Welcome to this morning's solar plexus sun breath meditation.

My name is Chloe and I'm with Inner Glow Awakening.

Let's begin our day by connecting and strengthening the energy of our core and our stomach,

Our solar plexus.

To awaken digestion,

Strengthen stomach chi and balance solar plexus fire.

This is best done between the hours of 7 to 9 a.

M.

Welcome,

This is your time to awaken the fire of your solar plexus,

To bring warmth and balance to your stomach energy and to step into your day with clarity,

Strength and ease.

Find a comfortable seated position.

Allow your spine to lengthen naturally,

Shoulders soft,

Hands resting gently on your upper abdomen,

Just over your stomach,

Beneath the ribcage.

Now close your eyes.

Take a moment to simply notice where you are.

Notice the sounds around you,

The feeling of the floor beneath you and the rise and fall of your breath,

Bringing your awareness inward to give yourself some much deserved you,

Space and time.

Take a deep breath in through your nose and exhale slowly through your mouth.

This intentional breathing practice will allow you to settle the breath.

Notice how it becomes slow and steady on each cycle of breath.

Breathe in deeply,

Letting your belly expand and release.

One more time,

Inhale and this time sigh it all out,

Releasing with the noise that comes naturally through your body and your breath,

Releasing all the way to the bottom of the exhale.

Allow your breath now to soften into its own rhythm.

The solar plexus visualization.

Bring your awareness to the center of your upper abdomen,

The seat of your solar plexus chakra,

The Manipura in Sanskrit,

Where the wisdom originates from the Vedas in the yogic system.

It is the place of fire,

Willpower and personal transformation.

On your next inhale,

Imagine a gentle golden glow beginning to shine here.

With each breath,

See it grow brighter like the rising sun at dawn.

Breathe in for a count of four.

One,

Two,

Three,

Four.

Hold for a brief pause.

And exhale slowly with my count from 654321.

Excellent.

And repeat that cycle.

As you exhale,

Feel any tension,

Stress or heavy energy flowing downward like ash falling to the earth where it can be absorbed and transformed.

Repeat this breathing rhythm.

Inhaling for four.

Expanding the golden sun within your solar plexus.

And exhaling for six.

Releasing stress.

Letting the earth hold what you no longer need.

Continue this rhythm,

Feeling the warmth of your inner sun spreading through your whole abdomen.

Bringing calm strength and gentle energy to your stomach.

Now let's connect to the body.

Notice the sensation under your palms.

Perhaps you feel warmth or the gentle rise and fall of your breath.

Trust whatever you feel.

Dropping into a natural flow,

A natural rhythm of your own breathing cycle.

Whilst maintaining an awareness of that sun and power,

That fire within your solar plexus.

As the golden sun grows brighter,

Allow it to spread outward into your chest,

Down into your belly,

Filling your body with vitality.

Each exhale releases worry,

Fatigue or the remnants of yesterday.

Each inhale draws in clarity,

Strength and trust.

Notice how that feels.

The sensations and the responses of your body.

And feeling those beautiful,

Warming experiences.

Now let's layer this with some affirmations.

Silently or aloud,

Repeat after me.

I trust myself to digest life fully and with ease.

I transform challenges into energy.

I am confident,

Steady and strong.

Breathe these words into your solar plexus.

Let them sink into your cells like nourishment.

And another layer of integration.

Let's bring in some acupressure practices.

We're going to press gently on specific points of the body to stimulate the acupressure points.

Which will either release or stimulate energies.

For smoother,

More powerful flow within you.

Gently lower your hands and bring your attention to your legs.

Find the point called ST-36.

Zusanli.

It rests about three finger widths below your kneecap.

Slightly to the outside of the shinbone.

Using your thumb or fingers,

Gently massage this point on one leg for about a minute.

Breathing slowly as you do this.

Allowing yourself to receive the nourishment.

This point strengthens digestion,

Boosts your life energy and calms the nervous system.

Now switch to the other leg.

Massaging the same point.

Remembering to tune in with your breath.

And allowing your shoulders,

Neck,

Head,

Belly and your whole body to relax through this practice.

Feel yourself grounding,

Rooted like the earth element.

Steady and nourished.

You can now release your hands and allow them to relax.

And we'll come to close this meditation and practice.

Bring both hands back to your solar plexus.

Take a final deep inhale.

Drawing in the golden light of your inner sun.

Exhale slowly.

Letting that light radiate through your whole body.

When you're ready,

Gently open your eyes.

Carrying this steady warmth with you into your day.

You are grounded.

You are energized.

You are at ease.

Have a beautiful nourishing day.
