In this gently guided meditation, Ipek invites you into the heart of the Middle Way… A space of quiet wisdom beyond extremes. Without pushing or retreating, grasping or resisting, you'll be guided to rest in the pause where clarity begins. This practice is a direct experience of presence. Subtle, honest, and grounding. Let this be your return to center. Not as a perfect state, but as a practice of soft awareness. Music by Liborio Conti.

The middle way is not balance between opposites.

It is the absence of grasping.

Ajaan Amaro.

Let those words ripple through your awareness.

This is not a meditation to fix,

To force or to improve anything.

This is simply a resting.

Let's begin.

Wherever you are.

However you are.

Not by dropping into your body this time or focusing on your breath.

But by meeting this moment with nothing.

With nothingness.

Let the tension go that says I should be calm.

I should feel different.

I should know how to do this.

What if this is it?

Right here.

This tangle of thoughts.

This stillness.

This ordinary flickering now.

Feel into the simplicity of that.

Don't lean forward into effort.

Don't lean back into resistance.

Just arrive.

And now allow yourself to become aware of how often the mind reaches.

For answers.

For certainty.

For the next step.

For a conclusion.

Let the reaching soften.

You don't need to grab onto the moment.

Let it pass through you.

Like wind through open hands.

Rest here.

In the pause between grasping and pushing away.

This is the middle way.

Not a line to walk but a field to rest in.

There may be sensations.

There may be thoughts.

Let them rise.

Let them fall.

No story needed.

You're not here to choose sides.

You're not here to analyze.

You are here to rest.

In what remains when there is no reaching.

If you notice discomfort,

Welcome.

If you notice stillness,

Welcome.

Let it all belong.

Without preference.

And if the mind wanders into the past or future,

Let it return without scolding.

Return to this unremarkable yet extraordinary moment.

Right here is where the pendulum stops swinging.

Right here,

Between trying and giving up,

You are simply present.

Now,

Gently become aware of the space around you.

Not to leave the middle way but to carry it with you.

As you re-enter the flow of your day,

Let this resting place remain closed.

A quiet center.

Always available.

Never demanding.

And know this.

You are not behind.

You are not ahead.

You are not too much.

Or you lack anything.

You are enough.

You are here.

And here is enough.

You are resting in the middle way.

When you are ready,

You may open your eyes or stay here a little longer,

Still,

Aware and quietly awake.

From my heart to yours,

With all my love and gratitude,

Namaste.

Thank you, Ipek, for this treasure. This is the most *instantly* calming & soothing meditation I’ve ever run across. Like a gift from the Gods. Like wrapping myself in the softest blanket of silence and serenity. And I’ve used it for falling asleep, as well. You are a treasure, yourself. ❤️🕯️❤️
