Welcome to my peaceful universe.
Thank you for joining me in this practice today.
The purpose of this meditation is to help you shift from a state of stress to a state of calm.
When practiced daily it will help you to cultivate stillness and deepen your ability to be present with whatever is happening in your life.
Find a quiet place to sit or lay and gently rest your hands on your lap or by your sides.
Gently allow your eyes to close or soften your gaze.
Whichever feels most comfortable for you in this moment.
Begin by taking a long slow deep breath in and slowly exhale feeling any tension that you're holding in your body melting away.
Take another long slow deep breath in and slowly exhale feeling your body becoming heavier and heavier and drifting into a deep state of relaxation.
Allow your breathing to return to its own natural rhythm now.
Like waves ebbing and flowing in the ocean.
As you quietly rest here picture a waterfall of golden light radiating from the top of your head flowing down all the way into your toes.
As this beautiful light washes over you,
You feel protected and safe and you feel so so peaceful.
In this moment give yourself permission to rest.
In this moment give yourself permission to soak in the stillness.
In this moment give yourself permission to simply be.
There's nothing else you need to do right now other than resting here paying attention to your breathing.
It doesn't matter if your breathing is slow,
Fast,
Deep or shallow.
Allow your body to do what it does naturally.
Breathing in relaxation and breathing out tension.
Notice how effortless it is to do this.
You'll notice that each time you breathe in your stomach will expand.
And each time you breathe out your stomach will relax.
Simply rest your awareness on the physical sensations of breathing in and breathing out in this moment.
Notice if there's any discomfort in simply being present and doing nothing.
Notice if your mind has become lost in thoughts,
Distracted by past events or running away into the future.
If so,
That's totally okay.
There's no need to judge or push them away.
See if you can welcome whatever is present right now with kindness and acceptance and then gently bring your awareness back to your next breath.
Each time the mind has wandered,
Simply allow the thoughts to be.
Befriending them with a forgiving and loving heart and gently bring your awareness to your next breath.
Give your mind permission to rest now.
Allow your mind to settle and be at peace.
There's nowhere to go,
Nothing to do but to simply rest your awareness on your breath.
There's nothing more sacred or more worthy than this,
Coming home to presence.
There's nothing more healing and soothing than coming home to inner peace.
As you come to the end of this meditation,
Gently take a long deep breath in.
And as you breathe out,
Bring your awareness back into the present.
Notice how calm your mind and body feel now and notice how light and peaceful your heart feels.
Lovingly share your beautiful light and presence into the world in this moment and softly affirm,
Peace,
Peace,
Peace.
Feel all this peace lifting and healing the vibration of the earth and filling every heart with love.
