Ground and reconnect with your inner self through the restful practice of Yoga Nidra. Yoga Nidra - or 'Conscious Sleep' - is a total relaxation technique for mind & body. It requires no effort but to lay comfortably and listen in. You can listen to Yoga Nidra whenever you wish to relax, unwind and reset. Please do NOT listen to this video if you are driving or doing anything; it is best to be laying down or seated in a super comfortable position with your eyes closed.

Hello and welcome!
Welcome to your yoga nidra practice.
This is time and space for you to simply be with nothing to do,
Nowhere to go,
Nothing expected of you.
Let's take a nice deep breath in and let it out.
Take all the time that you need to make yourself comfortable and to place your body at ease.
You might lay down on your back,
On your side or maybe some other position,
Settling into a shape that feels both supported and spacious.
Tuning into your toes and your feet.
Ask the feet how they would love to be placed.
Tuning into your legs and knees.
Ask the legs how they would love to be.
Tuning into your hips and buttocks.
How would they love to be?
Feel free to shift and wiggle yourself into comfort.
Tuning into your belly,
Your chest and spine.
How would these places love to be?
How about your shoulders,
Arms and hands?
Placing the body with awareness and love.
A sense of care.
Tuning into your neck and head.
Placing the head how it would love to be and settling in.
You're invited to take a few deep sighs.
Breathing in through the nose,
Out through the mouth.
Letting it go.
Each exhale settling you deeper into rest.
Breathing in and breathing out.
Welcome.
Just let yourself be now.
There is no need to pay any attention to what I'm saying.
Just let yourself be.
Gradually releasing all the effort out of your body.
Offering the weight of your body down into the earth.
Offer your whole self down into the earth.
To be held.
To be carried for a little while.
With awareness in the head,
Take your attention to your nose.
As the breath comes in,
Just see if there are any aromas that can be noticed.
Even the nose is invited to rest.
Taking the awareness to your tongue,
Are there any tastes that can be tasted?
Sensing the waters of the mouth,
You invite your tongue to settle and relax.
The waters of your eyes relax.
As the eyes close,
Relaxing the eyes and the eyelids,
The eyebrows and temples.
As if your eyes could settle a little deeper inside the head.
Becoming aware of the point between the eyebrows and the breath coming in and going out through the nose.
Noticing the sensations of the breath coming and going.
The breath coming in a little cooler.
The breath going out a little warmer.
Taking your awareness to your ears.
These ears that receive the sound vibrations around you and within you.
Inviting the ears to open and rest.
As the effortless breath comes in through the nose,
The awareness draws inward.
As the breath goes out through the nose,
Awareness travels outside the body.
Inhaling your awareness within,
Exhaling awareness without.
How might that be?
To breathe awareness within,
Without.
Riding on the effortless breath and welcoming any images or sensations that might arise.
The invitation now is to breathe the awareness inside the head and breathe the awareness out,
Down and through the body.
Breathing awareness inside the head and exhale the awareness washes through the whole body from the head all the way through to the toes.
How might that be?
To breathe with the body.
Inhaling,
Gathering the awareness inside the head and exhaling as the awareness spreads and washes through the whole body.
Letting the breath go now.
You're invited to take your attention to rest in the space of the head.
You'll hear my voice guiding your attention around the body.
In each place that is mentioned is invited to soften and let go.
Bringing the attention to the top of the head and the space inside the head.
Letting go all the way through to the forehead,
Back of head,
Eyes,
Cheeks,
Tongue and ears.
Settling all the way through the throat and the neck.
Bring the attention down into the space of the center of the chest.
The sense of settle could spread through the shoulders,
Upper arms,
Elbows,
Forearms,
Right through to the wrists and palms and all the way through the fingers and thumbs.
The two thumbs right and left,
Left and right.
The two palms right and left,
Left and right.
And all the fingers.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four fingers on each hand.
Bringing the awareness from the fingertips back through the arms and shoulders.
Returning home in the center of the chest.
Settling here in the pulsing beating heart of this living being.
This heart is invited to rest.
Take the awareness down now into the belly and through the belly.
Inviting all the internal organs of the belly to soften.
From the belly through to the lower back and the whole length of the spine.
From root to crown.
From crown to root.
Settling through the belly and the pelvis.
Inviting all the pelvic organs to soften.
The awareness travels through buttocks and hips,
Thighs,
Knees,
Shin bones,
Calf muscles and ankles.
Right through to the feet and all the toes.
All the toes.
The big toes,
Second toes,
Third toes,
Fourth toes and fifth toes.
All the way through.
This sense of settle and ease washes through the whole body.
From heels to back of head.
From back of head to heels.
From outer edges of feet to sides of head and ears.
Sides of head and ears to outer edges of feet.
From the big toes to the nostrils and third eye center.
From third eye center through nostrils all the way to the toes.
And every place and every space within held in the open awareness of ease and rest which is yoga nidra.
So how is that?
To be held in a restful state from toes to top.
From top to toes through back and front.
From front through back the whole right side.
The whole left side.
All parts of the body held together as one in this space.
Your space.
The invitation now is to settle your awareness in the very center of it all.
Settling awareness in the center of the chest and the heart space or perhaps in the belly.
In the belly.
Just to be present with yourself.
Just to be present.
Holding space for the intuitive wisdom of this body.
The intuitive wisdom of this heart.
The invitation is to come back to the flowing cycle of breath.
Coming in and going out.
Breath coming in touching all the spaces within.
Breath going out becoming aware of the earth beneath you.
Breath coming in aware of the space within.
As the breath goes out starting to become aware of the space around you.
Perhaps hearing sounds.
Smelling smells in your atmosphere.
Maybe opening the nostrils a little wider and breathing in any sense in the room or space that you find yourself.
Just as you're ready,
When you're ready,
You can wiggle the fingers and the toes,
The tongue.
Maybe dragging your thumbs across the fingertips.
Feeling the fingers and your hands.
Wiggling the tongue and the mouth.
Awakening the waters of the mouth.
You might stretch yourself out long.
Have a yawn or a sigh.
Taking your time to emerge from this yoga nidra space.
We're nearing the end of our practice now.
Thank you so much for listening and do take care of yourself in the space that follows.
Move slowly,
Gently and stay connected within.
Thank you so much for listening.
The practice of yoga nidra is now complete.
Go well wherever you go from here.
