Okay,

So the subject today is how to calm our mind.

It's the most basic,

But that's really what we depend on.

If the mind is all over the place,

We cannot concentrate,

We cannot do anything.

So first of all,

We have to understand what is the mind.

You know,

We call the mind and we relate to the mind so much,

But what is it?

Has anybody ever seen the mind?

We say,

My mind,

My mind,

And there are so many thoughts and so many things happening there,

And we can say it happens in the head,

We can say,

Oops,

It feels here,

But really what is the mind?

And also where the mind is coming from,

What is the source of the mind?

So we can say,

Oh,

It's in the brain and it's a neurological movement,

But where everything starts from,

Where those thoughts originate from,

The mind and the ego,

Actually it's exactly the same thing.

Mind and ego,

Same thing.

Mind and the I,

Same thing.

I is the first thought of the mind.

If there is no I,

There is no mind and there is no ego.

So always any thought,

Doesn't matter what we think about,

Underneath there is I,

That thought relates to me.

I also connect to the body,

Connect to the emotion.

My emotions,

My body,

Always I in the beginning.

So I is the first thought,

With I the mind is born,

And when the I goes,

The mind goes.

Okay,

So one thing is to calm the mind,

And if we go much deeper than that,

We have to see what is the source of the mind,

And then we are really cool,

We are very good because we go deep to the source where the mind arises from,

Where the I arises from.

And if we can connect to the source and investigate the source,

We will find actually that there is no mind,

That there is no I,

That there is only silence.

Because if you pay attention between one thought to another thought,

There is silence.

Between in-breath and out-breath,

There is a pause.

So always the peace is what allows the mind to form and to rise into action,

Into manifestation.

So like we can say that waves are made from water,

And the sparks of the fire are made from fire,

So sparks of fire cannot bring water,

They only create more fire,

Not more water.

And the waves,

Or water will always create waves,

Will not create apples.

So if we trace the thought of the mind to its origin and we'll find peace,

It means that thought actually the origin is peace,

Is silence.

Okay,

So all the noise we have in our mind,

Its origin is silence.

This is quite amazing to know.

And so first of all,

Let's meditate on relaxing the mind,

And then we'll go deeper to the source of the mind to really see that actually there is no mind.

It just appears.

It's like a phantasma in the desert.

It appears like something,

But actually there is nothing.

Okay,

So to calm the mind,

Obviously there are so many ways,

You know,

There is mindfulness and there is different meditation.

Let's just use a few ways and see what works for you.

Okay,

So the first way and the most powerful is the breath.

Okay,

So let's just connect to our breathing.

Just pay attention how the breath comes in and how it goes out.

So really what's happening here is not only that we pay attention to the breathing,

But the mind starts to be focused on one object and as a result it doesn't fly all over the place.

So just pay attention how the breath comes in and goes out.

So just to understand what we're actually doing,

We actually use awareness to be aware of the breath.

So instead of the awareness being aware of mental movement we call thoughts,

The awareness is focused on the breath.

As a result the mind is focused on the breath.

Okay.

Now the second part of what helps more is that we start to widen our awareness bigger than the body and we try to pay attention and to acknowledge that the breath comes from infinity,

It doesn't start from the nose or from the mouth,

It starts from infinity.

So we breathe infinity through the breath into our body and we exhale back to infinity.

So just to bring more teaching while we're doing it to understand the components that are working here,

So one is the breath,

The second is awareness.

Now awareness and mind,

They are very close together to each other,

Because if awareness is placed on an object,

The thoughts are focused on that object,

Hence they don't move unless they start to move.

Okay so we continue,

We inhale and exhale and we are aware that the breath comes from infinity into the body,

Nourishing,

Discharging in the body vitality,

Oxygen,

And when we exhale it goes back out.

Okay now as the breath becoming deeper and wider the mind will relax more.

So when we want to relax the mind more through breathing,

The attitude of us is of invitation,

We inviting the breath,

We inviting the energy,

We inviting the life force to come and nourish us deeper and deeper and deeper,

We creating space.

And there should not be any effort with that,

It's joy,

Pure joy,

We invite,

We relax,

We enjoy.

As if life are dying to caress us,

To nourish us,

To love us,

And we only need to permit it,

That's all,

Then it happens big time.

So for that it's also very relaxing for the mind if the mind recognizes pleasure in the body,

Because a lot of our time is spent with anxiety,

With fear,

With tension and stress.

So when the mind is focused to pleasure,

It counteracts those negativities.

So as you keep breathing,

Try to find the pleasure in breathing and the pleasure in the response of all your tissues,

All your emotions.

The mind softens,

The body feels more heavy and more comfortable,

And the sense of well-being starts to spread all over.

Now a lot of our anxieties come from a sense of fear and sense of I'm alone in this world.

So as we breathe,

We are so nourished with the life force,

We can acknowledge that actually I'm loved,

I'm taken care of,

I'm supported and protected,

And each breath is that quality,

Exactly that.

Okay so this is that way of working with the mind.

Let's take another way,

And let's use the image of two legs.

One leg,

We call it the mind or the brain,

Where the mental activity usually happens,

The other leg is in the lower abdomen,

The second chakra.

So we want to visualize that there is a channel or a beautiful stream of water that connects these two legs.

Now when the mind is agitated,

We can feel or imagine that the top leg is very agitated with the water,

Like small waves and a lot of movement,

And it's not comfortable.

The lower leg below the navel is empty,

Is dry.

So as we exhale,

We encourage the water from the top leg to flow down beautifully and to make their way into the lower leg.

So we inhale again from heaven,

From infinity,

Into the top leg.

When we exhale,

We direct the water from the top to the bottom.

Slowly we feel that the lower leg becomes warm,

Becomes vital,

Becomes alive,

And the top,

Which is the brain,

The mind,

The things,

Become more quiet,

More comfortable,

More relaxed.

Okay.

Another way that we can help the mind to soften is through the chakra system,

And what we can do if we feel agitated in the mind,

We can start to count,

If it's very agitated,

Only three to each chakra.

Let's do it together.

Let's connect to the base chakra,

The area of the pelvic floor,

And just count,

One,

Two,

Three,

But be focused on the base chakra.

Then we go to the second chakra,

Below the navel,

Again inhale,

Exhale and count,

One,

Two,

Three.

Solar plexus,

Inhale,

Exhale and count,

One,

Two,

Three.

Heart chakra,

Center of the chest,

Inhale,

Exhale and count,

One,

Two,

Three.

Solar chakra,

Inhale,

Exhale and count,

One,

Two,

Three.

And crown,

Inhale,

Exhale and count,

One,

Two,

Three.

If you're quite agitated,

You do three.

And then we do it again,

But now we count maybe five or ten.

So each one,

Let's do it on our own.

I'll just say the chakra,

Just stay there a little bit.

Just start and count whatever suits you on the base chakra.

Let's shift,

Inhale,

And exhale and count on the second chakra.

And visualize that the chakra opens,

The chakra widens,

The chakra becomes more voluminous,

More volume.

Continue,

Solar plexus,

Inhale and exhale,

Release tension,

Solar plexus.

The reason we combine counting in the beginning is because the mind,

Like this,

Can focus more.

But if the mind is not that agitated,

You can just rest your awareness without counting,

That's okay.

Let's go to the heart chakra.

Inhale and exhale and count if you want.

Let's go to the throat,

Inhale and count.

Let's go to the third eye,

Inhale and count.

And to the crown,

The same.

So after doing all these,

The system should be already pretty calm and comfortable,

So they just stay quietly.

And of course each one of us can choose what works best and you can adapt it for yourself.

There are more systems but that's enough for today.

So just see how you're doing right now.

Is your mind quiet?

So now let's continue and meditate more on the origin of the mind.

Where is it coming from?

For that,

The unity between mind and heart is the key.

So let's visualize that our heart is like a loving mother and our mind is the baby that had some bad dream and is crying.

We're directing the mind into the heart so the mother can caress it,

Can give it a warm shielded space and the mind can let go completely inside the heart.

To let go completely of the mind in a way we need it to be,

You can say,

Courageous,

Because we're not used to it at all.

And it brings us to a place that is the most comfortable possible,

But it could be scary for the mind itself to let go of itself.

So if fear arises when the mind is softening the heart,

It's normal and we try to go beyond that.

We know it's working because the heart starts to be nice and warm and open and comfortable and the mind relaxes,

As if the mind melts in the heart.

Now we don't stop there because we can acknowledge that we are not only this physical form,

How do we know that?

Because if we pay attention to our energy we can easily feel that it's radiating all over,

But it's not only that it's my energy radiating,

I am energy and everything energy,

And when I'm in the heart I can acknowledge that quite easily.

Everything is one vibration.

If you see colors,

You'll see colors just flying all over the place,

Beautiful colors,

But don't look for them because it's not important.

Okay,

So now when we have a sense of peace in the heart and there is a sense of expansion,

We can ask the question – this is more the fundamental – who am I?

Now the answer for this question cannot be another thought,

Because we say the I is the first thought,

So if we say I am this,

No,

That doesn't work.

The answer for this question must be an experience.

So you can ask this question – who am I?

And see what is the answer,

Experiential answer,

Not mental answer,

Don't go for that.

So what we're doing here really is we're guiding the awareness onto itself.

The awareness is guided onto itself.

There is no external object anymore,

There is only awareness guided on awareness.

So the I that was dreamed to be outside is coming back home tonight with the infinite being which we are and all is.

For the mind it sounds impossible,

But that's why we are called to drop the mind completely,

No mind.

If a thought arises,

We ask to whom this thought was arising,

And if the answer is to me,

We ask where is that me,

Where is it?

You easily see that thoughts are defining another thought,

But there is nothing real behind it.

Just enjoy a little bit that sense of infinity.

When the movement of the mind ceases and it's only infinite,

Pure consciousness,

Pure being,

That's who we are,

That's all is the same.

And when the mind,

If the mind,

And when it will kind of wake up and start to move,

You can observe it and see very clearly that all its thoughts and movements are based on the I.

If you don't dissect the I to nothing,

Then you are safe.

So there is no reason of course to say,

Now let's come back here,

Let's come back,

No.

That infinite being is who we are forever and as much as we can hold it,

We are really good and everything else we do in life will be more powerful,

More intense,

More alive,

More vital,

More loving.

So of course we do our best to keep it and to keep it,

It should be effortless,

It's just dropping into it,

It's not doing anything.

So if you find yourself again in the mind flying all over the place,

Just ask,

Who am I?

And bring the mind back in your heart and you're good,

You're safe.

Okay,

So let's take a minute of gratitude that life so graciously brought us together this evening.

We are teaching,

Saying that we've been incarnated millions and millions of times,

Not realizing until now that simple truth that I am all there is.

So here life has brought us to that moment.

Imagine how auspicious it is that we can realize our true self.

Wow!

There is so much gratitude for that.

Maybe that cycle of birth and death is done for us,

Depends on our effort,

On our conviction.

And all are welcome to join us every morning at 7.

30 for morning meditation.

Every day we do,

Through the mind,

Psychically connecting into a circle of love and light,

And every Wednesday I do it live,

One week Spanish,

One week English,

And as well every Sunday live meditation,

One week English,

One week Spanish.

So if you are bilingual,

You can do it every week.

And if not,

You can connect to the energy.

And everybody is welcome to join our energy reading,

Energy coaching courses in the Infinite Being Academy.

Wonderful.

Good evening,

Lots of love to everybody.

We're all one energy.

Adios,

Buenas noches.
