Welcome to your Bubble Bath Meditation.

Find a comfortable position.

You may lie on your back or be seated.

If you're seated you can either sit with your legs crossed in easy pose or you can sit on your feet in kneeling pose.

You can sit on a cushion or have one behind you if that helps you feel comfortable.

Keep your back nice and straight.

Place your hands facing upwards ready to receive the energy around you.

Gently close down your eyes as you start to settle into your meditation.

Take a full breath in through your nose and a long breath out through your nose.

Another full breath in and a long breath out.

Notice how with each breath your body is relaxing and becoming still.

Can you notice where you feel your breath in your body?

Is it under your nose?

Maybe it's in your chest?

Perhaps your belly?

Notice where you feel your breath come in and out of your body.

As you take each breath your body feels more and more relaxed as we let go of the day that we've had and just simply be in this moment.

Imagine that you're lying in the bath.

The water is warm and there's lots of bubbles in your bath.

Take a deep breath in and smell the beautiful aroma of the bubble bath.

It feels so nice to lie here.

The water supports you completely as you float effortlessly.

You feel so free floating here in your bubble bath.

You notice that the bubbles are starting to float up into the air.

Some of them change shape,

Some change color and some even pop.

These bubbles are like our thoughts.

Our thoughts are not fixed.

They can change too and they come and they go.

Our minds are amazing.

They can think all sorts of things.

Some thoughts are helpful and others aren't.

Sometimes we get too many thoughts.

These thoughts can make us feel worried or sad or lonely or even angry.

Imagine that your thoughts are like bubbles.

They rise up out of your bath.

Notice them float into the air.

We don't need to hold on to them.

We can let them go.

Some thoughts don't float away.

Instead they float around in our mind and they can cause us to worry.

These bubbles need some extra help to float away.

We can blow these thought bubbles away.

Having fewer thought bubbles clears our mind and it gives us space for learning at school or to enjoy playing with our friends.

As you soak in your warm bubble bath,

Notice your thought bubbles.

Let them float away.

You may also notice that some worry bubbles don't float away.

Some of your worry bubbles might be small,

Others may be bigger.

You can blow away all of your worry bubbles no matter their size.

When you notice a worry bubble,

Blow it away by taking a deep breath in and a full breath out.

We're gonna spend the next minute now blowing away any worry bubbles that we might have.

When you notice a worry bubble come into your mind,

Take a big breath in and blow it away.

Let's start now.

You Well done!

Well done for blowing your worries away.

Notice how you feel after blowing them away.

Doesn't it feel good to let go of your worries?

It leaves room for more joy and more happiness in your life.

You realize that bubble baths are a great way of letting go of your worries.

It's time for you to leave your bubble bath now,

But know that it's always here for you whenever you need it.

All you have to do is close your eyes and imagine your lovely warm bubble bath.

Slowly start to wiggle your fingers.

Slowly start to wiggle your toes.

Give your body a big stretch and give yourself a big hug and thank yourself for this special time to look after yourself.

And when you're ready you can open your eyes.

Congratulations on completing your bubble bath meditation.

Namaste.
