
Dr. Hew Len's Inner Child Ho’oponopono Meditation
This inner child meditation is my version of the late Dr. Hew Len's Ho'oponopono practice that is readily available. Here, I share it using my voice and adding music to the meditation while keeping the content almost the same. When practiced daily, this meditation facilitates a strong connection with the child within you, and keeps that connection alive. Which aims to create a deep and warm partnership between you and our inner child.

When you feel a child inside of you springing to life,
That's how you know you're where you should be.

Relax and close your eyes.
I'm going to take you through the most important relationship in creation and that's between the conscious and subconscious or what I'm going to call between the mother and child.
The mother being the conscious mind who has choice.
It can either care for the child or ignore it.
So let's suppose for now the conscious mind is the mother aspect of creation and the subconscious is the child and it's the child who has all the memory since creation and all the burden.
If you have depression,
That's an inflammation your inner child is going through.
As we want this relationship between you and your inner child work,
We will go through this process slowly and gently.
Imagine seeing yourself as a child.
Try to remember when you felt the most vulnerable and sad.
What are you wearing?
How do you look?
How is your hair done?
Can you see your shoes?
See as vivid as possible yourself right in front of you.
The first thing you want to say to this child.
For the first time in creation,
I'm acknowledging your presence in me.
So that's the first thing you do as it's important to acknowledge that there is this being in you,
Your inner child.
When you are talking to this inner child,
You say,
This is the first time I become aware that you are a part of me.
I love you.
I love you.
I love you.
And then you acknowledge the fact that all of the hurts and pains are data and memories from many lifetimes.
From your ancestors.
From your grandparents.
Your parents.
You say to your inner child,
I'm sorry.
Please forgive me for all the accumulated memories that you experience as sorrow,
As grieving,
As pain.
You are talking to this child,
Acknowledging your responsibility about all the pain the child experienced that were created,
Accepted and accumulated by you and that you would like to have it undone.
An important part of this process is always asking the child for permission.
So you say,
Please allow me to stroke the top of your head with love and concern.
And then you do that.
You see yourself stroking the top of the head of the child.
And as you stroke the top of the head,
You say,
I love you.
Please forgive me for all the pain and sorrow restored in you.
I'm sorry.
This is the most important relationship because you can teach this child how to do the cleaning.
You can have your inner child help you in doing the cleaning.
Be your partner in that.
See yourself still stroking the child's head while saying,
I love you.
Thank you for being a part of me.
And I'm sorry if I have been neglectful for not taking good care of you.
If I have manipulated you,
I'm sorry.
Would you please help me to let go?
Then you start at the top of your head and go down slowly,
Noticing all the aches and pains you might have.
If you do feel any pain anywhere,
You say to the child,
I'm experiencing this pain.
Please let go of the memories that are causing this pain.
I don't know what the memories are.
I don't want to know what the memories are.
Just help me to let it go.
Let's offer it to the divinity through the superconscious and ask together the divinity to set it free.
Now ask your inner child permission to hug them gently.
Tell them,
My dear child,
Please allow me to hug you very gently.
And you cradle the child in your arms and you talk to them.
Thank you for being a part of me.
I love you.
And I'm sorry for all the accumulated memories that you experience as pain and suffering.
Please,
Please forgive me.
And then you ask the child to give their hand.
Please give me your hand so that I can hold it and stroke it.
Then you reach out for their hand.
You say,
Thank you for being an important part of me.
A part that I didn't pay much attention to.
And I'm sorry.
Please,
Please forgive me.
I love you.
And you think about all the financial challenges you went through in your life.
You say,
All that created financial problems were coming from the data and memories accumulated within me.
I'm asking you to let go.
Please let go.
If I have been abusive to money,
Abusive to finances,
Abusive to the land,
Please forgive me and please let go.
And you ask the child permission to hold her other hand.
Please allow me to hold your other hand.
And you reach mentally for their other hand.
Grasp it gently.
This beautiful child is where all the problems are stored.
You want to be on a good relationship with them so that they let all harmful memories and data to be cleansed and cleared.
While you keep stroking your inner child's hand,
You look at yourself.
Ask yourself,
What is going on in me that is causing me to experience problems with certain people and certain situations over and over again?
You bring them up in your life and say,
I don't know why,
But I notice that when I am around with this person or in that environment,
I become annoyed and irritated and it's all related to the data and memories that I have in me.
Please my inner child,
Open up your memory bank and please let go.
This is the most important and essential relationship in all of creation,
The relationship between the mother and child.
If the mother can win the child over,
She is home free.
The child will help her with the cleaning,
Will be willing to let go,
Will be willing to intuit into her and tell her what's coming up,
Help her to get ready for whatever comes her way.
Now it's time to ask the child permission to hold their shoulders,
Saying,
Please allow me to hold your shoulders and give you unlimited love and you reach for their shoulders and you continue your dialogue.
This dialogue is about love.
It's about acknowledging the presence of the child.
I love you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you for being a part of me.
I'm really grateful to know that you are here for me.
Please forgive me for ignoring you and not caring for you,
Causing you great harm,
Pain and sorrow.
I'm sorry.
I love you.
Thank you for being a part of me.
Know that your inner child is the best business partner you can ever have.
If the relationship between the mother and child works well,
It will work alone for everything.
While still holding their shoulders,
You look into the eyes of the child and you get emotional.
You once again tell them,
I have ignored you.
I have caused you pain and sorrow.
I'm sorry.
Please,
Please forgive me.
I love you.
Thank you for being willing to let go so that you and I can be memory free.
That you and I can walk hand in hand with the divinity into the light.
You can do this inner child connection meditation in the morning or in the evening,
Whenever you like.
You can take a few minutes out of your busy schedule to get reconnected and realigned with your inner child.
And if you practice this meditation and the Ho'oponopono mantra regularly,
Your inner child could become the best partner you could ever have in life.
To conclude our meditation,
We will now do a breathing exercise,
Which is a cleaning process that your inner child appreciates.
Make sure your feet are flat on the floor,
Your thumb and your forefinger touching in both hands,
Resting on your lap.
We will do seven rounds of breathing exercise.
We will breathe in for a count of seven.
Hold your breath for a count of seven.
Exhale for a count of seven.
And again,
Hold it for a count of seven.
We will do seven rounds of breathing exercise.
We will do seven rounds of breathing exercise.
We will do seven rounds of breathing exercise.
We will do seven rounds of breathing exercise.
We will do seven rounds of breathing exercise.
Now,
Come back to the present moment.
Feel the calmness and peace you are experiencing.
And when ready,
Gently open your eyes.
Your inner child loves you and so do I.
From my heart to yours,
With all my love and gratitude.

Oh Ipek, I just did this meditation and it was soo beautiful ❤️ I drifted off into a deep meditative state but could hear you beautiful, gentle, calm voice. I struggled a bit with the breathing exercise at the end but completed it. I will do this meditation again. Thank you for this meditation 🙏❤️
