Hey and welcome to this easy decisions meditation.
I'm Isaiah Bell.
This is a meditation that you can use to tune into your intuition whenever you need to make an important decision or make a choice about something.
Let's begin.
Make yourself comfortable sitting,
Lying down,
Preferably with your feet on the ground and crossing your arms and legs.
Close your eyes,
Take a deep breath.
Take the time to find the position that will allow your whole body and mind to relax.
Start by inhaling deeply and slowly through your nose,
Bringing the air deep into your belly and letting it swell.
Exhale now through the mouth,
Slowly and deeply,
Letting the air flow and entering into relaxation.
Breathe in.
Imagine that the fresh air completely fills your body,
From the top of your head to your toes and to the tips of your fingers and breathe out.
Imagine letting go of everything you don't need,
All the debris that clutters you.
Breathe in through your nose,
Fill your stomach and chest with air.
Breathe out through your mouth,
Pay attention to your legs and relax along your thighs,
Knees,
Calves,
Ankles,
Feet,
Toes.
Breathe in slowly and deeply,
Breathe out.
Know to your back,
Your neck,
Your spine.
Let your back stretch and your shoulders drop.
Relax your muscles,
The weight goes off and your body softens.
Breathe in through your nose,
Slowly and deeply,
Breathe out through your mouth.
Relax your bust,
Your chest,
Your stomach.
Inhale,
Exhale and relax the muscles of your shoulders,
Your arms,
Your elbows,
Your wrists,
Your hands,
Your fingers.
Breathe in through your nose,
Breathe out through your mouth.
Feel the relaxation in your head,
Your face,
Your forehead,
Your eyes,
Your nose,
Your ears,
Your cheeks,
Your jaw,
Your ears,
Your skull,
Your hair.
Breathe in,
The air completely renews you.
All parts of your body are now filled with fresh and delicious energy.
Breathe out,
The air that comes out removes all the tensions,
All the worries and all the unwanted thoughts.
You now feel calm and relaxed,
Breathing slowly,
Breathing deeply and with each breath you move further towards the calm center of yourself and deep relaxation settles throughout your body and mind.
Welcome this well-being and relax even more.
Visualize now roots growing below your feet and around your legs and also starting from your tailbone,
Beautiful powerful roots that go deep into mother earth which allow you to feel grounded.
They hold you in place and grow through the soil and the different layers of the earth and descend towards the center of the planet.
They keep you firmly anchored,
Rooted and secure.
Your roots continue to grow even deeper until finally reaching the heart of the planet.
You feel when you have reached the center of Gaia,
Of mother earth because you feel bathed in a flow of unconditional love.
All the love that the earth has for you,
This energy,
This love that now comes back up through your roots and slowly rises to fill your whole being,
Your whole body.
This warmth,
This amber coppery colored light that is the earth's love for you fills your body starting with the feet and working its way up your legs,
The spine,
Through your arms and hands,
Then moving up towards your head,
Completely encompassing every cell in your body and you feel an immense sense of security,
Stability and trust.
You feel strong,
Loved,
Centered,
Full of a sense of belonging because you know that you have your place here on this earth,
In this universe.
I invite you now to use these grounding roots to let go of the thoughts,
Emotions and energies that are not important in this moment,
That are from the past or about the future and also to let go of the energies,
Emotions,
Thoughts,
Opinions of other people.
If you still feel other people's energy in your energy field,
You can just allow it to flow out of you,
Out of your field,
Into the earth for grounding.
I invite you now to visualize yourself sitting quietly in a garden in your mind.
Breathe in and out and begin to observe life as a continuous stream of decision.
Become aware of how and where you get stuck with indecision,
Too much going on,
Too much in your mind.
Just allow your mind to rest now,
To rest from thinking and for a moment enjoy that garden,
The colors,
The light,
The fragrance.
Let your mind breathe deeply,
Breathe in the fresh air.
Let's create space for clear thinking.
Let's allow the mind to flow in its natural rhythm.
Slowly step into the quiet space behind your mind,
Becoming quiet and calm,
Allowing your inner confidence to emerge like flowers in the garden.
Let your confidence bloom.
Connect now with your heart.
Focus your attention on your heart in this moment and imagine that there is a light in your heart center and allow that light to grow.
Allow it to radiate outwards from your entire chest and then keep expanding.
You can make it so big that you are completely surrounded and completely filled with this heart energy.
It's a very bright,
Beautiful light and it's the essence of who you are.
You can tune now into your intuition in your head,
In your heart.
Ask your intuition for clarity and guidance and then bring to mind a situation where you have to make a choice or a decision and just think about the options you have and for now I recommend that you bring those options back to only two.
So you have option A and then option B and we're going to play.
We're going to pretend that you have already made the decision,
That you have chosen option A.
It doesn't matter which one you take first and say it in your head or out loud.
I choose to an option A.
Observe now what happens in your body,
In your mind,
In your emotions as you do that.
Maybe there's tightness somewhere.
Maybe it feels open and expensive.
Maybe you feel joy.
Maybe you feel sad.
Maybe you feel anxious and if you do feel anxious,
See if there is a layer underneath that anxiety that is either peaceful or not peaceful and just observe without judgment what is going on and we're just pretending you haven't made the decision yet.
We are just pretending that you have and when you have felt and observed your body,
Your thoughts,
Your emotions,
Let that go.
Take a deep breath.
Come back now to your center.
Let go of any emotions or anything that you have felt in this part of the exercise and just for this moment be here now.
Be back in your garden.
Feel your body.
Feel your breath.
Feel your grounding.
If there's any emotion left,
You can drop it through your grounding roots into the earth so that you are completely empty and clear again.
See if you can drop into your stillness a little more.
Your garden,
Your center,
Your peace.
We are going now to tune in to the other option.
So say it out loud or in your head.
I choose option B and then this other option that you have and again observe what happens in your body,
In your mind and your emotions as you say it.
Always observe without judgment.
See if there's any tension in your body.
See if there's an open feeling and again if there's any anxiety,
See if underneath that anxiety is a layer of either peace or another layer of discomfort and just observe.
Be present with what is.
Feel your body from your head to your toes and everything in between and if there is any question that you would like to ask your intuition in this moment,
You can and then if you do,
Be open to the answers that can come in images and thoughts and emotions and feeling.
Trust that you know.
Just be very open to how the answers present themselves and then say thank you and slowly come back to the garden.
I invite you now to breathe in confidence and to breathe out confidence.
You have now attained clarity in your capacity to make decisions confidently.
It is soon time to slowly,
Gradually return to your usual state of mindfulness and you gradually feel drawn back to the here and now.
As we end this meditation,
Take a deep breath and when you feel ready,
Allow yourself to come back slowly.
Come back into the room,
Feel the texture of the clothes on your skin,
The weight of your body on the chair or bed.
Back in your space,
You become aware of the sounds around you and you start to move your body.
Gently wiggle your fingers and toes,
Stretch out if it's good for you.
When you feel it,
Gently open your eyes,
Smile and go peacefully into the world to create an experience of joy and peace.
Don't forget to drink to ground the energy and if you wish,
Eat something to anchor those energies in your body right now.
Usually,
You've gotten a very clear answer to the choices that you can make and which choice feels better.
Sometimes when there's anxiety,
It can still be the right decision but you have to tune into the layer beneath the anxiety.
So if there's a layer of peace,
A feeling of all is well,
A stillness beyond that anxiety,
Then it's probably still the best decision for you at this moment.
It's just also an invitation to do your inner work and to work with that anxiety to see what it is and why you feel that way and sometimes it's not.
Sometimes it all just feels negative and there's no sense that this is the right decision and then obviously it isn't the right decision for you at this time.
Usually,
It's very clear.
Usually,
There's a choice that feels open and expensive and warm which is your intuitive yes and then there's one that feels very tight.
Sometimes the answers are not very clear and it might be a timing thing.
So if it wasn't clear,
Just ask yourself if this was the right timing to make this decision or to tune in.
