Peace and ground as you are.

I invite you,

If you are not already,

To be outside of walls,

Away from screens,

Artificial things,

At least artificial interiors.

I just invite you to accept and to be present with all the unique noises around you.

I'm recording this meditation and invitation from a large park area,

Open space area in Colorado and there are nearby streets.

It is public so you might hear the voices of families and children.

I invite you to be with all of those unique voices and energies around you in your unique environment.

So as you start moving or perhaps before you start moving,

I invite you to connect to your breath,

To your body,

To the wonder of your lungs,

To the wonder of the air.

Just invite you to do several deep breaths all the way in and slowly out,

All the way in and slowly out.

Do another one all the way in and as you breathe in,

Breathe in the mystery.

Breathe in the mystery,

The unexpected,

The unknowns.

Breathe them in and as you breathe out,

You honor and tend to the unknowns and the mysteries inside of you.

At any point during your movement,

If you feel caught or stuck in thinking and tasks,

Just invite you to go back to that deep place of breathing where you feel your lungs expanding.

So as you move,

As we move,

As our blood never stops moving,

As we just embody a relationship to movement,

We also invite and embody a relationship to presence,

To the details of what's around us and the details of what's inside of us.

That in some twisted,

Spiraling,

Non-linear realm,

We are connected to all the noises in our midst.

Just be with them,

Be with what moves around you as you move.

I invite you to take your pace even slower than where it is right now.

As you slow your steps,

Notice all the defaults that want to speed it up.

Have grace on them,

Have patience with those defaults and in your unique way,

Try to resist them by going even slower.

As you continue moving,

I invite you to focus your attention on all of the natural elements around you,

In front of you,

Behind you,

Above you,

Underneath you,

And beyond and even deeper into your noticing.

Notice the color,

The specific colors and how they blend,

Maybe in a rock,

Maybe in the details of the bark of the tree,

Maybe in the transitions from light to dark to light to gray to blue to dark in the clouds,

The different patterns of color in the dirt or soil or grasses or even pavement under your feet.

Notice the colors,

Notice the detail.

I invite you to peer into the specific detail of one tree or rock or stream or flower or plant or blade of grass when it reaches out to you,

When it speaks a little louder to you,

When it catches your attention with a little more energy and strength.

I invite you to keep an eye and a heart and an ear for that unique detail that's calling as you move,

As you listen.

If you need to pause this audio until you're near,

In front of,

Perhaps kneeling or resting next to this element,

Feel free to do so.

If you found that unique natural element staring back at you as you look into it,

I invite you to just take a couple deep breaths all the way in,

Slowly out,

All the way in,

Slowly out.

One more deep breath in this breath.

Focus your attention on that detail and as you breathe in,

Breathe in what it might be saying to you,

What it might be speaking to you,

What it might be sending to you.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

Let's take one more deep breath and on our breath out,

We just invite what is in us that we want to channel to this unique detail.

Breathing in and breathing out.

So as you peer into this detail,

You might try and notice the way the light reflects on it.

The sun,

Where it hits it,

Or the shade,

Or maybe both,

And the differences of the colors where there is light and where there is shade.

I want you to notice any details of shedding or crumbling,

Of regeneration,

Of growth,

Of new life,

Of resting life.

If you're looking at trees or plants,

What is reaching more fully,

What is resting,

What might be withering away,

What might be growing anew,

Similar to the clouds.

Notice the edges of the rock.

Just notice what might be new,

What might be aged.

As you notice these details,

These unique details,

Be mindful of noticing those same invitations in your own being.

What's growing,

What's reaching,

What's resting,

What wants to grow,

What wants to reach,

What wants to rest.

Be mindful of the lineage and the history and the story,

The slow growing story of this detail of this element.

What else is it saying?

What else is it reminding you of?

What else is it whispering to your deep truths,

Your deep aches,

Your deep ocean of belonging of dreams,

Of pain?

Just be with this connection for a few moments.

And if you need to return to a couple deep breaths to continue grounding.

After you make a connection,

Just invite that you place your hand on or next to or near this element and gratitude for what was exchanged for the relationship between you and this unique detail that sees you in this moment,

In this time as you are.

And as you slowly return to movement,

Continue a journey of being present to what's ahead,

To what's around,

To what's above,

To what's below.

So as you continue walking or rolling in a wheelchair or powered stroller,

However your unhurried movement lives in this life,

Just that you invite a few more details,

A few more elements to really see you as you protect time to witness them in their details,

In their living created state.

Just further invitation to be tender with your steps and to return to your deep breathing as the distractions will surely flow in.

Peace to your movement.
