Thank you my inside timer family for joining me for this meditation.
Today we will have no bells,
No chimes,
No music.
Just me,
You,
And your inner voice.
As we journey through not just surviving a crisis,
But thriving after a crisis by asking these three questions and allowing our inner voice to answer,
What have I lost?
What have I gained?
What would I like to maintain?
And over the next few minutes,
We'll take time to allow the inner voice to give us insight.
Now is your journey with me.
Take a deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.
Again,
In through your nose,
Out through your mouth.
One more time,
In through your nose,
And out through your mouth.
Keep going,
Let all the air out.
Great.
Now just breathe normally and naturally,
Sending each inhale down to your belly,
All the way down and exhaling normally and naturally.
Easy.
Allowing your body to begin to relax,
Become more peaceful,
More calm.
Just imagine from your head to your toe,
Each part of your body beginning to relax even more.
You can begin to repeat a mantra to yourself and let's choose the mantra,
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Allowing the mantra to get more quiet,
Lower and lower.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Then just say it to yourself.
Thank you.
As you begin to get lost in thought,
Allowing the mantra to get more quiet.
Thank you.
Thank you.
As you begin to ask yourself your inner voice,
These three questions,
Giving yourself time to hear your inner voice answer.
What have I lost?
How much joy did I lose?
And as you contemplate the answer to the question,
What have I lost?
Decide whether these were things you would like to have lost,
Things you'd like to release,
Leave behind.
Some of them will be.
Some of them won't be.
And then you can decide if you'd like to pick them back up and regain them.
And you should begin to ask yourself the question,
What have I gained?
What have I gained?
Allow your inner voice to answer,
To give you insight.
What have I gained?
What have I gained?
What have I gained?
And as you contemplate,
What have I gained?
Begin to decide,
Were these things I wanted in my life,
Are these things for my best and highest good?
Is there anything I would like to let go of?
How will I maintain what I've gained?
That brings us to our last question.
How will I maintain?
Some of the things you've lost,
You'll need to create distance between you and that thing.
If it no longer serves you,
Or the greater good of the world.
Some of the things you've gained,
You'll want to solidify your relationship with those things.
And there are other things that you realized that were in your life that you want to keep in your life,
Because they are for your best and highest good.
You appreciate these things.
So now allow your inner voice to give you insight on how you maintain.
How do I maintain?
Then now that you've asked yourself,
What have I lost?
What have I gained?
And how can I maintain?
Continue to ask yourself these questions and allow your inner voice to answer them.
You can use this process in any crisis you ever go through.
May you have peace.
May you have joy.
May you explore all the possibilities before you.
May you release the fear that stops you.
May you embrace the peace right before you.
May you feel grateful for this present moment.
May I feel peace.
May I feel joy.
May I feel gratitude.
Wouldn't it be wonderful to find peace?
Wouldn't it be wonderful to find joy?
Wouldn't it feel wonderful to feel grateful?
I am at peace.
I am at peace.
I am at peace.
And so it is.
It is so.
Just be at peace as you allow your inner voice to speak to you.
And when you are ready,
You can open your eyes and go about your day at peace.
And when you are ready,
You can open your eyes and go about your day at peace.
And when you are ready,
You can open your eyes and go about your day at peace.
