Welcome,
Let's talk about managing strong emotions.
It's so common that we're reacting to life strong,
And actually it's beautiful,
It means we're alive,
And we're interacting with what's happening passionately,
Strong.
That's great,
But sometimes we pay a big price because we get washed in that stream and we're losing ourselves inside the thoughts,
Inside the emotions,
And we lose connection with the present moment.
As the thought is strong into the ego,
It will be stronger and more difficult to get out of it.
It will create stronger emotion.
So when somebody's car was stolen,
I can be very sympathetic with them,
But actually it's no big deal for me.
But if I get out and I want to take my car for a drive,
And then it's not there,
That's a biggie.
Okay,
Just a small example.
So as the problem in a way is more personal,
Is more difficult,
And it's more threatening our existence,
We're reacting stronger obviously,
And then it's more difficult to deal with the emotion that's being created.
We have to look at ourselves as spiritual warriors,
Something like this,
That we don't give up.
When we get a tsunami of thoughts and emotions,
We don't give up,
We pay attention to it,
And we're letting go,
We're letting go.
So how to let go?
Number one,
You have to be committed and know that it's so important that you let go of this emotional and mental tsunami.
There's a lot of movement in you,
It doesn't feel good,
And as earlier as you let go,
It's better.
This is number one.
So the conviction is most important because this will help you to shift from really thinking and feeling into more observing.
So moving into observation,
And you say,
Hey,
You know,
What's going on?
And you start to be aware of what's happening within you.
So you're already creating space between the thoughts,
The emotion,
And the one who sees them.
As you become more aware of what you're feeling,
There'll be more distance,
And you'll have more ability to really control it and to work with it.
So it's not that we want to control and not to feel,
But we want to move away from it.
Like when you look at the wall,
You're not the wall.
When you sit on a chair,
You're not the chair.
So why,
When you feel anger,
Anxiety,
Fear,
You are the anger.
I'm angry,
I have so much fear.
Why?
You're not the wall,
And you're not the anger.
You're the space in which everything manifests.
Wall,
Anger,
Fear,
Anxiety,
Any emotion manifests in the space which you are.
As you're more aware of that,
You have more ability to work with your emotions and feelings and create more and more and more space from it.
So remember,
Step number one is to acknowledge,
I'm in trouble.
I have too many thoughts and too many emotions in me right now.
Only that awareness is 50% of the job done.
Then you start to become aware.
Not what I think,
Not what I feel,
But where do I feel it?
Where do I think it,
In a way,
Which part of my head being activated,
Feel stressed,
Feel tensioned.
Just be aware of what's happening within you instead of the story.
Be aware of the one who tells the story and the one who feels the emotion related to the story,
And your life will change big time.
Remember,
It's a big and deep commitment to feel good,
To move out of the story of the drama of life and to be more the observer of that and not the one who actually the protagonist and all the time in the center of the drama.
We had enough drama.
Now it's time to relax.
Blessing for a beautiful,
Beautiful day and life.
