relaxing.

And now move it from your belly down till your feet and feel each and every part of your lower body relaxing.

Bring your attention back to your surroundings now.

The air on your skin,

The smell in the air,

The weight of your body,

The sounds around you.

And now wiggle your toes and move your fingers.

And gradually open your eyes.

Your mind and body are now relaxed and calm.
