Hi,
My name is Jordana.
In this meditation,
We'll source wisdom from within in order to take action from a place of deep knowing,
Action from the heart.
Often in times of uncertainty,
We can freeze and not know how to act.
Through the practice of meditation,
We can slow down.
We can listen.
We can tune into our wisest self.
The wise self is the knowledge of who you deeply are beneath the surface definitions and stories of your life.
It's a knowledge of who you are and what you are part of beyond what can be cognized.
Many refer to this as the connection to source,
Universe,
Divine,
To the infinite nature which we are all part of,
Born from,
And return to in this cycle of life.
An accessible way to look at this is to take our thoughts for an example.
Every day,
We have over 65,
000 thoughts.
95% of them are repeats.
These are the surface level thoughts.
In meditation,
We can dive beneath the surface of our thoughts to the space between our thoughts.
It is here that there is an access point to wisdom.
This is the space of the 5% and this is the space from where we can touch the interconnectedness of all things.
From here,
Acting from inner wisdom comes naturally.
We'll begin by tuning in and exploring the source present in our breathing.
Find your comfortable position.
Allow your spine to lengthen upwards and soften through your jaw.
Let the shoulders relax and the belly soft.
Take a deep breath.
Let it go.
I'd like you to see your breath flowing into your body and meeting you at the heart.
As you breathe out,
Seeing the breath and travel from your heart.
As you breathe,
Connecting awareness to breath and to your heart space.
Breathing in to the center of your chest and breathing out from the heart.
As you do this practice of watching the breath flow towards the heart and watching the breath flow out from the heart,
The surface level thoughts will arise and you'll probably recognize them as something you've thought of before.
You can simply wrap those thoughts in the energy of compassion.
And as you breathe out from the heart,
Let go of your grip on that surface level thought.
Come back to your breath.
And so here we've made space for something deeper.
For some insight.
And so as you breathe in towards the heart,
We inquire.
If your heart could speak,
What would it say?
If your mind could speak,
What would it say?
Notice if there is any color that's associated with the words,
The message that comes from your heart.
Maybe there's a light or a texture.
Begin to make a 360 experience of this wisdom that goes beyond the words.
And so as you breathe in towards the heart,
Let go of your grip on that surface level thought.
Maybe there's even a taste that you can sense now.
What would the taste of the heart be like on your palate?
The words of your heart.
The colors associated,
The textures.
The taste and maybe even a sensation.
As you breathe into the heart,
Take all of this in.
And as you breathe out from the heart,
Distribute this wisdom through every moving cell in your body.
Let it travel up to your head,
To your crown.
Let it travel down to your belly,
Your hips,
Your legs,
To your toes.
Let it travel out from your shoulders to your elbows,
Your hands and your fingers.
While you are breathing in,
All of the wisdom that comes in the words or in the sensations,
The visualizations,
This wisdom of you.
Let the dis degression fly by itself.
With this wisdom,
Both verbal and nonverbal,
We'll just do an inquiry to see if there is any action that is arising in your consciousness.
Something that your heart wants you to do in your world,
In your life.
What could that be?
Without forcing any answers,
Remain open to listening and exploring.
What comes up?
What are you uniquely skilled at?
That you can take action on,
Even in the face of the uncertainty you experience.
What comes up?
What comes up?
Take a moment to create an intention with the seeds of what you have uncovered here.
That you can move forward in a skillful way to be of service from a place of inner wisdom and knowing.
And to be in energy of benefit to yourself and all who you encounter.
Take a deep breath.
Let it go with a sigh.
You might even nod your head yes,
Right here.
Because within,
You know,
You absolutely can.
Take one more deep breath.
Let it go.
Bring your eyes to open again.
Thanks for going deep with me today.
I always love meditating with you.
Drop a note in the comments and I'll see you soon.
