Welcome to this meditation for highly sensitive people and empaths.

Highly sensitive people and empaths sometimes struggle to remain grounded and to protect their energy.

So let's enter a relaxing space,

Setting the intention to enter this space and reclaim our energy.

Coming into the breath,

Taking a breath in and out,

Starting to settle into this sacred space that honors and acknowledges and maybe even embraces your sensitivities.

Coming home to ourselves is essential in thriving as a highly sensitive person or empath.

So let's call all of our energy back to ourselves,

Back home to ourselves,

Calling any energy back that we've given,

Taken,

Or given by mistake to other people's situations or feelings,

To our own thoughts,

Our own feelings,

How we get displaced from our center.

So coming into our center,

Breathing in the central channel of the body,

Feeling the breath come up from the feet to the top of our heads and back in again.

Breathing up through the body and down again.

Coming into center,

Coming home to your body,

Calling all the energy back.

Feel it start to return home to you as you become aware of your emotional body,

The part of yourself that holds your feelings,

And recognize if any of your emotions have floated out to other people and situations.

And through the breath,

Bring it back to yourself.

Breathing into the emotional body,

Inviting safety in our emotional body.

And then bring your breath and awareness to your mental body,

Your thoughts and your actions.

And notice if your thoughts are elsewhere,

Without judgment,

Just bring those thoughts back home,

Quieting your mental chatter,

Quieting the thoughts,

Just putting them to the side for the moment.

And now bringing your attention to your physical body,

Noticing the tension,

The relaxation,

The sensations,

And noticing if your physical body has been leaning into other people's energy.

And if so,

Bring it back home to yourself,

Feeling that center,

Holding your center,

Noticing how the breath allows us to come back to that center.

And noticing the spiritual body,

The part of ourselves that spends time in nature,

In dreams,

In the unexplainable essence of life.

And breathing into that spiritual body,

Allow that to be the container that integrates and holds the emotional,

Mental,

And physical body.

Holding your own space,

Holding your own sovereignty,

There's no need to reach outside of ourselves.

For outside of ourselves,

We often feel exhaustion,

Overwhelm,

Stress,

And confusion.

And just for this moment,

We are going to hold our own sense of self,

Coming back to ourselves,

Holding our own center,

Breathing into that central channel of our body,

Feeling the strength that comes in knowing what is ours and what is others.

And as you're breathing,

If you notice other energy that is other people's or situations,

Just on and out breath,

Push it outside of the bubble of your spiritual body.

And with the breath,

Coming back to yourself,

Coming back home,

Coming back to safety,

Feeling the settling of the body,

Feeling the wisdom that comes in knowing what is ours and what is others.

Feel,

Sense,

Or know where you begin and where you end.

Breathing in and embracing the beauty of your sensitivities,

The joy,

Compassion,

And richness.

This depth of experience is your gift.

Seeing the world differently from others and in your way is perfect,

Beautiful,

And maybe at times messy,

But within it,

It is authentic.

It is yours.

You own it.

It is blissful and perfect,

Just as the gift of sensitivity means that we can breathe into our intuition,

Breathe into the knowing,

And maintain your sense of self while being connected to the larger whole of humanity.

See the beauty of the larger interconnectedness of every being and your part in it without becoming melded,

Without losing yourself.

Hold your center,

For within that center,

There is belonging.

Breathe into the sensitivities,

Breathe into the gratitude for the perfect,

Beautiful being that you are.

And there will be times when you feel the pain of others,

The lack of belonging,

The loneliness,

Or not being understood,

But you have a deep inner wisdom and knowing that you belong within yourself.

You can hold your center.

The way you see the world is so beautifully unique.

You are needed in the world.

The way you experience the world is needed.

I'm breathing into your emotional body once again,

Feeling the settling of your feelings,

Feeling the stability of your emotional body,

Feeling the wisdom of your emotional body.

I'm breathing in again,

Bring awareness to your mental body,

Breathing into the calmness of your thoughts,

The settling of your thoughts,

Knowing that you can trust what you believe to be true.

I'm breathing into your physical body,

Feeling the joy and bliss that comes from being grounded and centered in yourself.

It is safe to take up space in your physical body.

And then breathing in and reinforcing that beautiful bubble of your spiritual body,

Feeling that protection,

Feeling us being surrounded,

Feel the integrity and protection of the bubble,

Being solid and grounded within it,

Knowing that the world may continue as it is and all of our love and compassion can radiate outside of this bubble,

Permeate and make a difference in the world.

And at the same time,

We are protected and sheltered,

That we can shelter within this bubble,

Come back to this safe harbor,

This safe space.

No longer do we need to take on others' emotions.

To know others' emotions is a gift.

It is empowerment.

It allows us to be of service.

But no longer do we need to take others' emotions into our bodies.

Feel the separation of your sense of self from others.

Feeling your sense of self,

Embracing and empowering your sensitivities.

You are perfect.

You are loved.

Your sensitivities are needed in this world.

Namaste.
