Sometimes we don't even notice how critical and judgemental we can be towards ourselves. Most of the times we are being too hard on ourselves and this pattern can be hard to break. This Yoga Nidra will help you to approach yourself with a loving, warm awareness so that you can love yourself a little more today. Let me know what you think <3 Love, Isabella

Welcome to this yoga nidra for self-love.

In this nidra I will guide you into a deep state of rest where you will find a space to love yourself a little more today.

No need to do anything,

No place you have to be,

No responsibilities,

Just this moment especially for you.

Take some time to find a super comfortable position for yourself.

You can lay down on your back if that feels okay and make sure you are warm enough by placing a blanket on top of you.

You can also place a soft pillow under your head and if you have a bolster cushion you can place that under your knees.

Give yourself already some love and affection by making yourself as comfortable as you can.

When you found your comfortable position take a moment to place a one hand on your heart and one hand on your lower belly.

Take a deep breath into your nose and sigh it out through your mouth.

Let's do this three more times.

Deep breath in and sigh it out.

Breathing in.

Deep breath in.

Now as you feel your hands touching your heart and belly take a moment to thank yourself here for taking the time and space to focus on some self-care.

Appreciate yourself for slowing down and bringing yourself some extra love and warmth today.

You can repeat after me in your head.

I am grateful for myself for taking the time to love myself a little more today.

I am grateful for myself for taking the time to love myself a little more today.

Know that you are perfect the way you are now.

There is nothing you have to change about yourself.

You are worthy of love no matter what.

You never have to prove that you are deserving of love.

In fact you already are love and light yourself and I will guide you towards that now.

Let's take a moment to really arrive into the position you are in now.

Make some final adjustments so you can be more comfortable than you are now.

You can close your eyes if you haven't done so already and start to take a moment to become aware of your physical body.

You can scan your body here noticing if you feel any tension anywhere and see if you can allow this tension to slowly dissolve into the ground underneath you.

Starting with your toes,

See if you can soften them completely as well as your legs,

Hips,

Belly,

Your whole back and chest,

Shoulders,

Arms,

Fingers and lastly your face.

Allow your mouth to drop slightly open so your jaw fully relaxes.

Soften your eyes gently in your eye sockets by relaxing all those tiny muscles around your eyes.

Relax the eyebrows and the forehead and now feel the whole body relaxing a little deeper into the surface underneath you.

Notice that the gravity of the earth is here to carry you.

It is holding you as a loving hug.

There is no need to hold yourself up.

Remind yourself that you are here to do nothing but just be.

Maybe you notice thoughts running through your mind and my invitation is to allow yourself to let go of any goals,

Any pressure,

Any accomplishments of how you want this practice to be.

Just see how this practice unfolds as it is.

Bring yourself back with a loving awareness to my voice whenever you find yourself distracted and know that it's completely normal to get distracted by the mind.

No need for self-criticism or judging.

Now bring your awareness to the breath without changing anything about the breath and you just notice the breath as it is now.

Remember there is nothing you have to change about yourself,

Not even your breath.

The breath is actually already here for you.

See if you can notice how the breath is breathing you here.

Feel how air enters your nose and flows all the way down to your belly.

Observe the breath as it is now for a moment.

Now let's take three deep breaths together again.

With each out breath you release any thoughts that are holding you back from loving yourself a little more.

Breathe in deeply through the nose and sigh out what doesn't serve you.

Last time deepest breath of today.

Now return to the natural rhythm of your breath and allow it to just be there.

We will make a loving journey of awareness through the body now to guide you into a deeper state of relaxation.

We will slowly move out of the mind into the body.

With your next in-breath you can visualize a warm stream of loving energy flowing towards your heart.

When you breathe out allow this warm loving energy to rest in your heart.

Breathing in loving energy towards your heart and out resting this energy here.

Notice which color the energy has and what it looks like.

Each in-breath you invite this loving energy into your body and each out-breath this energy will fill up your heart a little more.

Now as you feel this warm loving energy in your heart allow it to flow towards the right shoulder,

Right upper arm,

Lower arm,

Wrist,

Palm of your hand,

Back of your hand,

Index finger,

Middle finger,

Ring finger and pinky.

Feel this loving warm energy flowing all the way to the tips of your fingers and notice how this energy flows through the whole right arm.

Now move your awareness back to the heart and from here this loving energy flows through the right side of the chest all the way down to the right hip,

Upper leg,

Knee,

Lower leg,

Heel,

Sole of the right foot and top of the right foot.

Warm stream of energy towards the right toes.

Feel the whole right side of your body filled with this warm stream of loving energy.

Now flow your awareness back to the heart again.

From here this warm stream of loving energy flows to the left shoulder,

Left upper arm,

Lower arm,

Wrist,

Palm of the hand and back of the hand,

Left thumb,

Index finger,

Middle finger and pinky.

Warm energy towards the tips of your fingers and feeling the whole left arm resting in loving warm energy.

Now flowing back to the heart as you allow this loving warmth to flow down through the left side of the chest towards the left hip,

Upper leg,

Knee,

Sole of the foot,

Top of the foot.

Warm energy towards the toes on the left side.

Now feeling this loving energy through the whole left side of your body.

Now feel this warm loving energy through the whole body.

Feel how this energy is flowing from the tips of your toes all the way up.

Now bring your awareness to your heart again.

Visualize a little flower that is growing from your heart.

With each in-breath this flower starts to grow a little bigger.

What flower do you see here?

What colours does it have?

And as this flower grows bigger and bigger you start to notice this loving light stream coming from that flower.

Notice how this light stream is warm and loving as it slowly flows into your whole chest,

Down to the hips,

Legs and feet.

Allow the loving light stream that is coming from the heart,

From that beautiful flower to flow up towards your face until it rests into the space in between your eyebrows.

And there in between your eyebrows another flower starts to grow.

What does this flower look like?

Now in the middle of the flower in between your eyebrows a little opening starts to appear.

It looks like a little gate that is welcoming you as you allow your awareness to move closer to the opening in the flower.

You start to see this beautiful golden gate that is opening up for you.

You decide to move closer and walk through the gate.

And you enter a big field of beautiful flowers.

The sun is shining and the sky is perfectly blue.

You start to sit down into the field of flowers and take in their beautiful loving smell.

The flowers invite you to lay down into the soft grass.

And as a gentle breeze flows,

The flowers start to whisper these loving words to you.

You are loved.

You are a beautiful being of light and love.

There is nothing you have to do to deserve love.

You are perfect the way you are.

And as you lay here in the grass,

Take in the beautiful words of the flowers and allow them to enter your heart.

And as these words are flowing towards your heart,

You can tell yourself,

I am grateful for myself for taking the time to love myself a little more today.

I am grateful for myself for taking the time to love myself a little more today.

Now with a heart full of love,

It is time to slowly move back towards the golden gate.

You thank the flowers for their love and bring all their words with you into your heart as you step through the gate.

You arrive back into that space in between your eyebrows where this beautiful flower is still blooming.

And as you feel your heart and whole body glowing with a beautiful,

Warm,

Loving energy,

You start to gently feel the ground under your body again.

Notice how the ground carries you and holds you within its loving arms.

Notice how the breath is here to breathe you.

Very slowly,

You can start to make some very gentle movements with your fingers and your toes.

Very slowly,

Waking yourself up again.

And whenever you feel ready,

Start to move yourself towards your favourite side.

You can hug your knees into your chest and repeat three times in your mind the following words,

I am grateful for myself for taking the time to love myself a little more today.

I am grateful for myself for taking the time to love myself a little more today.

I am grateful for myself for taking the time to love myself a little more today.

You can stay here for a little longer or you can slowly start to push yourself up when you're ready into a comfortable seated position.

And when you find your seat,

You can place one hand on your heart and one hand on your lower belly again.

Feeling that warm,

Loving energy in your body.

And thanking yourself once more that you practiced,

That you allowed yourself to slow down,

That you gave yourself a little more love today.
