Where is the balance of how to watch the news, have meaningful conversations with others, be spiritual yet speak our minds without being angry or needing to be right? CHANTING is a powerful tool to rid any negativity and create the oneness we so desperately crave right now.

Namaste.

Welcome to In The Flow with Lori Albert.

I'm in a rare mood today.

Well,

I shouldn't say rare.

I'm in a funky,

Funny,

Silly place today,

Right?

Well,

Okay,

So lots to tell you,

Lots to talk about.

You know,

Lately I've been consumed with this whole thing of where is the balance between being a spiritual being,

Okay,

Speaking your peace,

Speaking your truth,

Living your truth,

Being your truth,

Okay,

And that middle ground,

Having conversations.

Do you know what I mean?

Like where is that middle ground?

Because we don't want to get to that place of upset.

Do you know what I'm saying?

Like it's not a fun place to be in that place of upset,

Right?

Or that place of,

You know,

Judgment,

Right?

Found myself there yesterday,

You know,

And here I am.

And you know what?

And I,

The reason why I'm talking about this,

Because I know I'm not alone.

I know I'm not alone in this,

Right?

Because we are human beings,

Right?

We're spiritual beings having a human experience.

And so that's the thing that,

I love Wayne Dyer,

Isn't he great?

But anyway,

I mean it's like it makes me feel better,

Right?

So I had this experience yesterday where somebody that I have known for probably 40 years,

And I'm not exaggerating actually when I say that,

It's been like 40 years,

Maybe even more.

And I love this person so much.

We see things completely differently.

And I went off.

Oh my god,

That's so not me,

First of all.

Well it is me a little bit,

But you know,

So anyway,

Bottom line is,

Is that I learned and my whole thing is about finding the balance.

Finding the balance between,

Between speaking and living my truth and having meaningful conversations,

You know.

I found myself,

Okay,

In this conversation which was not me,

Right?

I was very,

Being very judgmental and I was being very unapologetic and all of that.

And you know what?

And I have to keep saying to myself,

I am a spiritual being having a human experience,

Blah blah blah.

But I apologized because that's not who I am.

I think that we should all accept each other for who we are and who,

Whoever,

Whatever they think,

It's,

It's their choice.

Because if you go to the place of we are spiritual beings having a human experience,

We're all having human experiences and we're all having different human experiences.

And that's just the way it goes.

So my human experience is gonna be different than your human experience,

If that makes sense.

So how can I be judgmental?

And wow,

Yeah,

It was,

It was a big like sort of aha moment for me.

No,

In a sense an aha moment.

Like,

You know,

Because that's not me.

I don't like to be judgmental.

I don't like to be somebody who,

Who isn't just loving.

I want to be that loving person that accepts everybody and that loves everybody.

I try so hard and yeah,

So you know what,

We're just doing the best we can.

That's the bottom line to this.

We're gonna screw up.

We're humans.

Humans screw up.

So anyway,

The best way to sort of me to move along with this,

Oh my gosh,

You guys are gonna love this,

The chant today that we are gonna do.

We're gonna chant again and I'm just praying that my voice doesn't like conk out like I did before.

It's so embarrassing,

Won't it?

But that,

Maybe that's like a karma thing.

You know,

I wasn't very nice to somebody yesterday so,

So today my voice is gonna conk out.

So okay,

So I got my Malabes.

All right,

We're gonna do this 108 times and this is what we're gonna do.

This is a new one that I,

That I'm introducing to you guys.

A lot of you probably already know this,

But you know,

I try to keep in the flow as beginner friendly as possible,

Right?

So here we go.

All right,

So the chant that we're gonna do today is Om Nama Shivaya.

It's such a fantastic,

Such a fantastic chant because,

Okay,

So what it really means literally is it's an adoration,

It's in adoration,

What is it?

In adoration to Lord Shiva,

Okay?

And that's the Hindu God,

Okay?

Now more contemporarily,

Is that even a word?

I don't know,

But more contemporary to say,

Um,

Om Nama Shivaya has taken on like a new,

I don't say new,

But an expanded meaning,

Okay?

And that's really about the expansion of the oneness within,

Okay?

And what this chant does is it fills you with positivity,

Right?

Positive vibrations and it helps to get rid of negative vibrations,

Right?

Don't we need that today?

I think so,

Or at least I do anyway.

It also helps to relieve stress,

It helps us to,

You know,

Just,

Just get back to who we are and find that oneness within again,

Right?

So we're gonna chant this 108 times,

You guys ready?

Okay,

So we're gonna do it like sing-songy because that's kind of how most people do it and,

Um,

And you guys know I love to do it that way,

So.

Okay,

So this is how we're gonna do it.

I'm not starting yet,

But Om Nama Shivaya,

Om Nama Shivaya,

Om Nama Shivaya,

Om Nama Shivaya,

Okay?

So Om Nama Shivaya,

Okay?

So if you're not familiar with it,

That's the way it is.

It's Om Nama Shivaya,

Okay?

And and there we have it.

Okay,

So are we ready to start?

I should probably take a drink,

You know.

Well,

I'm nothing if I'm not real on on this in this format here.

Um,

Okay,

Are we ready to start?

Okay,

So let's get ourselves comfortable.

Close your eyes.

Let's take a nice deep breath in,

Breathing in positivity,

And breathe out all the negativity,

Negative emotions,

Fear.

Breathe it all out.

Let's do that again.

Breathing in positive energy,

And out stagnant,

Stagnant,

Oh my god,

Stagnant,

And negative energy.

Getting rid of all of that.

Perfect.

So as we get ready to begin,

Let's relax our bodies.

You can chant this out loud with me.

You can chant it in your head,

Sitting quietly,

And let's begin.

Om Nama Shivaya.

Om Namasivaya,

Om Namasivaya,

Om Namasivaya,

Om Namah Shivaya.

Rail friend Om Namah Shivaya.

Om Na Ma Si Va Ya Om Na Ma Si Va Ya Om Namah Shivaya Om Namah Shivaya Om Namah Shivaya Om Namah Shivaya Om Namah Shivaya Om Namah Shivaya Om Namah Shivaya Om Namah Shivaya Om Namah Shivaya Om Namah Shivaya Om Namah Shivaya Om Namah Shivaya Om Namah Shivaya Om Namah Shivaya Om Namah Shivaya Om Namah Shivaya Om Namah Shivaya Om Namah Shivaya Om Namah Shivaya Om Namah Shivaya Om Namah Shivaya Om Namah Shivaya Om Namah Shivaya Om Namah Shivaya Om Namah Shivaya Om Namah Shivaya Om Namah Shivaya Om Namah Shivaya Om Namah Shivaya Om Namah Shivaya Om Namah Shivaya Om Namah Shivaya Om Namah Shivaya Let's take a deep breath in and release.

When you feel comfortable,

You can open your eyes.

Perfect.

Very good.

Awesome.

Om Namah Shivaya.

So if you find yourself needing to be in a better place of positivity,

Just repeat that over and over again.

Om Namah Shivaya.

Adoration to Lord Shiva and how we can bring more positivity into our being.

Be positivity.

So thank you for listening.

Thank you as all for supporting me as a human being.

I love you all.

And until next time,

Namaste everybody.
