Welcome.
This is Padma Gordon and today I want to offer you a meditation on being true to yourself.
Really,
In order to live a fulfilled life,
We need to be in alignment with ourselves to be true to ourselves.
And this is no small thing because we need to know what it feels like and we need to be committed and realize that we deserve to be true to ourselves,
True to our deepest heart of hearts.
So with that,
I invite you to take some nice deep breaths.
Make yourself comfortable.
Make yourself comfortable.
Let your spine be long.
Let your spine be long and at ease.
And just notice.
Take some time to notice yourself.
And let the breath be easy as it moves up and down,
Expanding,
Letting your chest expand and contract in a way that is easy.
Being in alignment with yourself means finding a sense of ease.
So allowing your breath to invite you into a sense of deep ease.
Breathing,
Breathing into the spaces,
The silence between my words.
Allow the gentle music to support you to soften.
Perhaps you can feel any tension melting away like butter left out in the warmth of the sun,
Letting any tension melt away.
And then turn toward your heart with curiosity.
And offer it a message.
Let this message flow organically,
A message of care and kindness,
A communication that you are here,
That you are present with your own awareness.
And in this way,
The heart becomes even more intimate with itself.
And this,
Deep friends,
This,
This is what we are aligning with.
The heart aligns with itself.
This is a practice which invites devotion,
Consistent devotion of the heart to itself.
And perhaps you know that where you put your attention grows.
So resting your attention in your heart and sensing what it's like to rest here,
To align with your deepest heart.
And there may be thoughts that come in,
Fears,
Resistance.
And perhaps just for right now,
You can turn toward those resistances or fears,
Places or parts that somehow feel undeserving or unworthy of living in this deep alignment.
And you can ask them to settle,
To be silent so that you can bring all of your attention to your own heart.
Breathing and settling.
And maybe you can notice that we are here together in the vastness of meditation.
And you can trust that I'm here.
I'm holding the space for you so that you can dive deep,
Dive deep inside into the depths of your own heart.
As the deeper you go,
The more you can rest and stabilize.
So let's take a moment together to rest and stabilize,
Allowing yourself to float down and down.
So relax start CC clear,
I that's spent three minutes and I will wait tillint for you to Gently bringing yourself back if any distractions arise.
And rest,
Sweet friends,
Rest deeply in your heart.
Trust your experience.
Rest your experience.
Breathing and letting everything sink in to the next level.
Recognizing that the deeper you align with your own heart,
The more you are able to be true to yourself,
The easier it will be to navigate your life and the world as it is.
I invite you,
Beautiful friends,
To return to this practice again and again,
To stabilize,
Deepen,
Explore.
This is your inner compass,
The wisdom of your own heart.
Take a moment and bow in,
Bow in to your own heart,
Saying thank you,
Thank you,
Thank you.
And then bringing yourself back,
Maybe wiggling the fingers and the toes,
Taking a nice stretch.
And as you're ready,
Allowing the eyes to softly open and feel how you are freshly aligned with your own heart.
I send my blessings to you from heart to heart.
Thank you for practicing.
