Transcript

Welcome to this full moon meditation.

Gently bring yourself into this space with a few deep breaths.

Close your eyes and allow your body to fully relax.

Feel the comfort of the surface you're sitting on beneath you and the grounding energy of the earth supporting you.

Give yourself permission to be fully present in this moment.

You might notice some thoughts coming in and if you do just try and move them away with a breath.

Inhale deeply through your nose and exhale slowly through your mouth.

Notice the gentle rise and fall of your chest and abdomen.

As you continue to breathe deeply bring your awareness to your feet.

Feel them connected to the earth grounding you.

Imagine roots extending from the soles of your feet reaching deep into the earth anchoring you firmly.

Breathe deeply and steadily throughout this practice grounding yourself in the present knowing that you are supported and safe.

The November full moon is known as the beaver moon.

This name comes from beavers setting up their homes for winter.

As we can see and feel nature is shifting at this time of year so it is a great moment for you to reflect on where you are on your life path,

How you are feeling and what you want to leave behind this month.

As the days grow colder and shorter we can take inspiration from the beavers who are preparing their homes for winter.

And as always the full moon is a reminder to find stability within ourselves and move forward feeling lighter and prepared for the months ahead.

The full moon in Taurus teaches us about grounding and gratitude.

It's a time to focus on stability and comfort just like the beavers.

This moon is encouraging us to let go of anything that doesn't support our sense of security and to think about how we can build a more fulfilling life.

Throughout this meditation connect to the gentle strength of Taurus,

An earth sign known for its grounding energy.

Allow this feeling to envelop you providing a sense of calm and steadiness.

As you continue to breathe deeply bring your focus to the full moon above you.

Visualise its luminous light shining down bathing you in its glow.

Feel its energy throughout your entire body.

The full moon in Taurus is guiding you to connect with your senses so take a moment to reflect on how you are feeling right now and what you are grateful for.

What is exciting you right now?

What are you happily going to be taking into the winter months?

It might be the comforts of home,

The support and love of friends,

A new personal goal you are working on.

Allow yourself to connect and embrace these feelings of gratitude and allow them to ground you here in this moment.

Continuing to breathe deeply bring your mind to something that you want to release.

Something that you have pushed below the surface that you want to get rid of now.

Something that you do not want to take into the winter months.

This might be a negative belief,

A negative emotion or something that is getting in the way of your sense of security.

Something that threatens your foundations.

Visualise what you want to release as a heavy stone resting in your heart or chest,

Weighing you down.

Really try and connect to this belief,

Emotion,

Disruption.

Really examine it,

Put all of your feelings towards it into that stone.

Feel how that energy is affecting you,

Mentally,

Physically and spiritually.

Coming back to your breath now,

Feel the earth's energy flowing up through the roots you planted earlier into your body with every inhalation.

This energy is filling you with warmth and strength.

As you exhale,

Imagine that heavy stone slowly crumbling,

Breaking apart,

Releasing into the earth below.

Slowly visualise the crumbling of this stone moving out of your body and into the earth.

Inhale the earth's energy,

Exhale the crumbling of the stone.

Remove every last piece of the stone with every exhale.

Visualise the fragments of this stone being absorbed by the ground,

Transformed into nourishing energy for the earth with the help of this full moon energy.

With each exhale,

Feel a sense of lightness and freedom as you let go of what no longer serves you.

Now take a moment to simply enjoy the moon's glow.

Even if you haven't seen the full moon today,

Really try and connect to its presence and its power.

Feel its energy washing over you,

Recharging and rejuvenating every cell in your body.

This energy is helping you be ready to face the next month feeling lighter and more present.

I'm going to ask you to come back to your environment now by introducing some movement back into your body.

When you feel ready you can slowly open your eyes,

Taking a moment to notice the space around you.

I hope that you can carry the energy of this meditation with you,

Feeling grounded and connected to both the earth and the power of the full moon.

And remember,

You can always come back to your breath to feel grounded and grateful.
