
Powerful Shadow Work
How often do you avoid yourself and the things that cause you pain? Your Shadow Self is only the repressed version of you. It's time to tap into your breath, learn to embrace uncomfortable feelings of being honest with yourself, and learn a different perspective of how to grow in life.

Close your eyes now.
Get comfortable and move your body from side to side.
Slow and gentle movements.
Breathe in the deepest breath you've ever taken today.
Hold it in in 3,

Breathe it all out.
Imagine you are inside a flower.
It could be any color you like,
Any type of flower that resonates with you.
The petals are protecting you from outside forces.
You are fully protected right at this very moment.
Stretch your arms and rotate your wrists.
Perhaps you feel or hear some cracking noise.
Just feel how you're moving your body.
Move your neck from left to right.
You can also rotate your neck if it feels right for you.
Breathe in deep from your nose and breathe out deep from your mouth.
Thank yourself for being here today,
For doing something brave,
For taking the time to connect with your shadow self.
The part of you that recognizes behavior that doesn't serve your highest good anymore.
Your shadow holds all of your fears,
Mistakes,
Anxieties,
And darkest thoughts.
It wants everything that you were never allowed or too afraid to have,
Even your own forgiveness.
Your shadow self has a tendency to stay stuck in that pattern.
But it is not who you are.
When you repress yourself,
You forget who you are.
You disconnect more with others.
You are numb to emotions or have repeatedly destructive emotional states.
You tend to have destructive behaviors that create self-sabotage.
Because of that,
You tend to have shallow and unfulfilling relationships.
Perhaps a lack of connection.
A lack of passion.
Because when you don't face your own darkness,
You will pretend you're only seeing light.
We're going to breathe together for 10 times through the mouth and out through your mouth.
Just stay present and I will guide you through this process.
Know that each and every breath you take,
You allow yourself to go deeper within yourself.

Breathe normally and feel that energy coursing through your body.
Allow yourself to go deeper.
To explore without judgments.
Now I want you to tune into a struggle you have in your current reality.
What memory,
Word,
Image,
Or symbol comes to mind?
Notice the first thing that comes up.
Whatever comes up has meaning to it.
Go into that memory,
Word,
Image,
Or symbol.
Get an intention and connect with your shadow self.
Don't be afraid now.
Your shadow self is only the repressed version of you.
Connect with your shadow self and learn a different perspective of how to grow in this life.
Now we're going to breathe for 10 times through the mouth and out through your mouth.
And remember that when you feel like you want to move your body or cry or scream,
Just know that you are in a safe space right now.
Don't hold it in.
Give in to that process of letting go.

Feel that sensation in your body.
While you are feeling,
Ask your shadow self.
What feelings are you afraid to feel?
Are you honest with yourself about your feelings?
And are you honest to other people about your feelings?
Breathe in deep and breathe out deep.
Let yourself answer this question.
Whatever comes up,
Comes up.
No judgments.
Only self-awareness.
What's the biggest promise you've made to yourself but have broken?
And how does it make you feel?
Do you notice how you lie to yourself daily?
Those little white lies that we all tend to do on a daily basis?
Breathe in deep and breathe out deep.
Be honest with yourself.
Whatever comes up,
Comes up.
No judgments.
Only self-awareness.
What do you need to forgive yourself for?
We are our own critics.
We carry this baggage of denying ourselves and putting ourselves down.
Forgiveness is only complete when it comes full circle,
When it includes yourself.

Your mistakes are merely lessons.
Everything happens just as it should.
So it's time to set yourself free.

Imagine you were talking to the past version of yourself.
Remember that who you are now isn't who you were back then.
Accept that.
Embrace that.
Repeat these words after me if it resonates with you.
I'm sorry for not always believing in your potential.
I'm sorry for holding you back with negative thinking and self-doubt.
I'm grateful for learning so much from watching you through my memories.
Even in the worst times,
You held on and keep moving forward with your journey.
Your faith in us saved me and who I am today is thankful that we never gave up.

I forgive myself.
I choose freedom at this very moment.
