
The Divine Space Between Thoughts

There is a sacred space between thoughts, which also happens in between every breath we take, with every wave that comes to its peak before it breaks. This moment of transition is sacred because it has zero movements. So it is a place of birth and death that comes from the source of our ocean of stillness, quietness, and pure consciousness.

Wonderful.
Okay,
So we start.
And today we're talking about or meditating about the sacred space between thoughts.
So this sacred space is not only between thoughts,
It's between everything.
It's between breath,
You know,
Breathing in,
Breathing out.
It's when the wave goes to its peak before it breaks.
Everything that comes to its peak,
It always has a pause before it's transitioning into the next manifestation.
And that moment of transition,
We say it's sacred.
And why?
Because there is no movement there.
Zero.
Zero movement.
So you can say that it's a place of birth and it's a place of death.
And that place of birth and death,
Actually it's the same place.
And where it arises from,
And when it dies too,
It's the same place.
It's the ocean of stillness,
Of quietness,
Of pure consciousness.
Okay,
So let's first connect to the breath.
But actually before we're connecting to the breath,
Let's try to become aware of awareness.
Before we place the awareness on an object,
Let's just be aware.
What does it mean to be aware?
You know,
Or mindful,
We can say like this also.
But always we connect it to an object.
I'm aware of.
I'm mindful of.
So let's see what happens when we are just aware without any object.
What is it?
Where is it?
How is it?
Let's just be there.
Awareness.
No object.
Even not aware that I'm aware.
Because awareness I'm aware of is also an action,
You can say.
So something is completely falling and uniting.
There is no action.
Zero action.
As if there is a fan,
Like ceiling fan.
It goes really fast and then you switch it off.
And then you go,
And it stops.
We're stopping,
Become aware of anything.
And we're kind of merging in the space that everything appears in it.
This is a space that is the sacred space that everything arises from and comes back to it.
We can say dies to,
But lose its form into.
If you look at the image of the ocean,
So we can say that the water evaporating to become clouds,
And then they're coming back as rain,
And again ocean.
So it took form and then it come back to become its origin.
So let's recognize within ourselves that place that is completely quiet.
And maybe we are not quiet,
But this place is quiet.
Maybe our mind is crazy.
Maybe our body doesn't feel good.
Maybe we feel emotional,
Very emotional.
But all this can be experienced because there's a space in which it manifests.
This space is who we are.
So as much as we're surrendering into this space and becoming this space without any effort,
Because you cannot become it,
You are it.
So it means you have to fall back,
Like they say,
The pilot says,
Now just sit back and relax.
That's all we need to do.
Relax.
And relax is not only relax the body and feel comfortable in your body,
No.
Actually it's relax the ego that kind of holding the identity that I am me.
So we allow the mind to soften completely.
Okay,
This is beautiful place to be because it's the essence of everything.
And then what appears in this space,
If we don't identify it,
It's what it is.
No big deal.
Maybe it's strong emotion,
Like very strong thoughts or not strong,
Whatever comes,
Is okay.
Good.
So now let's play a little bit first with the breathing because this is more physical.
So just breathe normal,
But pay attention now to the breath and especially pay attention to the change between in-breath and out,
And out and in,
You know,
This point of transition.
Okay,
So just be so,
So extremely aware of each and every step of the breathing process.
Let's take a minute for that.
Okay,
And then we let go of any focus awareness on the breathing.
Again,
You know,
We fall down and dissolve into the space which you are.
Relax completely.
If you relax completely,
Then you can easily notice how waves of thoughts,
Of emotions,
You know,
Of sensations,
How they come,
Manifest and go.
Okay,
So now let's pay specific attention to the thinking pattern.
So pay attention to what's happening right now in your mind.
Is it completely quiet?
Are there any thoughts,
Movements in your mind?
Now being aware of sounds,
Voices,
Sensation is not the same as thoughts.
Thought is an active movement of thinking,
Of inner words,
Inner dialogue.
Yeah,
So pay specifically attention to that and try to differentiate between active thinking to just being aware of things that are coming through your senses.
Good,
And now let's initiate the thought.
So just be very,
Very aware when you are starting to think about something that has nothing to do with the meditation now.
Shopping list of tomorrow,
What you need to do,
Something like this.
But do it with a lot of awareness and don't dive into it and disappear in it.
Yeah,
Just initiate it and see what happens in your system,
See what happened to your energy,
See what happened to your emotions,
See what happened to the physical sensation in the body.
Okay,
And now drop it,
Drop it,
Drop it completely,
Meaning if possible zero thinking.
Yeah,
As if you are again floating,
If you've ever been in the Dead Sea in Israel,
It's made out of salt and when you go there you can lie down and the feeling of being held is unbelievable.
Yeah,
So this is the floating,
Just relaxing,
Letting go of any thoughts,
Anything that worries you,
Completely relaxed.
Okay,
And again,
Let's practice it again.
So initiate the thought,
Doesn't matter what,
But don't dive and don't go with it.
Yeah,
Don't let it take you too much.
Just initiate the thought about something completely irrelevant to what we're doing and see what happens to your system and then drop it again.
Drop it again completely if possible.
If not possible to drop it completely,
So drop as much as you can,
Meaning you might feel that your mind is still active,
But there's part of you observing that,
Which is perfectly wonderful,
It's beautiful.
Yeah,
Okay,
So whatever you can,
But most important is to be aware that you are the space in which the thoughts are arising and not identify with them.
Ideally,
You know,
We're relaxing deeper and deeper and deeper,
So our mind is so relaxed it doesn't want to think even.
Wonderful.
Now,
Let's call the heart space to support us as well.
So if you can now,
Instead of focusing your awareness on thoughts,
Direct your awareness into your heart space in the center of your chest,
Just quietly experience what's happening.
Okay,
And let's again initiate a thought,
But now we have a helper,
Which is the heart space,
To anchor us more when we're letting go of the thought.
So let's initiate again a thought that has nothing to do with what we're doing,
Completely random,
Maybe something that even bothers you,
So it will be more impactful.
See what happened to your emotions,
To your energy,
To your physicality,
To your breathing.
All the system transforms and becomes more tense.
And now,
Before going too deep into this loop,
Let go.
Let go and relax your mind back to its source,
Which is meaning stillness,
And then go deeper into your heart and let it rest in your heart,
Inviting your heart to like caress,
To soften,
To hold,
To embrace your mind,
So it will stay held and soft.
Another thing that can help us is when we feel that the mind is moving a bit faster than we would like it to be,
And it's not really in control,
We can ask who is thinking.
So let's just be with this question,
And remember that the answer for this question is never,
Or shouldn't be,
Mental.
It's not,
I am thinking.
The answer for this question is an experience,
Because in this question we're inviting the mind to look at its source,
Who is thinking.
If the mind says,
I am thinking,
Then we ask the next question,
Who am I?
Then again,
Whoops,
It goes to its source,
And we're finding this sacred place between thoughts,
Stillness.
Okay,
So if you can take a minute and just go to that thought,
Who is thinking?
I am thinking.
Who am I?
Peace.
Okay,
Play with it a little bit,
See how that works for you.
Wonderful.
And now let's celebrate the fact that we are here together,
Amazing,
Radiant,
Lovely being,
Lovely infinite being,
And let's support each other to have the most deep experience of wholeness,
Of unity,
Of light.
Yeah,
Because each one of us has different experience,
Come back from different background,
But our essence is exactly the same.
We are all infinite,
Radiant beings with human experience.
That's who we are.
Okay,
So we are here together to support each other,
And as a result to support all humanity,
To raise vibration into that sense of unity and light.
So let's acknowledge each other's presence,
That we are here together,
And let's visualize that between all of us we're creating a circle,
A circle of light,
A circle of hearts,
A circle of radiant beings,
And our hearts are starting to beat together and to share love among us.
Yes,
So that place of stillness which we experience between thoughts get enhanced more and more,
Get illuminated more and more,
And being supported and giving support.
Every time we inhale we receive more light,
More radiance.
Every time we exhale we're sharing the same qualities with our brothers and sisters on the spiritual path.
It's important that when we're doing this breath and this connection and this unity,
We'll do it with awareness of infinity,
Not as a person,
As a small ego person,
But as an infinite being.
Then the experience is so powerful,
You can say mind-blowing,
Because it blows the mind and keeps it completely infinite.
Inhaling light,
Love,
Exhaling and sharing it,
Raising vibration.
One heart,
One mind.
And let's invite to our circle the whole humanity.
So what we do,
Visualizing that we're forming a matrix of light all around planet earth that's made from light being,
Which is everybody,
And every time we inhale and exhale we're forming this layer of matrix of light being,
And it starts to breathe and become more and more radiant,
Bright,
Illuminated.
Illuminating the earth and illuminating the heaven,
And illuminating each other.
Yes,
So every breath,
This layer all around planet earth become more and more bright,
Radiate,
Full of love.
And let's visualize this beautiful energy is shared as well among all the animals on the earth,
In the air and in the sea,
Among all life forms,
Trees,
Flowers,
And any type of life form,
Among the oceans and the lakes,
Among the trees,
The rocks,
The minerals.
Everything is full of love and full of light.
If you really acknowledge it,
If you really believe it,
If you really see it,
You can feel that the earth underneath your feet is nourishing you with more love,
Because you're giving it love.
You can feel that the heaven is caressing you with more love,
Because you're sharing love.
So this gets the power get more strong and increasing and increasing.
Beautiful.
