Chakra Connection And Rebalancing Meditation With Chanting

This unique chanting meditation has the intention to connect you to your energy centres and bring them into balance. The mediation starts with chanting, a special chant that connects to each chakra in turn. feeding the energy centre with its own vibration to help bring it into balance. Following this we go into a deep mediation that uses your own touch to connect to each chakra within your own body. This meditation was shared within a womens circle but it availible to all beings.

So today's meditation,

We're just going to connect to the chakras and we're going to use our hands as a marker to help us find the energy of the chakras.

So the root chakra is obviously right underneath,

So you can feel that as your sitting bones are sitting on the ground,

That's how you can feel into the energy of the root chakra.

And then when we come up into the sacral chakra,

That is the womb that is just above the pubic bone.

And so bring your hands there and then we work our way up the body as we come up into the chakras.

Okay.

But to start off with,

We are going to chant.

And it's a very simple chant.

Each one corresponds to a different root chakra.

So I will chant,

You guys will pick it up very quickly.

So just follow with me and then the meditation will lead after that.

All right.

So let's all just take a deep breath in together,

In through the nose and out through the mouth.

Take another deep breath in and exhale out.

One more deep breath in,

Feeling right the way down to the root and then exhale out,

Landing into your seat and then just connecting to the yi bai yi breath or just allowing your natural breath to flow freely and allow yourself to sit deep into the sitting bones.

Relax the belly and just give yourself this time just to land into your body and in your mind,

Welcome yourself into your body.

Welcome,

Welcome to your body and allow yourself to drop in,

Drop into the third eye,

Drop into the heart,

Drop into the belly,

Drop into the womb.

Let us begin by chanting three oms together and then I will continue into the chakra balancing chant.

Taking a breath in to begin.

Om Bo Go to the vibration,

The sensation.

But as you breathe,

Breathing into that central column,

Running from the root to the crown,

Finding space,

Feeling the vibration of each of the mantras that we have just chanted.

I'm just gonna be in stillness for a few moments,

Just to be with all that is in this moment,

Giving ourselves permission to simply observe.

Trust the body,

Trust the mantra,

Trust the vibration within.

Now bring your awareness down to the root chakra,

Feeling your sitting bones in contact with the ground,

With the cushion that you're sitting on.

And imagine there's a very small balloon and you're breathing into that space in between the sitting bones,

Breathing into that space between yourself and the earth beneath you,

Breathing into your root.

And as you breathe,

Relax your body completely and allow for any movement to come,

Just breathing into that space,

Into your root,

Your connection to the earth.

And as you inhale,

Feel that space being created and the roots growing deeper into the earth,

Expanding.

And on the exhale,

Feel the nourishment coming up from the earth through the roots into your root,

Into your connection with the earth.

Just observe and allow yourself to feel and move with any energy that you can feel here.

If it helps to visualize,

You can visualize the dark red earth,

That ball of dark red energy,

Or maybe it's sensation,

Focusing on the sensation of your body in contact with the earth.

With each breath,

Building upon the connection between the root and the earth,

The earth and your root,

Breathing into that ball of energy,

Giving yourself full permission to feel it,

To move with it,

Inviting it to be felt by the legs if they're in contact with the earth,

Also the feet.

It's like you're opening yourself up to the earth's energy,

To that root energy and plugging yourself in and then bringing your hands to the womb space,

Just above the pelvic bone,

And shift the awareness from the root chakra into the sacral chakra,

The second chakra,

And breathing into the womb space,

Feeling that earth energy move out into fire,

That creative energy,

The life force energy that is able to birth all intentions into manifestation,

Feeling your hands upon your body,

That warmth,

That fire,

And as if you are opening up the connection between the root chakra and Svarasthana,

Opening up that channel that connects the two of them and also down into the earth,

And again,

Allow yourself to feel that fire,

Feeling the pulse of the womb,

Feeling the energy swirling,

Again,

Allowing the body to move with the energy,

Allowing the hands to move,

So you invite your body to receive this creative fire,

Allowing it to burn away boundaries,

Burn away borders,

Restrictions,

Attachments,

And then bringing that awareness and bringing the hands up to the solar plexus,

To the belly button,

Or just below the belly button,

And again,

As if you're working your way up that central column,

Opening up the barriers between Svarasthana and the solar plexus,

Opening up that channel of energy now running from the earth into the root,

Into the Svarasthana,

Into the solar plexus,

Allowing that fire to funnel its way up into your power center,

And you can imagine a big ball of orange,

Yellow,

Fiery energy here,

And let the fire burn,

Let it burn away the ego,

Let it burn away what no longer serves us,

And you can move the hands in circular motions over the belly button,

Over your stomach,

Allowing the body to move and receive that fire,

And the hands may even run,

Move around the back,

Into the lower back,

Let the hands move across the body as you open up,

Allowing the body to receive the fire,

And then bring that fire up into the heart.

Let the fire burn into the heart,

And as the fire burns into the heart,

The element of water starts to come in soon,

And bringing the hands to your heart,

Allow the hands to move in whatever way that feels,

Moving the hands in circles over the heart center,

Over the breasts,

Over the shoulders,

Whatever feels right,

Feeling that fire burning from the earth to the root,

Into Svalastan,

Into solar plexus,

All the way up to the base of the heart,

And then as the lotus flowers stem,

Feel the water element come in as the petals open in your heart,

And allow that watery energy to soothe away what the fire has burnt,

Bringing a cooling sensation into your heart,

Cooling and soothing,

And at this point,

Give yourself a hug,

Wrap the arms around the shoulders,

Allow that love to be felt from yourself,

Allow that love to give you the courage and strength to be yourself,

To be your truth,

And we're gonna take that calmness and that coolness and bring it up into the throne,

And just bring the hands to the neck,

To the jaw,

And just finding a comfortable place,

Feeling that warm,

Healing energy from your hands,

Allow that energy to come into your throat chakra,

Knowing that the throat is directly connected to the womb,

To the cosmic womb,

To the heart,

And as you breathe here,

Breathe into the throat,

And then all the way down,

Opening up that central column even wider as you breathe in and breathe all the way down into the root,

And as you exhale,

Exhale from the earth all the way up,

Back up into the throat,

And just enjoy nice,

Deep breaths here.

As you inhale,

The hands may open up,

Opening up the throat,

And as you exhale,

The hands may close in on the throat.

Maybe that feels right,

Maybe it doesn't.

Just feel that connection from the throat,

Running all the way down into the earth,

As you inhale and as you exhale,

Knowing that with each breath,

The natural intelligence is cleansing,

It's clearing,

And start to bring that energy up into the third eye,

Bringing the hands to the third eye,

And maybe just massaging,

Running the fingers down the eyebrows,

Around the eyes themselves,

Over the forehead,

And just allowing whatever massage your third eye is requiring,

And then bring the fingers to the temples and just lightly press on the temples as you bring your awareness to your third eye,

And again,

Come into the yujayi breath and breathe deeply.

Feel the inhale coming in from above,

In from the third eye,

Traveling all the way down the body,

Down to the earth,

As you breathe in.

The exhale comes up from the earth,

Coming all the way up through the chakras,

Meeting back in the third eye,

And then at any point,

If the third eye is asking for massage on the temples or the hands to work their way over the head and over the face,

Let that movement come.

The spine starts to feel like it wants to move with the breath,

Let that come.

Do whatever you need to do here,

Do whatever feels right,

As you breathe,

Whole body breaths,

Deepening that connection from the earth all the way up into the third eye,

And then bringing that connection up into the crown,

So bringing the fingertips like you're giving yourself a head massage,

And using the fingers to sort of massage the crown of the head,

Opening,

Soothing,

And again,

Keeping that deep breathing going now,

Breathing from the crown all the way down to the roots,

Exhaling from the earth all the way up into the crown,

Whole body breaths,

Allowing whatever movement to come,

Maybe the top of the head wants to be scratched,

Maybe you need to flick and flick the energy out of the hair,

Wherever you are,

Allow the energy around the crown to be cleared,

Opening yourself up,

And then on an inhale,

Reach the arms up,

Hold the arms up,

Exhale here,

And just breathe your natural breath,

Opening yourself up like a vessel,

Clear,

Pure,

Divine light flowing in from the crown all the way down to the root,

Opening yourself up from the inside,

Allowing the light to flow freely through you,

And on your next exhale,

We're going to bring the hands together,

And we're going to om as we bring the hands to the heart,

So taking a breath in,

Placing the hands on your chest,

One hand on each side,

And sort of interlacing the thumbs,

Feeling your hands,

Warmth on your heart,

And just bow the head,

Bowing to yourself,

And just be in this stillness,

Be in this energy,

Just going to be in stillness for a few moments for us to absorb,

Observe,

And then take this moment to drop your awareness down into your womb,

Bringing the hands down to the womb space,

If it feels right,

As we just sit in the womb space,

To be in contact,

Giving yourself a little hug,

Giving the arms a nice little nourishing squeeze,

As you bring the hands to the face,

Just allowing conscious touch of your own body,

Feeling your own love,

Your own care,

And allow that touch to bring you back into the space,

Back into the room that you're in,

Bringing the hands to the legs,

Reconnecting with the lower half of the body,

And close this meditation just with a single om,

Taking a breath in,

Taking your time,

Being gentle with yourself,

As you bring yourself back into the body,

Into the room,

Into your space,

Taking your time,

And maybe getting a glass of water,

Once you've found yourself able to open your eyes again,

If it's making a little promise to yourself to be kind to your body,

And to yourself,

Many hours after this meditation,

And staying in this space,
