Welcome beautiful soul.

I hope you've had a wonderful day.

Welcome to the evening cooling solar plexus release meditation.

With the aim to reduce upward fire or acid felt in the solar plexus.

Release the day and prepare your body and mind for peaceful sleep.

Welcome to your evening practice.

This is your time to unwind.

To cool and settle the fire of your solar plexus and to release the day with gentleness.

Find a comfortable position.

You may sit supported with your spine long or recline with cushions preparing for rest.

Allow your body to soften into the surface beneath you.

Close your eyes if it feels safe and begin to turn inward.

Take a slow inhale through your nose and sigh the air out of your mouth.

Again,

Deep inhale.

Long exhale with a sigh.

One more time,

Breathing in fully and releasing completely.

Feel your body start to relax.

We begin with a breath practice to cool the inner fire.

If you can,

Curl your tongue into a straw shape,

Extending it slightly out of your mouth.

If not,

Purse your lips into a gentle O shape.

Inhale slowly through the curled tongue or lips.

Feel the cool air entering.

Exhale softly through the nose.

Letting the warmth flow out.

Continue this cycle for two to three minutes.

Cool air in.

Warm air out.

With each breath,

Imagine your solar plexus fire adjusting from too hot to steady,

Balanced and calm.

Now,

Place both hands over your solar plexus,

The space just above your navel.

Breathe gently into this space.

Visualise a soft golden light glowing within your stomach,

Like a lantern shining at dusk.

The flame is steady,

Neither too strong nor too dim.

It radiates warmth,

Comfort and calm.

With every exhale,

See this golden light expand through your body,

Flowing into your chest,

Down into your belly,

Through your arms and legs.

Each breath spreads calm and steadiness further,

Until your whole being glows softly in golden light.

As the golden glow spreads,

Imagine it carrying away the residue of your day.

Any stress,

Worry or unprocessed emotions dissolve into the light.

Your stomach settles.

Your mind softens.

Your heart feels at ease.

Whisper silently or aloud,

I release the day.

I am calm.

I am calm.

I am clear.

I am at peace.

Repeat these affirmations slowly with your breath,

Letting them sink deeply into your body.

Now scan your body from head to toe.

Notice if any areas feel tight or restless.

As you breathe,

Send the golden light there.

With each exhale,

Allow those areas to soften and relax.

Feel your jaw unclench.

Your shoulders drop.

Your belly ease.

Your legs grow heavy.

You are safe.

You are supported.

Imagine now that the golden lantern in your solar plexus becomes smaller and steadier.

A gentle flame that will keep you warm and safe throughout the night.

It no longer needs to burn brightly.

It rests with you.

Going just enough to sustain balance.

Take three final deep breaths.

Inhale light.

And exhale to release.

Inhale balance.

And exhale to relax.

Inhale peace.

And exhale rest.

As this meditation draws to a close,

Feel yourself ready for rest.

Your stomach is calm.

Your mind clear.

And your body relaxed.

If you are reclining,

Allow yourself to drift towards sleep.

You are in a deep sleep,

Carried by the golden glow.

If you are seated,

Gently wriggle your fingers and toes.

And when you are ready,

Open your eyes softly,

Carrying this peace with you.

You are calm.

You are steady.

You are at peace.

I wish you a restful sleep.

Namaste.

This was such an interesting breathing technique but I think I really liked it! I've never heard of breathing in through the mouth and out through the nose but it seemed to really help my digestive system relax, which is my biggest hurdle. Will definitely do this one again. Thank you 🙏
