So the theme of today is how to stop thinking.
It's a biggie because we're thinking all the time.
So before we start meditating or talking about the subject,
Let's first of all just acknowledge our presence together because we are here putting our energy,
Our mind,
Our intention to be together and it's important that we realize that when we put our intention,
Actually we're becoming one and we're affecting each other.
So let's activate our mind in this way and acknowledge that we are together here and we're doing some work together and we're supporting each other and just acknowledge this in our mind and maybe visualize that we're forming a circle and we're connecting just by creating this image in our mind and we're connecting just by opening our heart and we're feeling the unity,
We're feeling that we are one and we can feel that actually we are sharing energy,
We're sharing love,
We're sharing light.
So this already ties into the subject of this meditation which is how to stop thinking because what we just have done here just now is we created a thought to activate an image and activate reality.
So that's exactly how it happens all the time but we are not aware of it.
So first we need to understand why to stop thinking.
We need to think in order to do everything.
If I need to go to the toilet,
I need to think,
I need to know where is the toilet otherwise I go to another place.
Anything we do,
We think always.
So why to stop thinking is not really to stop thinking but to be more aware of what is positive and supportive and what is actually harmful.
So here we need to work on awareness and we need to understand,
Yeah,
So first awareness is what allows us to pay attention when we think in a healthy and constructive way and when we think in a destructive way.
But the problem is that most of the time we are not aware and the mind is just going on automatic pilot.
So what happened that even the way we put our shirt on,
The way we brush our teeth and the way we do everything is habitual and actually it's a circuit in the mind that's habitually functioning the same all the time.
Those thoughts are habitual movement in the mind that we need to pay attention to them.
But if it's habitual,
If it's like a circuit that's constantly moving again and again,
It means that we are not aware of it because it's part of our body,
Part of our mind.
So we need to start to work with this tendency of the mind to be habitual,
To do everything again and again the same.
So it's not only stop thinking,
It's trying to intervene in these tendencies to do things the same.
And like this,
We're going to develop more and more awareness also to thinking,
Okay?
So we need to move stop thinking from the meditation cushion or only from the mind into habitual habits,
Everything.
It doesn't mean to stop eating with the right hand and to eat with the left hand all the time,
But it means that we're bringing more and more awareness into everything we do.
So this is step number one.
Step number two is to understand that actually the place of the mind is not in itself thinking.
That's not the position of the mind,
That's not where it should be,
Yeah?
The mind has to be,
When it's not thinking in a constructive way,
Has to be in the heart or in the second chakra,
Yeah?
But not in a thinking mode,
Just like left alone to run and to roam because this is dangerous.
It's not helpful and many times it brings in like a backfiring of negative emotion that are bad for us.
So we really have to pay attention and to start to develop a habitual movement that will contradict the one that we're always doing and like this we're going to bring more awareness also to the way we think.
Another point that is very important is who is thinking,
You know,
Because what happened that we live as if I am me,
Yeah?
So if I am me,
So every thought that comes in my mind belongs to me.
And if it's a negative thought and it's an alarming thought,
I treat it in this way and I get very anxious and I feel that something bad is going to happen.
So if I understand that actually I am not the thought,
I am observing the thought,
So it's also helped me to move away from thinking,
Yeah,
And not to identify,
Not to grasp into it so much,
Okay?
Another point that is very important in this process of stopping thinking is to acknowledge that there is a component,
A chemical component of addiction,
Okay?
Because if the mind is constantly feeling that it has to protect us and to think because something bad is going to happen or I have to figure out my life or whatever,
In that case the mind needs some substance to maintain this alert,
Anxious mode of being.
So in this case the body and the mind are gearing towards supporting this anxious state because we're living in a state of anxiety because something bad is going to happen.
Okay,
So we have to understand that there is an addictive component to the fact that we're thinking all the time.
So it's already chemical,
You know,
It's more than just,
Oh,
My mind is doing what it wants.
No,
It's my body and my mind are geared to support an anxious fight or flight situation that we live most of our life in that way.
So again,
Just to summarize this part before we go into the meditation,
In order to break these cycles that really they are now out of our control,
We need to start in small things of breaking habits.
Yeah,
Like I'm used to talk with my right hand,
Now I talk with my left hand.
Just a small example,
Okay?
So I want to encourage you to bring that into every aspect of your life.
As much as you're more aware of mundane movement,
Simple movement,
You know,
If you do yoga and you put your hands like this,
Put them like this,
Why not?
Try,
See how it is,
Yeah?
And the mind will say,
Oh,
I don't like it,
Yeah?
Just try to write with your right hand,
Which is your habitual one,
And then even think about writing with your left hand and you feel,
Whoa,
I cannot do that,
You know?
Because this is already circuited in the brain,
This is not,
Yeah?
And the same with thought.
I love myself is not circuited in the brain,
Yeah?
But life is dangerous is very circuited in the brain,
Yeah?
So this is easy,
But create a lot of problem.
This is more difficult,
Life is safe,
But the benefit is much bigger,
Okay?
So it's a global approach of our being is not just something small,
Yeah?
It's a big one,
And to understand that it's for our health and for our well-being and for our mental health,
We must do it,
Yeah?
Okay.
Another thing important,
Which relates to mind and heart harmony is the feeling of gratitude,
Yeah?
Because when we live in gratitude,
The mind relaxes and the heart relaxes and immediately they form connection.
When we feel that life supports us and life loves us,
Yeah,
We live less with anxious more that something bad will happen to us,
Yeah?
And all those things are not habitual,
So we have to teach ourself to do it,
Yeah?
Because it's not habitual because what comes in the news is opposite.
What come from society is opposite,
Yeah?
What come from the medical establishment is opposite,
You know?
We have to fight,
Okay?
So okay,
So that's some introduction,
Let's do some meditation now.
So first,
Before we calming the mind,
Which obviously it's essential,
Let's just pay attention what's going on in the mind.
How fast it moves and as a result,
What's going on in your body,
You know,
Because the mind and the body are completely connected.
When the mind move fast,
The emotions,
The energy,
Everything is stirred,
Okay?
So just by paying attention,
Already we shifted something,
But I want to ask you,
Maybe just pay attention the way you sit,
Maybe the way you hold your hands,
Maybe the way your feet are placed,
Wherever they're placed.
Maybe there you can do something that is less habitual.
See what you can do.
Okay,
And then let's work a little bit with gratitude and let's just feel gratitude happening within us and there's endless thing we can be grateful for,
You know,
We can be grateful for,
I mean,
Everything,
You know,
The one who built the chair I'm sitting on,
I'm grateful.
But even if you don't have a object of being grateful for,
Just breathing with thanks is so powerful,
Thank you.
So let's take a minute to synchronize breath and thanks or grateful to calm the mind and to harmonize mind and heart.
And now naturally when the mind start to open and the heart start to relax,
So we can feel stuff we like to be thanking or grateful for.
For example,
I hear the birds,
Maybe you can hear also in the background,
It's beautiful,
I'm thankful for that.
I feel the clothes nice and comfortable on my body for that as well.
So just let's take a minute and just find things that you feel,
You feel that they are comfortable,
That's why you are thankful for.
And it's very important that this moment of gratefulness,
Of being thankful,
Is not only mental but it's emotional,
Because the emotion is when the body activated and the mind is connected for that.
Beautiful,
We continue,
Some small things I would like to be thankful for is the air on my face,
Is a sense of caressing,
So the sense that life loves me,
The stability that the earth gives me by feeling very stable,
Sitting,
Supported,
Life supporting me,
Thank you for that.
The air that I breathe is full of energy,
Oxygen,
Vitality,
Thank you for that.
My family,
That they are taking care of things and allowing me to be here and to focus on what I need to do,
I want to do,
So I'm so much grateful for that.
And if we expand gratefulness,
We expand,
We can easily see that it's the whole creation,
It's the stars,
The planets,
It's the rain of last year or a million years ago,
It's the creation,
It's everything,
So we can be grateful for creation.
So,
Slowly as we're practicing gratitude,
There should be a sense of a heart opening and a sense of a safety,
A sense of,
Oh,
I can relax,
I'm taken care of,
Because a lot of the thinking is the fear that I need to take care of everything.
So,
When we practice gratitude,
Ah,
We can let go and feel,
I'm held.
So,
Let's see if we can just feel that we are held,
Yeah,
We are held.
I feel how the breath moves deeper as a result of being held,
Or being supported,
Or being loved.
No need to hold and no need to think.
Okay.
So,
We did this,
We practiced this,
So the mind and the heart are now more in balance,
But maybe still there is a pocket of tension and places within us that doesn't feel completely at ease.
So,
For that,
Let's pay attention to some chakras and soften the chakras.
For that,
Let's acknowledge that we are infinite.
So,
When we're releasing the tension in the chakras,
It has infinite space to synchronize and to be nourished,
Vitalized by.
So,
Let's go to the base chakra.
Just invite the base chakra and infinity to harmonize,
To synchronize.
Again,
It's all surrendering,
It's not hard work,
It's not super visualization,
Just invitation and surrendering and enjoyment.
Okay.
Let's move into the second chakra and there as well.
Invite synchronization and harmony.
Acknowledge infinity as if circles of power are moving and harmonizing between infinity and the sun.
Acknowledge infinity as if circles of power are moving and harmonizing between infinity and the second chakra below the navel.
And again,
When it starts to open and open,
Surrender and enjoy.
I'm taken care of,
My body is strong and it's all working wonderfully.
Just letting go.
Then we move into the solar plexus,
Just below the chest,
The upper part of the abdomen.
Again,
Inviting solar plexus to harmonize,
To soften,
To synchronize with infinity.
Remembering that life is created by our mind and if we visualize infinity,
We have so much space to open and we feel so connected.
Allowing the heart chakra to expand and synchronize.
And synchronize.
Throat.
The third eye.
The crown.
Now invite your whole being to feel that you are infinite,
So you're radiating so much light,
So much power,
So sunny.
And your energy doesn't stop in any distance.
It's so powerful,
So radiant,
Just because you say so.
So right now you're creating reality and this is the reality.
And that's what's happening.
Reality comes from your mind.
The same as I'm small,
Life is difficult,
You know,
I'm only me and I'm lonely.
This is also reality.
So why do this?
Just expand and expand and expand.
Infinite being.
Okay.
If the mind is still jumping here and there,
No worries,
It's normal.
You can always guide it more and more to the heart and let it rest,
Let it rest in your heart.
As if the heart is like a cradle that the mother holds and the mind is a crying anxious baby that had a bad dream.
And the heart has the mother and the heart has the mother just embrace the heart,
The mind,
Say it's okay,
Relax,
I love you.
Okay.
So probably we,
I mean,
Most of us,
I hope all of us feeling much more relaxed and the mind is not giving too many problems right now because it's quiet.
But then as we stop the meditation it will,
Maybe it will start to make its usual noises.
So as important in the meditation even more important when we finish the meditation.
Yeah.
So please understand like I explained in the beginning that we have to break habits.
It's a habit.
It's addiction.
You know,
It's something that we can change but we have to pay attention and to work with it.
So just to summarize in order to stop thinking we have to pay attention to habits and to start to consciously change them.
Not in a painful way not a punishment way but gently and lovingly change habits.
Don't do everything the same all the time.
And then immediately it will put a spotlight where is your mind yeah,
And then guiding the mind to the heart practicing gratitude and understanding that you are infinite being.
So just to conclude let's visualize that this beautiful energy that shared between us is now shared among all being on planet earth as if we're creating a grid of flight among all humans animals,
Plants mountains all forms of being alive or what we call not alive because everything is alive and as visualizes as we exhale we're moving so much light and love through the grid of mother earth so all being are enjoying this beautiful state of well-being of love of calm mind and then let's visualize that the earth itself is radiating same quality of love and light into the whole creation so all the planets all the galaxies the space between all filled up with those qualities and a measurement how am I doing how advanced I am in this work is how much I'm just relaxed within myself how much I'm just ok without any external stimulations so if you find yourself needing something I must look at this I must do this I must it means that you're not in a relaxed place and the habits pulls you so just check in constantly to know where you are and to make the changes needed ok thank you so much adios adios
