Moving the way we are made to move as meditation practice is deeply needed alongside how we evolve, create, risk, and emerge in these times. This meditation practice invites listeners to bring added intention and awareness to what is possible ~ in them and around them ~ by honoring their own human body as it physically moves forward. We invite increased capacity to be more creative and expansive towards co-creating the world our deep hearts know is possible.

Peace and space to you wherever this meets you.

Thank you for leaning in to this walking and or human movement if you are on a wheelchair or powered stroller meditation invitation.

As you listen and as you press play and begin you might already be slowly moving or you might just be starting or thinking of when you will start.

So wherever this meets you I invite you to start your movement outside if you can if you are able and if not I invite you to be in a place where you are a little more upright and your arms and shoulders are opening your lungs you're breathing deeply.

I'm recording this meditation in an urban a large urban park and so you're going to hear wind and trees and leaves you're going to hear voices of people possible traffic sounds and so in the spirit of this invitation this invitation of movement forward that we invite all the sounds and noises and that I with utmost imperfection and integrity in hosting this invitation and moving forward with you as I record and as I invite so you will hear my feet on leaves because this is the fall season and so as you start and if you are already moving I invite you to pause just for a couple seconds and just take a couple really deep breaths just to begin and to bring more intention into your movement so let's breathe deeply all the way in and slowly out all the way in and slowly out for this last really deep breath let's invite as we breathe in the world as it is just as it is what is right in front of us inside of us and around us as we are and then as we breathe out we invite what is possible we invite our movement forward into things unyet defined or fully seen and so we breathe in the world as it is and we breathe in I'm sorry we breathe out what is possible the world as it could be the world as it should be and so I invite you just as we begin our movement that in all of your breathing whenever it feels right or when you're present to it that as you breathe in you're honoring the world as it is and as you breathe out the world as it could be as it should be the world alongside what is possible and so as we slowly start moving I invite you to be extra unhurried just to notice and be with your body as it is you notice and feel your feet rolling on the ground notice the surface underneath you if you're moving on a wheelchair or a powered stroller and just notice the surface and the ground underneath you notice what's around you and that we honor and notice all the sounds around us the wind the movement the rush and the swirl of wind so in all of this noticing we are hyper aware we are deeply aware of our unique human frames slowly moving forward that our bodies if we are walking with our feet our bilateral approach to moving forward and we just honor it we notice and we are present to it if you're on a wheelchair or powered stroller that the swinging of your arms to move or if it's powered you feel the wind and things moving alongside of you so I invite you for a couple minutes or you might consider pausing this just to really rest and be present into and to lean with more intention into movement forward that we are moving forward one step one roll one foot one breath at a time honoring and noticing trees honoring and noticing the sky and the ground as you move I invite you to connect with your breathing again breathing in the world as it is breathing out what is possible the space is between what is seen and unseen the space is between any lines that we feel in our lives any blocks that we're just we're moving our bodies forward beyond some of our defaults to the realm of dreams slowly moving existing breathing surviving and the wonder of it all after you've spent some time connecting with I invite you to open open your site and your thoughts and your heart into what is possible into the realm of possibility into the creative forward so as our bodies are physiologically moving forward that we are modeling our own body-based capacity to be of a way that moves forward that moves beyond the status quo beyond where we might feel stuck beyond false stories that no longer serve us that our physical bodies in it of itself are moving forward and so as we walk and as we invite expansion in our brains expansion in our thoughts expansion that we literally honor that we are physiologically the neuroplasticity in our brains is expanding as we move that we are moving blood that our cells are moving and reaching and nourishing our veins and our organs and our lungs and so with that how can our thoughts and our dreams and our ideas our hopes our relationships our day-to-day activities our behaviors our connections how can we be in possibility in expansion how can we be people who are more even more and beyond more inclusive and open to those who are different than we are how can we be less attached to our positions and our postures to our hoarding and our clinging and our resources how can we be of a way where the systems that we live in and our relationship to them steer more and more towards human thriving planet thriving that our sisters non-binary beloveds brothers all in our midst experience a life that is healthy thriving cared for and what does it look like for us to be a part of helping to make and be of a way where that thriving is more available is more consistent is more possible is more unquestionable and so we move we move we move we don't have exact answers we don't have quick fix-it solutions we just we move with wonder and aches we move with dreams with possibility we actively expand our minds and our hearts and the veins and blood in our bodies as we move forward that deep within our hearts and our bodies we have an honor an incredible capacity to be resilient to adapt and to evolve and to emerge to be more human in this life and to be less weighed down by stories and systems that don't serve us that don't help us to thrive and so as the trees reach and survive and rest and root as the branches break and bend and twist to survive so shall we in our movement and our expansion and our breath so we keep moving slowly unhurried patient awake we don't give in to stuckness to static status quo that we in our deep in breath we honor the world as it is in the systems that are right in front of us that can feel oppressive and disconnected and we we fall to put food on the table to survive and we also as we breathe deeply out into the big big spaces between to be of a way that expands and opens and lives towards what is possible that we invite being more of a way in our day-to-day behaviors relationships connections to be more of a way that is boldly creative boldly relational boldly loving boldly open boldly just and boldly honoring our interconnectedness and in that interconnectedness what might that cost us to serve and be of a way that is more boldly loving more boldly just more boldly open and so we move with those tensions we love ourselves deeply we hold the hand of self-compassion as we walk as we roll these big questions under a big sky so I invite you to continue moving slowly perhaps re-listening to certain segments of this audio invitation meditation and just be with what stirs as certain things are said or invited to be with what stirs in you what's coming up in you naturally and organically and to return to an in breath of honoring the world as it is and then in the out breath honoring and being of a way that participates more openly and more readily and what is possible as we move forward with the bodies we have and the stories we have and the lives that we have that we move forward and we invite the humility of unhurried movement to be one of many ways that we practice movement forward so we invite the wind and the trees and the sky to be with us with self-compassion with justice with grace with dignity with humility peace
