So we're working into a meditation that asks us to look within.

That asks us to find pieces of ourselves.

I'm going to ask you to lay down for this particular meditation.

Making certain that you're comfortable.

Finding a cool space on an even floor.

If you're needing a pillow under your legs.

Otherwise,

Allowing the full body to be felt against the floor.

From the heels,

Running up to the hips.

Running up through the spine,

Down the arms,

To the hands.

Back of the hand against the floor.

Chin tilted slightly forward.

Taking a nice deep breath in and allowing a long breath out.

Allowing yourself to relax but to remain aware of the body.

So we can find any space of discomfort.

Any places of pain.

Any pieces of the body that may be holding onto past anger,

Hurt,

Memories.

Taking a nice deep breath in and breathing out with a long sigh to release.

Take a moment to just feel the breath.

Feel the rise and fall of the chest.

Taking a nice deep breath in.

Breath out to release.

The next breath in comes down to the feet.

Filling the feet with breath.

As you breathe out,

Releasing the feet,

Allowing them to soften.

Breathing into the legs.

And filling the legs with breath.

And releasing the legs as you breathe out,

Allowing them to soften.

Breathing into the hips now.

Opening,

Allowing that breath in.

And breathing out to release.

We breathe now to the stomach,

Filling the stomach with breath.

And as we release,

Allowing the stomach to come down through the spine.

All breath releasing.

And taking in breath now to the chest.

Filling the chest,

Allowing the shoulders to soften back.

Arms can loosen,

Fingers open.

Breathing it in and breathing it out to release.

Soften your throat,

A gentle swallow.

Soften the face and breathe to the mind.

As you're releasing breath,

Release thoughts and allow your mind to settle.

Taking a nice long deep breath in,

Drawing from the feet all the way through the body up to the crown of the head.

And releasing and allowing that breath to take all tension,

Stress and worry from the body.

Take a moment to focus on that long breath to soften the body.

As you feel your body release and relax.

As you feel your body release and relax.

As you feel your body soften,

You allow yourself to let go.

Gently focusing on the breath.

Bring your mind to your beautiful path and begin to walk along the path.

Create your day,

Allow yourself to feel at ease,

To feel calm.

All things are in place along your path.

Ahead on the left you can see the great old door to your sacred space.

Can we enter and gently close and lock the door behind knowing that we are safe and secure within our sacred space.

Allowing yourself a moment within your sacred space to explore your beautiful cottage garden.

To tend to the flowers,

To take in the scent and the colours.

Breathing it in and breathing it out to release.

Looking around,

You're going to walk gently down the hill and on the right to your beautiful gazebo where your journal can be found.

Take a seat and allow yourself to get comfortable.

Possibly even laying on the beautiful benches.

Take a deep breath in and a long breath out and allow yourself to sit for just a moment and look around.

Now I want you to open your book and just leave it open next to you with your pen ready.

And I want you to allow yourself to breathe,

To go within.

And I want you to ask yourself is there anger within you?

Is there a sense of yourself being angry?

Is there a sense of self-confidence?

Now let's move on from anger.

And let's move to fear.

Is there fear within you?

How does this fear make you feel?

Does it bring you to a darkness?

Does it hide you in a corner?

Does it stop you reaching out?

What is your body doing now?

When you think of anger or fear does your body respond?

Does your heart,

Does your breath?

Where do you feel it?

Can you feel any darkness within you?

Any sadness from being unheard or feeling unloved?

Did you feel abandoned,

Left behind?

Do these moments bring an anger?

Do they bring a suffering?

Do they bring pain?

How is the body feeling?

How is the body reacting right now?

How is the body reacting right now?

How is the body reacting right now?

Take a nice deep breath in and allow a long breath out.

Know you are loved,

Know you are supported,

Know you are safe.

Start to slowly peel back into the secret spaces you've locked away.

In the mind,

In the body,

In the heart.

I'm not asking you to deal with each of them right now,

But to see,

To feel,

To know their existence.

I'm asking you to be aware of their existence.

I'm asking you to be aware of their existence.

I'm asking you to be aware of their existence.

I'm asking you to be aware of their existence.

I'm asking you to be aware of their existence.

I'm asking you to be aware of their existence.

Take a nice breath in.

Breathing it out.

Just a laser to sit up in your gazebo.

And if there's anything to start to write,

Just feel yourself releasing and writing things down that you know you can come back to.

I'm asking you to be aware of their existence.

I'm asking you to be aware of their existence.

I'm asking you to be aware of their existence.

I'm asking you to be aware of their existence.

When you're done writing,

Place the book down and allow yourself to just walk out of the gazebo and sit perhaps on the grass and just take in the beautiful things that you've done.

Take in this beautiful sacred space you've created.

I'm asking you to be aware of their existence.

I'm asking you to be aware of their existence.

I'm asking you to be aware of their existence.

Take a nice deep breath in.

Allow yourself to breathe out.

You've recognised some of the pieces of you that have been hiding.

Maybe some of the hurt pieces of you.

Being aware of these now,

You can deal with them one by one,

Working each piece to release.

For now allow yourself to stand and walk back towards your cottage garden.

Allow yourself to connect to the beautiful flowers,

To touch,

To stop and smell,

To admire.

And walking through,

Making your way to the beautiful great door.

Stepping through,

Gently closing and locking behind you and making your way down your path.

Take a deep breath in.

As you're making your way down the path making your way slowly back into the body and breathing and feeling the connection of breath in the body running through the body.

Use your breath to clear any tension or pain.

Allow your body to stay soft.

You're aware,

You're aware now of all the things you've been holding and hiding within but we're not allowing them to stay within the body.

Breathing it in,

Breathing it out,

Allowing the body to stay soft and released.

So taking a nice deep breath in releasing with a long breath out.

Breathe down to the feet and draw that breath all the way up through the body.

Feel the breath connect to the breath.

As you're feeling that breath through the body,

Just gently moving the toes,

Feeling into the legs and the hips,

Feeling through the spine,

Raising the chest,

Gently moving the arms,

Wiggling the fingers,

Allow your head to turn from side to side.

Take your arms up above your head,

Clasp your hands and stretch and reach out.

Slowly at your own pace,

Opening your eyes and bringing yourself back to where we are.

Focusing on the breath for just a moment more,

Making certain that if there's anything you need to write to release it,

If you need support in reaching out,

Make certain you do.

Know you're not alone,

Know you are supported and loved.

The last of some time of the next little bit to nourish yourself,

To be gentle,

To be kind and to be aware.

I truly honor the journey that you are on.
