Hi.
Hello.
Welcome to your full moon yoga nidra practice.
Full moon blessings,
Dear one.
And let's settle down and settle in comfortably for our yoga nidra practice.
Take all the time that you need to settle in.
Find that position that feels just right.
Find that position that you can trust and lean into.
Leaning into this place,
This moment.
I invite you to take a deep breath in through the nose,
Out through the mouth.
Maybe two more like that.
Breathing in,
Letting it go.
Inhaling and letting go of that breath.
Letting go of all effort.
Welcome home to your body.
Resting here on the earth.
Between earth and moon above,
All of you is welcome to settle.
As this body settles down,
So might the breath.
Re-entering that state of flow.
Out of resistance,
We re-enter the flow of our being.
Re-entering the flow of rest and ease.
As the breath settles down,
Entering a flow,
The mind is invited to settle.
Knowing that there is nothing to think about,
Nothing to pay attention to.
No need even to pay attention to my voice.
Just hearing the sounds around and within.
Welcoming the sounds within and without.
Receiving the vibrations of this moment here.
Receiving the moment just as it is and just as you are.
Inviting stillness.
The invitation is to call the attention into the center of your chest,
Your heart space.
Just to be present with the heart.
How is it to be present with the heart?
As if your awareness could enter through the heart.
Bathed in courage and love.
You enter your being through the power and openness of the heart.
Just leaving space to be here.
Listening and being.
This is your space.
Welcome home.
As we welcome attention around the body,
Each place is invited to rest and receive the cleansing,
Healing light of the full moon above.
Receiving that full moon light on the top of the head.
Receiving that cleansing,
Healing light on the top of the head and the forehead.
Over the whole of this face.
Easing the eyes and the nose and the ears.
Easing the tongue and the mouth.
This full moon light bathes the face and the head.
Across the whole of the scalp.
Down the back of the neck.
It shines over the throat and the neck.
Receiving this healing light through the throat.
It spreads across the collar bones.
Bathing the shoulders and the upper arms.
Elbows,
Forearms and wrists.
The palms of the hands,
Left and right.
Right palm,
Left palm.
Holding that healing moonlight in the palms of the hands.
As it soaks through to the backs of the hands.
From the hands and the fingers.
From fingers through wrists and forearms.
Elbows,
Upper arms and shoulders.
Through armpits,
Collar bones.
Welcoming this moonlight across the whole of the chest.
Bathing the heart.
Bathing the heart.
This cleansing moonlight as it soaks right through from front of chest through back of heart.
From heart through belly.
Receiving this healing light on the belly and in the belly and through the belly.
Right down into the pelvic floor.
Receiving this healing light without and within.
Within and without.
Bathing the hips and the buttocks and the groins.
Tops of thighs and back.
From right knee to left.
Left knee and right.
All the way down through the shins and the calves and the ankles.
Receiving this healing light through ankles and feet.
The tops of the feet and the soles.
All the toes.
The left big toe and the right big toe.
Right big toe and left.
The two big toes and the second toes,
Third toes,
Fourth toes,
Little toe.
A kiss of moonlight on the tips of these toes.
From tips of toes to top of head.
From top of head to tips of toes and every place and every space.
Within and without.
Bathed in this cleansing healing moonlight.
How is that?
To be soaked in the healing light of the moon above.
How might that be?
Between moon above and earth beneath.
You are so loved.
Between earth beneath and moon above.
You are so loved,
Dear one.
Welcome home to yourself.
Welcome home to the spacious state of yoga nidra where all is restored.
Where all that is ready to go may leave with grace.
Where all that is ready to come in may be received with grace.
Just as easy as the breath flows in and out.
Weaving this moment here in time and space.
How is it to be resting here in the stillness of the body?
As earth turns and moon spins.
How is it to be resting here in stillness?
On this moving and cycling earth.
Where all is welcome to be and change.
Where both change and being are welcome.
You are so welcome in your beingness.
So welcome in your becoming.
Always being and becoming.
How is it to be here moving through time and space?
Allowing all of this to be integrated.
As you call your attention back home inside the heart.
Welcoming and listening to the intuitive heart.
That speaks through feeling and thought,
Image,
Colour.
What might you notice in the heart?
Just leaving space to be with the intuitive heart and the wisdom of this body.
After being and resting,
Begin to emerge from this practice of yoga nidra.
Guided from the heart,
You emerge from your heart space.
Perhaps inviting a deeper breath.
Breathing into the heart.
Breathing out the heart's energies through all the limbs,
Fingers,
Toes,
Head.
Breathing in as you gather all of that energy from your heart.
Exhale as you send it through your whole being.
To be filled with your heart's precious energy.
Integrating this practice and process.
Take as many deep breaths as you like or need.
Begin to wiggle the fingers,
The toes.
Maybe stretch yourself awake.
Listening to the nudges and feelings of the body as you move from the inside out.
Perhaps rubbing the hands together.
Creating a little bit of heat and warmth.
Then placing your warm palms over your eyes or over your body.
Soothing yourself.
Inviting maybe a sense of gratitude for this time that you've spent in the inward space.
The practice of yoga nidra is now complete.
Thank you so much for listening.
Happy Full Moon.
